The stay was exceptional. The houseboats are beautifully furnished, cosy and very clean. The location in the marina is perfect. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I was there for a week, including an upgrade for 2 days in the larger houseboat. This was also excellent. I enjoyed my time there very much and I'm sure it was not the last time I stayed there !!

Amazing, mystical location. Such beautiful and powerful River, magical mist, the dear visit of ducks in the morning, the gentle happiness of Lola the dog. Such a nice service and coziness from the ones who received us. We have been here a few times already, and will surely come back.

This was such a FUN experience!! Even though the space was small it had everything you needed for your stay. Siting on the patio in the morning overlooking the ocean while eating the basket breakfast that was included in our stay was truly magical! The food in the basket was continental but there was lots and it was very well done. For your dining pleasure there are restaurants literally across the street and shopping is within minutes. It’s a $6 Euro ride from the airport. The proximity to the airport was very close and was a factor in our stay. After a long trip we wanted fast and easy but yet a memorable experience. And that’s exactly what we experienced. The space was immaculate! Five stars for cleanliness. A deposit is required on check-in but was deposited to our visa the day we checked out.

Very friendly service. Breakfast is plentiful and will be brought to the houseboat from 1/29. Bikes can be rented and it takes about 30 minutes to get to the city center. Uber is a great and cheap way to get a ride. Heating and air conditioning available. Swimming in the harbor basin is not recommended. Overall, something different.

It was really superrrrrr!!!! the boathouse was very very comfortable! very cozy and original! warm, wooden floors! it is equipped with everything you can imagine! From coffee machine, kettle, dishes, apron, to vegetable peeler and corkscrew! great size refrigerator! with filling inside! The big house even has a dishwasher!Great water pressure in the bathrooms! very attentive staff! and what a great breakfast!!! If I’m in Lisbon again, I’ll definitely stay here!

Highly recommended for visiting in Lisbon, great view with swimming ducks, fishes, flying seagulls around. Comfortable rooms with all equipment and services. Friendly staff ready to assist on various questions 😍 20 minutes to central of Lisbon by Uber or taxi, but after crazy busy day it is good solution to have a rest. Good experience to have boats as a hotel, happy to come back next time

We have had a perfect stay on the Homeboat on our way to Brazil. Only 15 minutes away from the airport. The boat was very nice and new. Woke up with sunshine and a perfectly on time delivered breakfast. The staff was so nice and helpful and we enjoyed our stay very much. We will come back for sure and we can recommend the location a lot. Thanks again for the lovely stay.

The staff was exceptionally friendly, the location is good, accessible by metro (cheap) or by Bolt (super easy). On the boat you can either use the bathroom "on board" or the facilities from the port. The breakfast service is also worth mentioning! We are already looking forward to the next time ;-)

The modern houseboat had a nice rooftop terrace , comfortable beds, was well thought out and and equipped and offers an extraordinary experience, so beautiful close to the water and yet so good That it didn't need an own car. Fantastic experience. Joana was so welcoming and we loved the houseboat so much we want to buy one and put on a lake in Portugal. Great breakfast too delivered outside for us in the morning in a basket with an array of food including eggs we could cook ourselves.

The modern houseboat had a nice rooftop terrace, comfortable beds, was well thought out and equipped the place offers an extraordinary experience, so beautiful and close to the water. We left our car parked as there was no need to use it. Everything was within walking distance. We brought our two dogs and they felt right at home. There are no additional fees with pets, and that’s a huge plus. A great combination of freedom and individuality in the middle of Lisbon. Spent 4 nights and felt really at home. Highly recommended!!! Look forward to going back and even checking out the other Home Boat locations.

Amazing experience with my family (2 adults & 2 kids). Efficient space & modern decor on a beautiful boat with all the comforts of home (fully equipped kitchen filled with homeboat beverages :) a shower and tv/internet). Delicious breakfast basket served to your door in the morning. We enjoyed the sunset and sunrise from the rooftop. Very friendly staff & great communication. Highly recommend. Also pleased to discover the same company located in Azores. We will come again.

Fantastic stay! The views were breathtaking, and the location was both peaceful and conveniently close to amenities. The roof deck was a highlight, perfect for enjoying breakfast and soaking up the sun. The mini bar was well-stocked, the internet and shower worked flawlessly, and Netflix was a nice bonus. I had such a lovely stay. I have never stayed in home boat before. It was much better then I expected. Place was incredibly clean and smelled so great. The staff was so friendly and helpful and communication with them was so fast. Breakfast was sooo yummy and fresh. They helped me to storage my big heavy backpack during the time when I was in Madeira. Joana even brought my backpack to give it to me. I would love to return to this spectacular place when I will be back in Lisabon. Thank you everyone to be so sweet to me ❤️🙏

We really enjoyed our trips to Albulfeira & Lisbon in the Cabin Home boat. Very convenient location, close to restaurants/bars. We particularly like the communication with Marta who has been pleasant to deal with and extremely professional. She offered us a fantastic experience. Highly recommend!

It was a wonderful experience with my family. HomeBoat has a great team and we received a prompt support anytime we needed. The place is close to a shopping mall and many restaurants. Very calm place and proper to relax with a nice view to the boats.

I stayed at the homeboat for 2 nights and loved it! The location was great and very pretty and the service impeccable. The room is slightly small when the bed gets opened but still overall very nice. Also really enjoyed the bikes they offered for the stay. Definitely recommend!

Rooms are cozy, though small. Attention is in the detail with some decorations and all of the basic functionalities that you’d need (kettle, laundry hanger, towels, shampoo, etc). I appreciated the radiator which was useful since we arrived to a rainy, bit chilly weather. 5 stars are totally deserved for the service which was communicative and available immediately at any time - Whatsapp, Email, Phone (big thanks to Joana for that). The entrance to the premises might be tricky with the need to access the gated marina (+ parking which is next to it) and a short walk towards the homeboat. It is however explained on a video provided after reservation and should not be a problem.

Honestly one of the most incredible stays I have ever experienced. The attention to detail, cleanliness and the customer service that you get from The Houseboat Company! AMAZING and I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for that special time away whilst still being very much a part of Lisbon!

It was a completely unique experience for us, the staff was amazing;. Very accommodating, willing to help us with travel plans around Lisbon, served an amazing breakfast, our boat was very clean, and we had everything we needed! We also like the location, being close to attractions and the airport with free parking :-) My husband, Paul, thinks he met the under cover boss 😊 definitely a highlight during our stay in Portugal :-)

The place is amazing, the whole team is always very helpful, Vanessa and Marta are always willing to help. I stayed twice at this place, they have a mini lunch service which is delicious. Aside from the fantastic Marina views and weather, Homeboat is sensational.

One of the best stays in Lisbon. Its small but new and has everything you need. You have your own space, awesome breakfast that they deliver in the morning and the views.. who does not want to eat while facing the water.. If there is one issue, i wish that we could have stayed longer. I am also checking out their Marinas in other places.. But definitely recommend if you want something different…

Loved my stay here. A last minute booking on the day prior to my departure home. It’s unique and perfect for couples or solo travellers. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise. The staff were excellent. It’s an excellent choice due to its proximity to the airport and downtown Lisbon. It met all of my expectations, and then some.

Our first time experience living on a boat was great . We have enjoyed each moment there. Perfect communication, friendly staff, very clever furniture placement and decoration in a challenging small space, especially for IKEA fans. Very clean. And tasty breakfast delivered on requested time. In a sunny weather area on the roof enjoyable as a pleasant location for sunbathing and chilling.

It was my first time staying on a boat. Boat was so beautiful, so clean, so well equipped and people were so nice. You have a free bike, breakfast was included. They have even gluten-free option. Location is amazing. Ride your bike towards the bridge. Wifi was good. I didn't want to leave :)

These houseboats are so cool. I stayed in a small one and it was literally perfect. It had everything you could need. Bed was super comfy and the kitchen seemed to have everything!! The breakfast hamper was a brilliant touch. The team could not help enough and you really feel like you are part of a very cool community. Will definitely be staying there again, in a bigger one, with my kids!

We had a wonderful time in the home boat during our stay in January 2023. The place is safe and in one is the most beautiful areas of Lisbon... Highly recommend The Homeboat Company. A brilliant alternative to more traditional accommodation available in Lisbon. The location was very peaceful and within walking distance to local cafes, restaurants and shopping. You can reach the centre of Lisbon easily from the nearest metro station (about 30 minutes door to door). The accommodation is situated in beautiful surroundings. The hosts are extremely welcoming and go out of their way to make sure you have the perfect stay. Each morning a breakfast hamper was delivered containing generous portions of coffee, juice, milk, pastries, bread, yoghurt, granola and fruit. Loved being greeted by Lola, their very friendly dog, each day too. Overall, a perfect stay!

In total we were impressed. Super communication from the first touch and it just did everything easier....rent bikes and ride along the coast to the city, we did it with my kids 13 and 16 age in 30 minutes. the crew was amazing and helpful with everything, such a information and tips and tricks, help with booking of tickets if needed...up to small requests on board. amazing is the response time on whatsup. there was small issue with electricity but this was solved immediately. I recommend to rent larger houseboat if you are with elder kids but it worked for us to stay in smaller boat. for 2 nights as well too without issues. thanks crew again Mariana, Carolina and David!

Comfortable and brand new furniture in a totally private boat with nice and friendly staff is every thing one might need for a nice and peaceful vacation and rest. Healthy breakfast with a calm atmosphere and breathtaking view would definitely make your day. The shower was also great in case of water pressure and warmth.

Great experience! The location is a bit outside of the city centre but easily reachable by bus. Upon arrival I was offered an upgrade for the same price to a brand new and bigger boat which was really comfortable. More than enough for one person but would have been suitable even for more. Breakfast was also good quality left every morning in front of the door in a basket. There is a possibility to rent bikes as well free of charge. There is a deposit you have to pat upon arrival but if you dont destroy anything it is not an issue to get it back. Emiliane was especially helpful upon my arrival! I would definetely consider staying here again! Very relaxing place! And very cute golden retriever which belongs to the owners :)

Also, the possibility to park is a great add and the breakfast was a positive surprise, super good! I want to share my impressions about the hotel. Perhaps someone will be useful. Very good location. In the morning, exactly at the time when I said that breakfast was brought to us, the design of the breakfast was simply incomparable🥰🥰🥰 And most importantly, plumbing, hotels often have problems with this. But here everything worked perfectly, the shower was convenient to take, despite the fact that it was a boat. And the staff is very very very friendly. Probably not soon someone will be able to outshine them in this. I will definitely come back and recommend this place to my friends.

It was my first time in Lisbon and this accommodation was perfect. The staff was very attentive and helpful in all situations. The breakfast was excellent and left nothing to be desired. It was cleaned every day, there were enough towels, comfortable beds and the location was ideal. A unique experience!!

On my first visit to albufeira I saw the houseboats and though "damn, I'd love to stay in one of those". I came back and I did it and it was the best part of my travelling for the past 5 months! We were taken such good care of, always checked in and asked if we wanted it cleaned/needed anything etc. Breakfast was always amazing and you are literally in the marina watching the sun come up and go down. Beautiful beautiful!!! We will come again! Special shout out to Joanna and the crew who made it so lovely!

We went for one night, as a couple just looking for something relaxing and quiet. And we got all of that and more. Gonçalo Was a very attentive host always checking to see if everything was to our satisfaction. Check out was at 12 which we loved because it gave us the morning to just chill and enjoy the area. Finally the breakfast made in a basket and dropped off at the door in the morning was such a lovely touch. Will be back again. Couldn’t recommend this place more!

We had a lovely time at the boathouse. I have never stayed in a boat house before but this was the best place I have ever stayed in. The staff is very friendly, and very helpful. Ruben was very helpful at the time of booking the property, Nana was very helping while checking in and Joana. Would highly recommend to go to stay for more than one night because one night is not enough. They also provide you with breakfast and you can have a romantic breakfast with your partner outside the room, really loved the concept of the breakfast as they provid you with everything but you need to make your own eggs . You have a lot of things in the houseboat such as barbecue machine, toaster, microwave, induction, etc. This property is located at a very good area where you have restaurants and the mall close by. I would like to thank each and every staff that helped us, and thank you for the hospitality.

We spent four nights and loved every minute! We are 2 adults and 2 kids (12 and 9) and stayed in the 2 cabin boat with the added luxury of a hot tub on the roof terrace! Kids absolutely loved the boat and it was so much better than sharing a hotel room. The staff couldn't do enough and the boat was surprisingly well equipped. The breakfast that was dropped off each morning was a lovely selection which suited everyone in the group with more than enough to go around. The surrounding area was fantastic, especially for the kids and we are pleased we made the decision to stay slightly outside of Lisbon and give the kids such a great experience! We are already looking at when we can book again!! Thanks so much to Clara and the team for a fantastic stay - cannot recommend enough!!

This place was surprisingly good! had heard good things about it but better than what people say. I unfortunately had a flight that left very late and was afraid that I wouldn't be able to check in, as it was outside their check in. luckily, Clara called me, who welcomed me very well even though she had waited over an hour for me. The biggest thanks must go to Clara for welcoming me and making me feel special. 5 stars for Clara and Homeboat Company Best service ever from my host Clara ❤️
