One
of
the
most
unique
stays
that
you’ll
find
in
Lisbon.
I
chose
to
stay
at
Tagus
simply
for
the
novelty
of
spending
a
couple
of
nights
on
a
houseboat,
but
quickly
realized
once
I
arrived
that
the
accommodation
was
better
quality
that
most
of
the
hotels/apartments
I’ve
stayed
in
recently.
I
stayed
in
the
one-bedroom
narrow
boat.
It
was
more
spacious
than
I
thought
it
would
be
and
had
everything
that
a
stationary
apartment
would
offer.
A
comfy
bed,
a
small
sofa
and
dinette
set,
a
well-appointed
kitchen,
a
fantastic
heating
system
(warmed
the
entire
space
in
less
than
10
minutes),
and
even
a
“balcony”
on
the
bow
of
the
boat.
It
also
had
fast,
reliable
internet
for
those
of
us
who
work
online.
The
marina
itself
was
very
quiet
at
night,
and
the
location
is
unbeatable.
It
is
only
minutes
by
foot
to
Parque
das
Nações
and
the
lovely
seaside
promenade,
the
Oceanarium,
the
cable
cars
(Telecabine),
dozens
of
restaurants,
and
Oriente
Train
Station.
It
offers
easy
access
to
bus
728,
which
serves
many
of
the
most
popular
tourist
destinations
in
the
city.
Additionally,
it
is
only
about
10
minutes
by
car
to
the
airport.
The
backdrop
is
the
impressive
Vasco
de
Gama
bridge,
which
itself
is
a
great
photo
opp.
The
staff
was
professional,
helpful,
and
welcoming.
They
understand
hospitality,
and
make
you
feel
like
you
are
in
the
right
place
as
soon
as
you
arrive.
I
heartily
recommend
staying
there
and
would
happily
stay
there
again
myself.
