😠 Not recommended. Access to the apartments is via a narrow staircase with a tremendous inclination. We arrived at 4 pm and no one had contacted us, the door has a lock with a key, we had to call booking and wait until they called us to give us the key. When we went up to the apartment (11) there was... People often mention apartment,

Eye!!!! They have nothing to do with the photos, I do not advise you to take them. Terrible mattresses, terrible conditions. Nothing at all advisable. We have complained and as if nothing had happened.

Not recommended. Access to the apartments is via a narrow staircase with a tremendous inclination. We arrived at 4 pm and no one had contacted us, the door has a lock with a key, we had to call booking and wait until they called us to give us the key. When we went up to the apartment (11) there was a guy still cleaning inside, we had to go eat to kill time. Carrying the suitcases up was an odyssey, you can barely fit up the stairs, the steps are very narrow and have such an inclination that you go backwards. The photos do not correspond to reality, it lacks maintenance. In the bathrooms, the shower tray is full of moisture, the bathtub is burst, the patio is neglected and dirty. The last straw is discovering that they had entered while we were away. We realized it on the second day because when we returned, in the closet where the vacuum cleaner was, there were boxes that weren't there before. The next day we left a mark on the front door and found that they had come back in. To top it off, the day we were leaving, the tenants of the apartment next door (12), a group of French people, told us that they had been robbed, when they entered a room they found the thief inside, he had entered through the balcony. To say something positive, the kitchen is well equipped with appliances.

Real different from photos. The house is located up-up-hill and lots of narrow stairs. Even worse than this other house's noise! The houses are really close just like same house so you can hear other's speech just like in your home. They have Wifi but did not work at all so could not get an internet. After going up an insanely steep hill, you have to climb dozens of stairs that are so narrow that you can't even carry your heavy suitcase for a moment, to get to your room. What's more is that it's completely adjacent to the house next door, so I can't sleep because I can hear all the conversations as if they're talking from the living room to the other room. Wi-Fi wasn’t working for one day out of three! There is Wi-Fi, but there is no Internet connection.

Photos of apartment bear no resemblance to what it actually looks like. Terrible smell, no windows, no Aircon, no sun terrace, worn out decor. A damp cave. It's a trap - Avoid at all costs.

Beautiful, clean, quaint apartment with an authentic Lisbon feel on a quiet cobblestone street in the heart of the city on tram line 28. No idea what all the complaints were about. We loved our apartment and balconies. The staff we met were polite and professional. Beds were comfortable, linens were clean. The stairs are narrow and steep so you need to be fit and healthy if you have big bags to bring inside. If you want a soulless hotel, this isn't it. If you want to feel the Lisbon city life, this is a very enjoyable place to be based.

No idea what all the negative reviews are about, this apartment is perfect for a short trip to Lisbon. Easy access to Baario Alto and the surrounding area. Fatima and Kees were great hosts and the apartment was spacious and had everything you need

Don't go!!! Regrettable. There were fleas in the bed. A blanket full of them jumping freely. We have demanded the money (with photos and videos where the fleas were perfectly visible) and they have not paid any attention to us. We put one star because there was no option of 0...
