This restaurant was a recommendation for a large group, sit down meal. I would say this restaurant is more on the luxurious side especially considering the excellent table service and staff attentiveness. We had a port and tonic prepared table-side prior to our meal as well as a plethora of desserts prepared table-side at the end of our meal. Truly a lovely dining experience. Some of the items I personally enjoyed were the Scallops from the Starters Menu and Mixed Seafood for two. I would also recommend the Mushrooms from the Starter Menu. It was difficult to decide on entrees, so our large group of 10 tried a variety of plates. You can find anything from seafood, to red meat and vegetarian options here. I would definitely recommend a reservation ahead of time regardless of group size. This restaurant is physically on the smaller side, so accommodating diners by reservation is best. The area this restaurant is located in is a walk from a main road, and I cannot speak to parking availability. So essentially plan ahead of you have to park, or consider ride-share options like an Uber or taxi to play it safe. There are steps into the restaurant, and narrow spaces, so keep this in mind for wheelchair accessibility.

An expensive restaurant with an excellent service which makes this a luxury restaurant in my opinion. The staff is very attentive to us, it was the anniversary of my father and then helped us sing happy birthday to him and gave us champagne 🥂 for free. The food was good but it took 1h30m if not more for the food to be served. Beware that the dishes for 2 persons are based on Kg. We had the seafood and fish mix, the price was 60 per kg, because we were 3, we payed 180. Overall, very happy with my night.

Very good dishes, good seafood selection, nice meat suggestions. The choice of vines has a wide range, something for everybody. Prices maybe seems to look high for Portugal, but they are absolutely fair. Friendly staff. Can really recommend this Restaurant for a fine diner-evening in a nice location. Outside on the street, where it is also quite romantic, they offer simpler menus with lower prices.

The food was absolutely amazing! Would skip the initial bread of the couture but definetly go with the olives and cheese. They are very knowledgeable about their wine and have a great cellar. The dessert cart is something special as well, instead of a dessert menu they bring out a wagon with all desserts for display and the presentation is excellent!

Not even sure where to begin. We just ate at Liboa à Noite and it was one of the best meals we’ve had in all our travels. Started with a porto cocktail that was so refreshing we ordered another round with our meals. I couldn’t decide among 3 different cod dishes, so luckily they have a cod trilogy (photo posted) which was a generous portion of each of the 3. The other entrees we ordered were likewise quite large so bring your appetite! And we managed to save just enough room to share 2 desserts for the 3 of us, which was quite challenging because there were 5 desserts we would’ve enjoyed. Absolutely exceptional from beginning to end — 5 stars isn’t nearly sufficient!

Excellent service, inspired food and great wine. The servers were also happy to make suggestions, and they were all great! It’s on the pricier side of things but if you want a special dinner, it’s absolutely worth it.

My favorite restaurant in Lisbon for the food. The goat cheese pastry appetizer was perhaps the best thing I've ever eaten, spoken as a San Francisco foodie. The whole branzino (sea bass) baked in salt was also exceptional with a little tableside flair (see pic). Service was on point and friendly. Other patrons were a mix of local, chic, and biz, which is a good upvote for this part of Lisbon.

Excellent food. All dishes were very nicely prepared, presented and most importantly really tasty! The service was very welcoming and professional. Absolutely nothing to fault. Congratulations to the entire team! I will definitely come back when visiting Lisbon and I will recommend Lisboa à Noite to my friends and family.

Located in Bairro Alto, Lisboa à Noite is the spot for a delicious meal. Reservations are suggested. This restaurant, unlike many in the neighborhood, isn’t flashy or has seats in the street. There’s vegetarian options. The dessert is brought on an extravagant cart, almost guaranteeing you’ll get something sweet.

Very nice food and atmosphere. But the best part is the friendly, professional and knowledgeable waiters. Highly recommend the place.

Excellent experience. Staff was very welcoming. The codfish was outstanding. Beautiful. And my wife got the fish curry and it was amazing. Don’t sleep on that dish. Very very good. Dessert you have to get the rice pudding. Made in small cast iron pot. Crispy edges. So damn good.

This place is incredible from beginning to end. The restaurant is beautiful, the staff are exceptional and the food was delicious! The only problem I had was that my small appetite couldn't eat more of it!

By Lisbon standards this is a very expensive restaurant, but you get what you pay for!! Make SURE you get a table in the main room. The quality of the food, the presentation, the waitstaff, everything is the best we ever had in Lisbon and we have spent lots of time there. Wish we could afford to eat every meal there, but if you have a special occasion or just want the ultimate in a luxurious, romantic dinner, this is where you need to go.

Very beautiful place in the Bario Alto, food is delicious, probably had the best bacalhao of my life (Took the dish with the three types: Com nata, assado and a bras). Waiters are very attentive to you. I really recommend this place in Lisboa!

First time in Lisbon (Lisboa), and a coworker made reservations here for four of us. The staff was impeccable! Friendly, knowledgeable, and the food presentation was stellar. If you really want to impress yourself and others, order the salt-encrusted codfish. It's a whole fish encrusted in salt and baked. It's delivered to the table flaming. The entire restaurant was looking at the table close to ours that ordered the dish. Our standouts included the curry fish and shrimp, and the grilled octopus (both pictured). I loved the desserts which include a chocolate mousse with a salted caramel drizzle and a cookie cake. Highly recommend.

We just visited this restaurant and it was amazing! The food, the service are really extraordinary. It is a best place to spend a romantic dinner. The waiters were really nice and their English was perfect. Absolute 5 star!

Wonderful food. Fantastic wine list. Excellent service (if not a little bit obsequious and over the top). A fine dining vibe without fine dining prices.

This is one of our all time favorite restaurants in Lisbon! The food is always delicious and fresh, and the service is fantastic. Highly recommend making a reservation as it can get busy during peak dinner hours. We cant wait to return next time we are in Lisbon!

Food was a strong hit or a miss. Some Portuguese fare was incredible, some of the seafood (the cod in particular) left a lot to be desired - dry, chewy, and flavorless. The service was great until the place got busier and our main orders had been placed. It is close to a 4, but didn’t live up to its 4.5 reputation.

My mother and I had a lovely evening at Lisboa a Noite. The menu had an array of options and the dishes we chose were both good with an interesting dessert made of a port based jelly with refreshing tangerine sorbet and green apple. For me, the best part of the experience was the seriousness they have about their wine offerings. The wine menu itself is quite extensive for a restaurant of this size with quality wines at an array of different price points and vintages. The sommelier was very knowledgeable and, as someone who has studied one myself, I really appreciated how well he was able to identify a wine that met my specific requests so perfectly. The 2009 Dolium Reserva had the right structure and was exactly where I wanted it in its development/drinking window. The bottle was also expertly decanted to separate the wine from the sediment that accumulated as it aged. I found their wine prices quite reasonable for what was on offer, at least the bottle prices. I didn't look at the wines per glass. The new vintage of the Dolium Reserva retails for 50 euros online in Portugal and a 13 year old bottle being sold in a restaurant for 80 seems extremely fair.

Good environment, nice staff and really good fish soup. Although the cataplana of sea food that we ordered was full of sea food, but sorry that I didn't enjoy the kind of fish in that dish. Plus, the Panacota was really tasty.

Delicious food. Reasonable size of the dishes. Professional service with very good English. The best restaurant we dined in for 10 days in Portugal. Minor negative point - thaw hall has no windows.

For those who care for a high standard of service and gastronomy. At à Noite you have little to want for. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable; ready at less than a moments notice, the service is impeccable. The food is held to a very high standard and matches the expectation of a high-end establishment. The menu, as well as the presentation is on the ‘classic’ end of the culinary spectrum but that is not to say it is any less. Just be aware that saying yes to the offer of bread, olives and a welcome drink will set you back 50+ EUR; which was tasteful but in my opinion not worth it. Ambiance of the venue itself was less than the overal experience. With appetizers, a main course, desert and a bottle of wine we paid upward of 280 €.

A great dining experience from start to finish. They don't open until 7:30 when we had a reservation but when we arrived 20 minutes early they graciously sat us immediately. They bring you olives, bread and cheese to start and are very good to let you know they cost extra. We declined the cheese but kept the bread and olives (3.90 euro per person) which were delicious - it was a generous portion and we did not even finish them. The gazpacho was so fresh tasting. The grilled grouper was very good and a large portion with nice grilled vegetables and potatoes. The tagliatelle with shrimp and clams was also delicious and had a lot of clams and shrimp in it. The setting is beautiful and service is great.

We went there with my friend for her birthday, and we loved it. The food was very good, with good portion. I was expecting a high price but as I come from London, it actually looked really affordable in comparison haha! The staff was very friendly and took care of us really well. We really recommend this place if you want to celebrate a birthday or bring your partner there for a cute date.
