Wonderful prix fixe lunch for 10 euro: delicious pea soup, huge portion of hake with spinach, caramelized onions, and potatoes, followed by a lovely fruitcake like dessert. Nom!

Discovered this local cuisine gem nestled amongst a lot of overrated restaurants in the area. The food is spectacular. I had the soup of the day ( spinach ) and some slow cooked pork shoulder filled with a mixture of bread, vegetables and pork meat. With some of the best potatoes chips on the side. Parabens !

Was für ein Glück - wir wohnten direkt in der Nähe und haben nach einem guten Restaurant gesucht. Ohne Google wären wir wahrscheinlich nicht auf dieses urige, aber delikate Restaurant gekommen. Die vorherigen Bewertungen waren wirklich nicht übertrieben…und der Besitzer ist unglaublich zuvorkommend und freundlich. Wer also richtig toll und lecker essen will, der kommt hierher!

Small resto serving Portuguese food within walking distance (2 minutes) from our hotel. There are only a few seats available in front, and there were few other customers for dinner on a weekday. Octopus and risotto were excellent, so was the codfish mille feuilles. Beautiful building, quiet, romantic atmosphere. Good local wine list.

Delicious food, particularly the boneless duck leg and plate of cheese. Very friendly service, in a small scale excellent price/quality place. Recommend making a reservation. Would go back any time.

Excellent food and attentive service. Inspired menu offering local favorites with modern touches. Roasted Octopus was perfectly season. Sardine chop and fillet was good with the warm pepper salad. Try to get one of the few seats in front room if not, back is fun too. Would recommend.

Small dining area, about ten tables. Service was excellent, very attentive. Food was good, very rustic feel. We had the rabbit in meatballs and boneless duck leg, bread with chorizo flavored olive oil and jam to start.

This is a fantastic gem of a restaurant! Hands down our best meal of the trip. Local, creative, superbly delicious. We learned about Marcos and his fantastic restaurant from friends who had lived in Lisboa. We feel so lucky to have eaten here! Marcos knows his wine so let him choose the pairings for you. We stumbled upon this wonderful, local restaurant shortly after arriving into Lisbon. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! It was close to closing (near 22:00) but we were welcomed in and never rushed to leave. The food was top notch and atmosphere cozy. Get the shrimp wrapped in potato appetizer. And the white bean stew with squid, mussels, and clams was amazing. And the host recommended the best white wine pairing. Very reasonably priced.

Wonderful food at great prices! I had the Azoran beef with a delicious cream sauce & fries. My companions had the deep fried shrimp/bean soup and it too looked amazing. I had the chocolate trinity for dessert and it packed a punch of flavor without unnecessary sugar. Service was attentive and friendly, and our server was very knowledgeable about which wines would go best with our mains. An absolutely lovely evening.

I came here with family, and the service was great. Didn’t feel rushed and the atmosphere had a local Portuguese twist. The food was delicious. Especially the lamb chops and the chorizo olive oil. Definitely a must see!
