Stayed in room 408 for 5 days Location was perfect to all must see places Rooms are Nice clean and spacious (see photos) Hotel staff did accommodate a room switch because my safe did not work and my room was on the second floor very close to the street and my room could be easily climbed in thru the window. I did have a problem with the service at the bar on day 3 after receiving excellent service on day2. At first it was a party of about eight ppl and me, about 30 minutes at my arrival another couple came. I ordered my food and received it fairly quickly. This is where the trouble began. I sat in my table for about an hour before anyone checked in to see how my meal was going or to ask if I needed anything, water or cocktail…etc After I finished eating I spoke with a manager and told him I was disappointed with my service and u felt ignored as i watched him, along with two other servers wait hand and feet on 10 white people and i was the only person of color at the bar. This is when he told me that no one came over to me because I was texting on my phone and “I look like I did not want to be bothered”which is a lousy excuse for poor service and ignoring a customer. I spoke with the hotel manager the very next day and told him exactly what happened. He was very kind to me and apologized for the bar managers actions. After a day out of touring the city, I came in my room to a hand written apology note from the hotel manager.

I wouldn’t stay here with a friend again as the glass surrounding the shower and bathroom provides no privacy (even the showers in the gym area provide no privacy). However the location was good, room size reasonable, gym was adequate and the staff were lovely. The breakfast was at the more basic end of the scale.

Great hotel, quiet and cozy. The rooms with the jacuzzi are the best. Is really rewarding to get back into the room after a long day walking through the heat and relax in your room in the jacuzzi before dinner or before going to bed. Really great selection of breakfast with cold and hot food, fresh fruit and juice. Lovely personnel. Great lounging area with a bar, projector for games and pool table.

The staff were very welcoming and responded well to our requests. Room was clean and comfortable. One member of staff, by the bar would even speak in Hindi to us and he was very helpful.

The hotel is stunning from the moment you walk in, a serene blissful walk to the reception and the staff are nice. I love the hot tub and sauna but was disappointed that the steam room was not functioning. There are road works outside the hotel so taxis canot take you right to the door, there were there in May 2023 on my first visit, and still there in December 2023 when I went back. The hotel is less central but the walk is pleasent. The rooms are comfortable, the shower is semi open so couples are friends..be warned if you're sharing rooms :)

Great hotel with the best staff! I read on here prior to staying at the hotel that the staff members make the stay unforgettable, and we were able to confirm this: at reception, in the restaurant and in the spa the staff was so welcoming and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay despite the hotel overall feeling a bit dated. The gym and the spa are definitely the best features of the hotel.

One of the best hotels I've stayed at! The room we stayed in was pretty small but very cute. The shower was incredible! The service and location were the best. Note that the lights are pretty dim, especially in the bathroom so might be difficult to see for anyone with trouble seeing in the dark.

We have booked this hotel for 2 nights. The location is perfect - you are in middle of Lisboa. There is also a parking garage next to the hotel (if there is a free space in the hotel guessts spot - you will get a free parking spot, if not then you have to park in public area). Breakfast was okay, but I would wish for more diversity. The staff was really helpful and friendly, rooms were clean.

We spent a night at Inspira Suite (with dinner and breakfast) and it was wonderful experience. The hotel room was gorgeous, spacious and the bed felt great. The staff provided a truly memorable experience. They were very professional, warm, and took care of all of our necessities. Dinner was great, with the following aspects standing out: service was fast; the restaurant had a varied menu (e.g., vegetarian options); the dishes had good presentation; the restaurant staff provided excellent recommendations (special thanks to Duarte and Maria for the lovely service). For breakfast we had a buffet we could choose from as well as some menu options. The food was, once again, great, and the buffet had plenty of options, including a lot of dairy free alternatives, which was a plus. The spa was excellent, with beautiful settings and professionals that delivered a truly relaxing experience. Overall, the stay was 10/10 and I can’t wait to visit again!

Staff is friendly, helpful and delivers fast service across the board. The food is excellent: great breakfast buffet and the brasserie delivers as well. The chef is passionate and even offered an extra while eating there. The spa is great too. Great hotel!

Loved this hotel. Great location. The staff was incredibly nice, the room very clean and comfortable and breakfast was really good! I’ll definitely go back there if I visit Lisboa again!

Friendly staff, modern stylish place in a good location off Av Liberdade. Water temp in the bathtub was amazing. However, I picked this hotel specifically because it has a spa with jacuzzi, and when I went to use it, it was barely lukewarm (31 degrees). The staff was confused and calling a repairman and something about a law that it can’t be very hot?! 🤷‍♀️ What a disappointment, especially because I chose this hotel over one a few blocks away that had a MUCH larger room and washer dryer and full apartment conveniences. That was the other downside; the room was quite small—nowhere to open a suitcase, and the closet door doubles as the bathroom door which is not very convenient to slide back and forth all the time. Also the “automatic” lighting is a bit challenging in the night if you just want to turn on the light in the toilet—there are no switches anywhere. The breakfast was so-so.

What a beautiful hotel away from the crowds but still within easy reach of all the sights. Lovely friendly staff always ready to help. Our room was spotlessly clean and had such a comfortable bed and pillows. Plenty of towels/robes and even slippers. Would most certainly stay here again. Oh and Lisbon is beyond stunning. Thank you!

Hotel looks stunning from the entrance, the foyer and bar area are lovely, with beautiful object d'arts everywhere and a table with jars of sweets to help yourself. The rooms not so great, small, with the glass walled bathroom, which is not to my taste, and the corridors quite dark and weird. However the rooms were well stocked with water, wine etc. I ate a bar snack of veggie burger and chips in the night, which was very good, well presented and the bar staff were lovely. The service in the breakfast restaurant was very slow. Waited in a queue for almost 10 minutes to be seated and waited 15 minutes for tea, after asking 3 times - the restaurant wasn't even busy, could do better but I'm assuming they were short of staff. Location - perfect!

The staff makes it special. Every touchpoint was met with wonderful service from check-in to the spa manager. Monica and Christiana from the spa were incredible. Some of the best service we've ever had and an incredible amount of kindness.

Stayed in Lisbon for a few nights at the Lisbon wine hotel, then went to the Algarves and then came back to Lisbon for one night and stayed here Our first hotel was a lot better. This hotel has a nice lobby and location is fine, but the rooms are a problem. Stayed on the 2nd floor, loft room with very high ceilings - AC essentially did not work. Room was extremely hot with no air circulation making it difficult to sleep. On top of that mattress very hard and sheets rough.

Beautiful rooms, but some strange attempt at futuristic makes them a bit frustrating. Keycard is used to turn on lights and TVs and A/C. Couldn’t get certain things to work and there wasn’t a workaround. Service was hit or miss. Certain folks were incredibly kind while others a bit annoyed, which is an odd disposition for the first person you see working at the hotel. Our room was late to be ready and the service was not accommodating. Also mentioned the broken TV at one point but they did not offer any help. On the other hand, when we needed a wine opener they were more than happy to help, but that was technically someone from the restaurant (all the servers and hosts at the restaurant were wonderful). One other odd nuance is the hotel and spa do not necessarily work together, which is odd. The spa is amazing by the way, but don’t expect the hotel to work with the spa in coordinating spa services and check-in times. Location is good, not great. I’d maybe stay again, but there’s a good chance I’d look elsewhere if visiting Lisbon again.

My husband and I spent 4 nights at this beautiful hotel. The staff took great care of us, we were upgraded to a suite (thank you, Junior!) and we enjoyed terrific massages and the spa. The jacuzzi could be a little hotter but we enjoyed the steam and sauna. The front desk staff are so accommodating (I believe Marjory is her name- fantastic!) and we felt very taken care of. Thank you for making our stay totally delightful! Have already recommended to friends.

Good hotel. Good location. Biggest issue was with crazy designer shower. Walk in shower water leaked over bathroom floor and splashed counter tops everytime. Would not drain completely and as a result left a 1 1/2 m by 1/2m pool of water after every shower. This pool did not go away and made for a humid muggy room. As a result I had trouble sleeping durring my stay. Regarding staff. I agree with previous review some staff fantastic some seemed a little unfriendly.

A great surprise near Av. da Liberdade and Sta. Marta hospital. This is truly a hidden gem within Lisbon. I fully recommend you consider this place to stay and enjoy this central part of the city. The staff is very welcoming and super professional. The venue and its rooms are always in mint condition. It is truly amazing and commendable. Should be a reference to any hotel in Europe and beyond (I've been in Miami, NY, Athens, Vienna, Prague, Amsterdam, Lyon, Barcelona, Porto, Coimbra (among others) through this year, and without a doubt Inspira Liberdade was the best kept infrastructure and best staff I had the pleasure to meet so far. Sorry for the long post, but it is all worth mentioning. Keep it up!

Had a fantastic weekend here recently. Room and staff were fantastic. Nicest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in. We stayed in a suite with a bath. Breakfast was excellent too. Will absolutely return in the future.

Our 3 day stay at the Inspira Liberdade Hotel was very comfortable. Hotel was clean, quiet, and friendly staff that was very helpful. Location is great. Central to a lot of places with public transportation nearby. Would definitely come back!

We love this place! Staff is really nice and helpful. Rooms are clean and nicely set. The breakfast offers you exactly what you to need to handle a busy day. Location is in close proximity to city life. You have access to the city and it is still in a peaceful place for an undisturbed sleep.

The worst customer service experience I've ever had. I had booked the jacuzzi suite and the first one was broken (leaked), hence they moved me to another room. There the electricity was broken and the minibar warm etc. After this was turned on also the jacuzzi here didn't work (bubbles). The front desk told me I would only have to pay for a normal room and at the check-out no one seemed to know about that and apparently someone checked and the jacuzzi worked (about which I was not informed). Then they wanted to expense me my massage which never happened. Since I was in a rush I had to leave and didn't even receive my invoice until today. I would much appreciate to receive at least this.

Fantastic Hotel. We spent a few days here and couldn't be happier. They have their own parking garage connected to the hotel and the use is included in the rate of room. The rooms are spacious and well lit. For myself the bed was perfect and I slept extremely well. The breakfast was very good, as well. A big shout out to the staff, who is highly motivated. The first day we preordered the vegan option and in the morning they served us insane amounts of food. It felt a bit like they looked what they had and served us anything that was vegan, even when it wasn't really 'breakfast food'. We felt really bad that we couldn't even finish half of it and the next days we didn't order that option because even the normal buffet has a decent selection of vegan options. The only bad thing about the breakfast was the terrible coffee, that at one day, tasted and looked like weak tea. Without telling anyone the staff realized how we reacted to the coffee, rushed to our seats and and were eager to serve us fresh, excellent coffee from the kitchen. I can't overstate how excellent the staff was. From start to beginning each and every one of them seemed to genuinely happy and proud to work at the hotel. One day, at the breakfast again, the kitchen was understaffed and you could tell that the personal had issues to keep up with the work. Within minutes people from the front desk rushed to the breakfast area and started helping their colleges until the situation was under control... And it goes on like this. I really hope the management is aware of how lucky they are to have staff like this. Because of their dedicated work situations like the ones described above didn't taint the excellent experience we had. Thank you, if possible I definitely come again

Gd awful bed! Had to change rooms and still could feel every spring in the mattress. billed as a boutique hotel but dirty carpet and a kinda cheap in style from the floors up . Also even though I asked a few times my only choice was a room that is flush with the street/ like a store front. Very uncomfortable. Either I’d have to seal the window shades and be plunged into darkness or change while anyone walking by could see me … not ok! The staff was all very nice . And having a spa also but it’s low end for sure ( stayed in a hostel with better beds than here..)

Reasonably priced, beautiful lobby/bar/lounge, sauna and steam room included, staff was very accommodating and gave a complimentary bottle of champagne for our anniversary.

I’m glad I stayed here. The location is great. Close enough to everything but far enough from noisy streets. Lots great food near by. Bruno was Great at check in. Pedro was super friendly and great concierge service. Overall stall were friendly, greeted people and were attentive. The sheet are soft and love the towels. I used the sauna almost every day. Nice and hot after a 8.5 miles / 13km of waking a day.

Excellent service from the front desk to the room service personnel. Breakfast served is good, although a little over regular prices. Spa has a very good professional therapeutic massousse - Madalena. Vegetable soup is a good call for a night meal.

Modern and relaxing vibe, very attentive hotel staff. Open access spa (sauna, steam room and jacuzzi) not “fancy looking” but performing great. Excellent breakfast, variety and quality, that puts American hotels to shame

Extremely friendly front desk staff with decent English. Decent location. Somewhat pricey for Lisbon with small rooms. Breakfast is good and modestly priced (15€/pp), through fixed every day. Very strange lighting system in rooms that makes simple things like turning on the bathroom lights super confusing and likely to accidentally turn on ALL the lights. Sliding door in the suite that is almost impossible to open from the inside (fire hazard!). Delightfully dark blackout shutters. Ok but not super fast internet. Can't charge electronics while away from the room due to card-slot system.

This is a generous 2 star review due to the lovely male receptionist who welcomed us. This in my opinion is not a 4 star hotel. The breakfast is really mediocre with few options (eg one type of juice and two types of cereal, few hot options). The service is ok but we were regularly on hold when dialling reception and the language barrier meant communicating our needs in English was always difficult. They had a mini bar with no price list and exorbitant prices which we only knew about when we enquired (7 euros for a small bottle of wine displayed as a welcome gift) 😂. We had no hot water for one night and morning (half our stay) making the jacuzzi in our room and shower pointless. They did apologise and offer a gesture but only after I complained and got really angry. I really love Lisbon but in the future won’t pay 400+ euros a night to stay in a suite here. Positives were the size of the room, full length mirror and safe but I think this is normal for a 4 star hotel.

My husband and I have stayed at approx 50 hotels in the last few months and without a doubt this is one of our favorites. From the moment we parked the car at the hotel and met the parking lot attendant (who was hilarious), we were taken care of. We were very pleased with the excellent service received by all the staff. Whether they worked reception, in the restaurant or housekeeping, all were extremely friendly, always smiling, helpful and funny. A special thank you to Rita, Fabio and Rui. Each one assisted us, whether it was directions, restaurant recommendations, Portuguese translation or computer issues. We were so grateful for their help. The hotel itself is beautiful. I especially liked, what I call, the stairway to heaven (the walk up to the spa). Our room was lovely. We loved the location and the breakfast was excellent. But as most people would agree, it's the staff and the customer service that make a hotel worth going back to. We would definitely go back to this hotel.

It was my second time at inspira, headed there for the yearly lisbon visit. Completely satisfied and impressed by the staff and their great service, the awesome breakfast but most importantly the SPACIOUS rooms. Nowhere else in lisbon I have seen such great rooms with a dedicated work desk. The location is also great!

Very green. Has gluten free options BUT NOT on any kind of written list or menu. Have to rely on questions to waiters. ( Great staff very eager to please. ) No breakfast foods labelled gluten free so a coeliac may be missing out on some of the lovely foods available due to lack of same. Very fine range of breakfast foods for regular hotel guests but coeliac are very limited. Yougarts and cold meats had no labels so couldn't determine wete they gluten free or not same with cheeses. Very put out by lack of shower curtains for privacy in shower. I would not book room without a private shower option again. First time to find such an arrangement. Room lighting very dim even when all fully switched on. Kettle supplied but only two black tea sachets and no milk. Also no shower gel replenishment each day. Correction we thought shower gel was a sticker on glass frame it was there all the time.

The superior room has window view on a wall of the hospital 2 meters from it. The bathhroom is absent - you have just a part of a glass wall separating the shower and the toilet behind from the room, so privacy level is close to zero. The hotel is 30 minutes walking distance from the very centre (river). Absolute dissapointment for this price. .

It was a lovely stay this past weekend! The room was super clean with lovely amenities. It was for my birthday and the gentleman at the front desk was kind to leave me a small cake. The hotel is located right at the center. There are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. The spa was amazing, I had a facial and my husband got a massage. The spa employees were welcoming and super professional. Thank you all for your hospitality.
