If I could give them more stars I would! I loved my room and the breakfast was incredible! It kept me full until 3. The places is super super clean which is what’s most important to me. The front desk ladies are so sweet and caring! They held my luggage while I waited to be checked in. Shout out to Anna for being so patient. I loved it and would give it 10 stars.

The location is perfect, close to many points of interest (perfect to visit Winter Wonderland). Spacious room, fits 3 people perfectly (double room with sofa bed). Has a kettle, a minibar, a safe and a tv with many channels. Visiting during winter: very warm room, even with the cold outside, didn't connect the heating. Many options for breakfast: cereal, scrambled/boiled eggs, ham, cheese, yogurt, pastries, a pancake machine (making fresh pancakes). The street is noisy, but closing the balcony solves it. The lobby area has a very interesting design and is comfortable to stay until your departure.

Our room was a little shabby and smelled awful. They had sprayed some sort of heavy floral scent to cover someone smoking and it was bad. The view was nice and it was fun to have a little balcony overlook. The downside was even on the second floor the street noise is very loud all night. The upside of this hotel was the incredible breakfast. Honestly- it was one of the best looking and tasting continental breakfast we’ve ever seen. The staff was all very nice and the location can’t be beat. I

Great breakfast and super close to the subway and we even walked to downtown to get a sense of the neighbourhood. Check in was easy and being a Club member allowed for a 2pm check out if available. Stayed Oct 20th and did not find it busy and front desk was always available. Water and Ice is available in the lobby but we just used the water in our room for drinking. The bathroom and shower are smaller than some but no problems for one person. Hot water was good and so was the pressure on the 6th floor.

The hotel is very nice and service in the hotel is . Now the 20 Euro ride almost to the airport very very very disappointed. Driver shows up 10 min late still half a sleep in sandals and shorts at 7 am. Drops us off close to the terminal and the two of us had to walk with 4 suitcases to the terminal because that is what is done with all costumers . I should have asked at the front desk for a ride to the terminal 1 not to the airport . Very very disappointed

Hotel is great, except for the main reason you are there- Sleeping. The room temperatures are centrally controlled. It’s only heat available during colder months. This makes it very hot and stuffy in the rooms. You can open the door/wjndow, but then road traffic and the constant beeping of the crosswalk signals will keep you up all night. This would literally be a great hotel, except for this one major issue. I would never stay there again until they get rid of centrally controlled heating/air conditioning. I have stayed three times, every time we have the same recurring issue. Never again.

This is a very old hotel but does the job, with clean rooms and bathrooms. My room had a little fridge in it which came in handy. The breakfast wasn't great though a varied selection, the best part of breakfast was the fresh sweet melon and pineapple 😋 and it can get very busy. The staff are the highlight for me, everyone I encountered was friendly and helpful.

Fabulous experience at this hotel. The beds were very comfortable, two pillow options (soft and firm) which we really appreciated, quiet rooms. Best sleep of our entire trip. Breakfast had great variety and location was excellent. Would stay here again.

Did not use the hotel just went to visit some guests that were staying there. Staff could pay more attention to guests and be more polite. It's only a 3 stars hotel but customer experience should always be a top priority either you are guest or just visiting. Location is good and parking is available nearby.

What a find this hotel was. Lovely modern hotel with courtyard in central area. Clean rooms and fantastic breakfast. Little chocolate doughnuts for breakfast. Small bar, but has the essentials. Friendly staff. Usual IHG standards. Acknowledgement of Spire status. Definitely stay here again.

The only good thing about the place is the location, it’s quite central and you can walk to most sights in Lisbon. Rooms though are in good shape, the carpets are stained and the bathrooms are quite small. There’s hardly any space to go in and out of the shower. The hotel controls the temperature centrally and had their AC turned off and with temperatures hovering around 20’s, it was difficult to sleep in the room without opening the windows and nobody during checking informed us about that. It was only after we called concierge, they let us know of that. Of the 5 days we were there, we could hardly get any sleep because of the noise outside. The breakfast is meh… the same thing every day with no variety

Enjoyed the friendly and bilingual customer service. The breakfast was great and kitchen staff were friendly. The room was similar to any Express accomodations. I would definitely stay again if I could.

Very positive experience. Rooms are clean and the breakfast cafeteria is generous and complete. We loved our stay at this Holiday Express hotel. Highly recommended.

Check in staff were professional but didn’t seem too friendly. Breakfast buffet had a good selection including nata. Rooms were nice and relatively clean. No AC, I guess they don’t turn it on until summer (I was there in Mar). We had three people and I got the sofa bed. It was not comfortable but the people on the bed had no issues. Location was a bit far from the main sights.

The hotel is quite cheap and the price is adequate to the quality – room was small and nothing special, but clean. The location is excellent for walking sightseeing and near to the very nice restaurants, but next to busy and loud street, which was too much for me. Breakfast place is more like cafeteria, than a restaurant, but there were nice choice of bread/pastries, nice toaster (where you can heat up bread rolls and pasties too) and a wide range of fruit (which we really appreciated

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Holiday Inn Express Lisbon - Ave. Liberdade, and I can confidently say that it was a remarkable experience from start to finish. First and foremost, the hotel's location on Ave. Liberdade is superb. It provided easy access to the vibrant heart of Lisbon, allowing me to explore the city's attractions with great convenience. The avenue itself is filled with shops, restaurants, and a lively atmosphere, making it a fantastic base for discovering the charms of Lisbon. The hotel staff deserves special recognition for their exceptional service. From the warm welcome at check-in to their attentiveness throughout my stay, they consistently went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience. They were always available to offer recommendations, provide directions, or assist with any requests, creating a welcoming and accommodating atmosphere. The rooms at Holiday Inn Express Lisbon - Ave. Liberdade were well-appointed and provided all the amenities I needed for a pleasant stay. They were clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, allowing for a restful night's sleep after a day of exploring the city. The complimentary breakfast served each morning was a highlight. The wide variety of options, including both hot and cold dishes, ensured there was something to suit every palate. The quality and freshness of the food were commendable, and it provided a great start to the day. Overall, my experience at Holiday Inn Express Lisbon - Ave. Liberdade was outstanding. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lisbon, whether for business or leisure. The convenient location, attentive staff, and comfortable accommodations make it an excellent choice. I look forward to returning on my next visit to this beautiful city. Thank you, Holiday Inn Express Lisbon - Ave. Liberdade, for providing a memorable stay.

The hotel rooms needs some upgrading, location is not the best if you want to cover the main attractions. The service at front desk staff was very poor, refused to accommodate even 1 hour early check-in. The worst was the breakfast area, they literally chased me and another person for getting a coffee at 6:55 AM. We had daily tours starting after 7 AM and they just didn't want to be inside before 7 AM. The hospitality just died there at the hotel, better places to stay for that price.

Overall experience was very good. The location is great, you can walk to all the landmarks or take public transportation (Metro station or bus stops are just next to the hotel). The breakfast was good and tasty and the area was very well manage. Thanks to staff there. Also The front desk staff was very helpful and polite. The rooms were comfrotable and clean, not too big but our room was ok for us, me my wife and our daughter. Travel tip: get the Lisboa card, it's very useful for public transportation and you can visit some museum for free and get discount in others.

Nice room, quiet, good bed & shower, refrigerator in room. Negatives: -No parking, nearby 16 Euro/day -Breakfast was not very interesting; limited fresh fruit, coffee not very good. 21 days in Portugal, 10 hotels, the Holiday was least interesting breakfast. -No linen change service, and cleaning service is slow -not much to do in immediate area. But Metro is nearby

Nice simple hotel. Booked 2 rooms with x2 single beds which were slightly on the smaller side. Clean rooms and no complaint. The lobby is very quirky and different to many hotels which was a pleasant surprise. I felt the breakfast was limited in options compared to previous holiday inns which I have stayed in the UK.

My mother and I stayed here and we enjoyed our room. It was the right size for the two of us. We appreciated the breakfast buffet as well. The staff were very helpful and kind, they made check-in and check-out easy. The location was perfect too. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Very nice hotel, the rooms are quite nice and cozy, you have instant coffee and tea in your room and bathroom was very clean. All you need to spend some nights and better when compared to other hotels of same brand. It is very close to city center and close to public transportations. Avoid to take the car since parking is not easy. The breakfast is very good and with quite a lot of options, you will even have the "pastel de nata" to make you even happier. I do recommend this hotel if you are staying in Lisbon, the price is good when compared to other hotel in same area

Hugo at the front desk was most accommodating. What ever we needed was provided including an electric converter for the American plug to the Euro plug. Breakfast facilities were great and had many options for an included breakfast. 😀

The rooms are nice, modern, and very tidy. You feel quite at home. The bathroom houses a comfortably large shower. The bar is included in the reception. The green internal Jugendstil staircase in the atrium of the building looks cool. I guess it might be an old fire escape. The rest of the building is just functional.

Very good experience here overall. Clean and modern rooms, comfortable beds. The room was quiet and I was not disturbed during the night. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable about the local area. Only 4 stars as the breakfast let the hotel down, very minimal and not a lot of choice, although what little was on offer was of reasonable quality.

After a power outage which took several hrs to restore, the wifi was down for 2 days. Front desk apparently was asked about it a lot and did not like that as they were rather curt in their answers that it wasn't working in the rooms and they couldn't tell you when it would be working again.

A normal hotel, nothing special, but clean and comfortable. The views of the city and Tajo river from our room on the top floor were magnificent. Breakfast mediocre with not so good Pastel de Nata available. Plus it’s just a couple of meters away from subway station.
