This
hotel
was
centrally
located
within
the
charming
neighborhood
of
Alfama.
Although
it
is
important
to
note
that
your
driver
cannot
take
you
to
your
door,
the
street
is
blocked
and
you’ll
have
to
walk
about
a
block
up
to
hill
to
the
hotel.
The
staff
were
friendly
and
very
helpful.
We
decided
to
pass
on
the
breakfast
since
it
was
only
cold
items
and
didn’t
look
really
appetizing.
The
biggest
thing
that
stood
out
to
me
was
that
the
design
and
overall
look
of
the
hotel
was
a
bit
tired.
It
looks
like
they
made
an
effort
with
the
design,
but
just
didn’t
quite
get
there…
with
a
few
misses
in
the
details.
The
wall
sconces
had
the
cheap
paper
shades,
the
tub,
shower,
faucets,
and
furnishings
were
not
high
end.
Looking
at
the
furniture
it
felt
like
they
bought
the
bed,
nightstands,
desk,
and
fridge
cabinet
from
the
same
exact
collection
-
matchy
matchy.
And
the
chairs
and
side
table
in
the
sitting
area
from
another
-
also
matchy
matchy.
The
heat
or
air
ran
the
entire
time,
the
fridge
didn’t
get
very
cool,
and
there
were
stains
on
the
carpeting.
