This is not a 4-star hotel as advertised on Google. We stayed here as a family of 3 for two nights. It is a poorly managed apartment building with an unprofessional manager. The apartments are old, with soiled furniture and outdated bathrooms that have drainage problems. The sink or toilet in our unit was leaking and no one fixed it after we reported it. We requested breakfast, and not only did it not arrive, the manager was very unprofessional and unapologetic. The sink in the kitchen is behind cabinets which is completely ridiculous as it never gets a chance to dry. The AC leaks as well and drips all over the floor. The management advertised washers as part of the units and there were no washers to be found. One manager even said that those were just stock photos from the internet. This is a very mediocre establishment and I do not advise anyone to stay here as even the location is inconvenient and not conducive to sightseeing.

It’s great for the location, however bathroom is dated and be prepared to climb tiny stairs up and down multiple times per day. There was a strange unpleasant smell in our room. Breakfast is not worth it in our opinion. We could have got the same at the supermarket for way less. We have seen the same bread and items at the nearby supermarket at a very cheap price. Overall the location is great and we still enjoyed staying so rated 3 stars.

Good location in Bairro Alto, area surrounded by many fabulous restaurants and shops. Corner shop(grocery Mini Preco) just behind the corner. Lovely small single room, bedside table, table&chair, armchair, hanger for clothes, kettle with tea and coffee. It was clean and the cleaning was provided on daily basis. Friendly and helpful staff!

Very good, helpful and friendly service with some nice extra's upon arrival. A very cozy and safe location, a lot to do in the neighbourhood and they give out a map at the reception with all the things you can do. We had some trouble finding it but just 1 call and we were helped. The room was very good, good kitchen, amazing bed, stunning view! We had some trouble with our lock, it was difficult to open te door from the outside. For the rest, this is an amazing stay and I would deffinitly recommend if you stay in Lisbon for a while!

Absolutely horrible, lack of professionalism and don't care for the guests. I've made a reservation weeks ago, got the confirmation email, they also contcated me on the day of arrival asking what time I'd like to check in. At around 12pm they called me to say they didn't have a room for me anymore!! How can you do that to some at a very last minute, on the day of arrival?? I had the most stressful day trying to solve the issue cause by your team.

What a beautiful & boutique hotel amidst this residential neighborhood. An old building converted into this charming walk up guest house is one of the recent additions to their guest houses and perfect location to live and experience like a local. Neighborhood is quiet, safe, walk friendly (mind you the hills, it's Lisboa after all) and easily accessible by train, busses and tram. Steps from some of the nicest restaurants and bars in the area as well as the Botanical garden, Santa Catarina viewpoint and Lisbon Amoreias 360°. Absolutely loved it. My room was small but then I booked a single occupancy. And the hostess who checked me in was the sweetest and very helpful, I don't wanna butcher her spelling so I'll not try it.

We stayed here twice in a fortnight. The second time with a group of friends not knowing that there were three guesthouses all very close to each other. Initially we were apprehensive about it thinking we'd all be in the same place but in the end, it was absolutely for the best. Located around the super cool and happening little green space of Jardim Fialho de Almeida, this is a great little pocket within the city with a life and vibe of its own. There's just so much happening literally right at your doorstep. The transfer from the airport (from former employees of the guest house) could not have gone any better. Especially at 1:15am!! A quick check in process and off to our rooms which were clean and cool! (July is hot) with plenty of room for our luggage, The bathrooms were bright and hospital grade clean and fully supplied with soap, shampoo and conditioner. The linen is crisp and clean; perfect. The house keepers are friendly too. Bottom line; would I stay here again? I wouldn't stay anywhere else!!

Loving that I made this selection for my trip. I was stressing check in but it’s actually on the corner and the units line the street. The young woman was super nice and helpful. She went over best transportation routes to each area then helped me bring my bag up. (Not a place for those who can’t do stairs- unsure if they have an no stair required units). The stairs and hall are narrow by American standards (donut box for reference). Great location, nice size space that far exceeds what a hotel room would be. Still in my stay window but if anything goes ary I will update.

Great location at the Principe real area. Surrounded by tons of restaurants, bars and very close to everywhere. Perfect location if you want to be able to walk everywhere. Service is amazing — they provided very useful info for restaurants, public transportation and such. The units are charming, but I want to point out two things — the shower in the bathroom is a bit difficult to control the temperature. I figured it out but the water is really quite hot. I don’t suggest to spend extra and get the room with balcony unless if you are smoker. It’s extra tiny and somewhat uncomfortable to sit out there. The property is also located in the middle of the LGBTQ neighborhood. So it’s easy walk after bar hopping. I enjoyed my stay very much, and will come back!

Very bad experience. The room was so small that I could not move from one side of the bed to the other side. The toilet was kinda in the basement. They don't change towels or make bed. The upstair neighbors were so loud that I couldn't sleep till 3am.

Nice people, beautiful and quiet place (The stairs are exiguous, but there is a first floor, and the head housemaid loves to speak very loud :-p)

The worst place we stayed in Portugal. The room was small and stunk like mold. We couldn't even open the bathroom door without gagging from the smell. I would avoid this out dated dirty hotel.

Lovely place, super cute rooms with everything you need and VERY soft sheets. Great service, rooms tidied everyday. The area is also wonderful, quite but next to the beautiful Flores square. Fully recommend, especially if you're a couple looking for moderately priced but splendidly decorated accommodation next to beautiful things and wonderful restaurants. ( In the first night we made several wonderful friends and learnt lots of useful information from a waiter whose English was better than my boyfriend's! . . Shhh don't tell him!

What a gem of a find. We loved our stay at this "boutique" guest house in Lisbon. Well situated for exploring Lisbon. Very clean rooms with a continental style breakfast delivered to your room in the morning. I recommend eating breakfast in the roof garden area. A fantastic & refreshing way to start the day. All staff were extremely friendly at all times and we loved our stay at the Flores guest house. Thank you to everyone at Flores. We hope to see you all again soon.

The Flores Guest House is an amazing hotel which made our trip to Lisbon absolutely amazing. The staff is very friendly, professional and always eager to help out in case of questions. The hotel is about 5 to 10 minutes walking distance from metro station Rato. The main street (Rossio station) is about 15 minutes walking distance from the hotel. We rarely used the metro as the walking distance is definitely doable. Also important, there are many lovely restaurants nearby the hotel’s vicinity. The rooms are quite nice and the breakfast is absolutely amazing. There's a coffee machine + water boiler in your room, perfect to compliment your breakfast. The bathroom is a little bit small, but it is definitely ok. The reason I have given 4 stars instead of 5 is related to below con’s: My partner and I did not have a two-persons bed, but there were two beds put next to each other. This was not ideal ofcourse. Next to that, the beds were not very comfortable. The second con has more to do with the bathroom: We had a strong sewer smell coming out of the shower, which is most likely because of the rain (We stayed here in December). Luckily we could just leave the bathroom window open and the door closed, which solved it for us. Even though there were two minor criticisms, I would highly recommend the Flores Guest House. We absolutely loved it.

Everything was amazing. Clean rooms, dishes and bed sheets. Had an amazing view from the balcony. The only thing bathroom sewage smelled bad but if you close the doors it is fine.

Amazing experience. Perfect location, very close to the center of Lisbon. The rooms had an amazing view of the city. The services provided by Mateu and Henrique were absolutely phenomenal. Both were very kind and helped us navigate through the city. They also speak perfect Spanish, English, Portuguese and French. I will be sure to recommend this place to everyone I know of they want to come to visit Lisbon.
