IT'S PLAGED WITH BEDBUGS! Avoid going. In the morning I noticed that they were on the sheets and today, a day later, my body is full of bites. Beyond that, it is impossible to rest well since the bathrooms and showers do not have a general door, so noises can be heard and light enters every time someone showers or goes to the bathroom. There is no ventilation and there is a permanent smell of fish coming from the kitchen of the bar below. The wall is full of moisture. Luckily I only spent one night there but although it is very cheap and well located, it does not compensate at all for the lack of rest or sleeping among bedbugs. Not to mention the subsequent headache to prevent bringing bed bugs home. It's not worth it even for one night

25 steep steps upto it , room was hanging walked in and walked out stains over pillows , bedding , walls , my husband used bathroom and said lets go everywhere was black , even homeless wouldn't stay there

Affordable price for an excellent location (next to Sa de Lisboa dome, 3 min to metro Terreiro do Paco). To reach the place you need to climb over many steep steps and manoeuver between restaurant tables. It's 4-room old apartment adapted to a hostel. Minus for a smell (from the restaurant) and bathrooms condition. Plus for a kitchen with multiple fridges, microvawe and responsive and accommodating host

Bed Bugs Hostel

We had booked this hotel the day before our stay following a last minute cancellation of our accommodation. Technical problems with our plane prevented us from taking off. The managers are not very understanding or humane and refused our cancellation request saying that it had to be done 48 hours before (we hadn't even reserved 48 hours before) In addition to the other comments on bed bugs, cockroaches and odors, to avoid...

Very bad experience. READ THE REVIEWS and you will never make the mistake of booking at this hostel. We had to change where to stay because we didn't feel comfortable. We asked for a refund but it was NOT granted. The cockroach we found in the room seemed more scared than us. I recommend this place only if you want to experience the thrill of a new experience. On the other hand, you can leave your bags in your room and go for a walk around the city center.
