The only place I've visited in Portugal that serves a single block of ice with their cocktails. It's important because it doesn't water down the drink. Highly recommend this hidden gem

Can we please add an option for 6 stars? What an atmosphere - the barkeeper gets to be in the center of the bar and produces classic cocktails or caters to wine lovers with their extensive selection of local and imported wines. You can see the passion in the way the drinks are made and how everything is decorated, even the bathroom is an experience. Thanks for a great experience!

Such a cozy pretty little bar. Lovely music playing had cocktails. Out of the main town. Just a little pricey if your on a budget.

The bar setting is very unique and inviting for hanging out with friends or interesting strangers. Owners are two sisters that have great taste and knowledge in hospitality business. This place is a jewel box. Wonderful friendly staff, great cocktails and AMAZING wine selection, beautifully designed, great music and delicious small plates. Also in a great location. We keep returning and are happy each time. Can’t recommend enough

We went to Royal Vessel just about a week or so after their opening and we were overwhelmed with hospitality and amazing quality cocktails and oysters. The owners were so sweet and welcoming, and come to find out, are from our home town and have experience with very successful restaurants and bars along the way. 10/10 would highly recommend anyone stop in to enjoy the upscale atmosphere and excellent cocktails made by their phenomenal bar staff.

Exceptional cocktails. Technically very well executed, a well done bloody mary is a great example of how good they are with cocktails. The environment has a maritime explorer and books/literature vibe, which is a great fit for Lisbon. Tasteful music and very professional and kind staff. Robinson is a great host. Keep up the excellent work! You are definitely a highlight of Lisbon's cocktail bar scene!

We found it via Google, but it is having unexpected ambience, service, and amazing cocktails by super bartender from Brazil. They have a simple but really sophisticated unique menu for the cocktails, but the bartender listens to you and creates your own immediately. MUST GO THERE! Not for big eating. There is simple a few snacks that’s it, it’s for drink.

Wow, what a beautiful bar. The kind of place you come to fall in love or cry about love, regardless you’ll have a great time!

So I came to Portugal for a week, and naturally spent every evening in this bar. Easily the best bar I’ve been to. Favourite cocktails in their absolute best versions. Favourite bartender Nikita, who became a friend in this short time. We even had a joke at first that we wouldn’t enter if he’s not there.

I had a perfect rendition of the „Aviation” prepared by Nikita. Aviation is a 100+ year old cocktail recipe that for decades was almost forgotten. Nikita’s Aviation was probably the best one I ever had in any country. Highly recommended!

Impeccable music and atmosphere. Not only is the interior design a perfect combination of nautical and homey, but Nikita’s playlist puts the cherry on top of this space. The Royal Vessel has quickly become my favorite bar in Barrio Alto and is tough competition for best bar in Lisbon.
