This is huge and beautiful fountain. If you spend more time to climb up to the hill, you will have an amazing view too. Local people come here to play Sport, walk with dogs or relax easily. High recommend.

One of the best place in Lisbon. That you come during the day or evening the view is always magic. If you visit this city you must come here. I love this ground very much. Every time I try to spend a few times here.

Great park! It has a playground. It also has some benchs and tables with chairs. Great to make a picnic. There is also a kiosk that you can get some drinks and food. At the end of the garden there is a big fountain. It is very pretty. It is also great for families since there is a playground for kids. During the summer there are a bunch of events happening here.

A very nice park to spend the evening playing ball, having a picnic, watching the sunset, drinking a beer at the kiosk or just walking around with friends or family. It also has an monumental fountain that lights up after the sunset, with stairs to climb up and get an amazing view of the whole park.

A nice place especially during sunny days. I loved the fountain and the atmosphere is chill, not a lot of noisy people. You can have your meal there (if you packed one of course)

It's a very unique place. I recommend visiting either the university, at one extreme of the park, or the "miradouro" at the other since they allow you to get a nice view.

Beautiful big park. It has some food places around the area. In the park you can chill on the grass, walk up the old fortress like building and also enjoy the majestic huge fountain that lights up in the night. A recommended location to go on a relax date with a bonita Portuguesa 😜

Historical place. With green grass field stretching a long area divided by a busy road. Also a major metro station (Alameda). You can access linha Verde (green line) & linha Varmelha (red line) which is located right under the park.

Offers respite in an otherwise very urban area. Draws a mixed crowd. I would probably not hang out there alone at night, but during early evening was fine. Highlight is definitely the huge fountain and bourganvilla growing to left and right of it.

The place has a very large green area for you to bring you blanket and sit in the grass. There is also a park for the kids and a few stores around. Very safe day & night

Great and neat park smack in the middle of Alameda. Nice place to come and wind down after a day at work. There are two cafés on each side of the park which ate both nice, the one is usually playing music. Beware of bats late at night if that is something that scares you.

It's an open view in a rather dense area in Lisbon. It could be a good place for a picnic, but unfortunately the grass is used as WC for the neighborhood dogs.

A green relief in the middle of the city. A great place to have a coffee in a kiosk, or jog, work out, sun bathe or even smoke a joint with friends.

So many memories in this park. We use to live in Arroios. So its just near-by. Me my brother sister mom dad friends. Everyone loved that park and specially water fountain on top. Every evening our football spot. We moved to UK. But every time i go there i always visit this place. Its inner peace.
