Alvito Recreational Park

Tourist attraction • Park

đź‘Ťđź‘Ť Amazing playgrounds for kids on 3 levels. Very well kept and the eucalyptus trees surrounding the park makes the air smell very fresh. There are toilets right next to the playgrounds which is very handy as well as two paddling pools and a huge shaded seating area. Has to be the best park in Lisbon! People often mention park, kids, playground, play, playgrounds, area, picnic,

Great playground, the biggest one I have ever seen, got lots of kids play equipment, slides, swings, climbing ropes etc. The only thing is don't go in a hot day, cause the floor is made of rubber, make it ever hotter.

Very nice place to have fun with your family and kids. There are tables for picnic and a cafeteria to buy some snacks. Don't bring big bikes only small bikes are allowed. Pets are not allowed.

Excellent place to visit with the family for a picnic when the weather is nice. Lots of play areas for different ages from +1. It has a few BBQs and a stone oven but I think they're not working, sadly.

The only playground in Lisbon i really find relaxing. No cars around, no noise, big space, green. Just like what I was used to at home!

It is a bit out of the way, but it is definitely worth a visit with kids. We went early on a sunny weekday and got to enjoy the playground and the surroundings with only a few people around. You can easily spend half-day here

Lots of areas and bits of kids to play on. Has been renivated for upcoming warmer season so bits currently roped off as per the photo. Good picnic area but can get busy during the day. Use the overflow car park if the sides of the road are already taken.

So much to do for little ones, the playgrounds are amazing and varied. And comfortable spaces for parents to sit where you can easily watch your child. Also great picnic spaces + areas for skating, basketball, soccer etc Still just amazing as out first visit + now the bottom level of the playground is also open again... Three levels of playground, amazing

Nice park. Clean and quiet. But as everything in Portugal - it looks dilapidated and requires heavy renovation.

Very large, varied and clean park. Kept our 3 year old extremely happy. No one else despite it being sunny.

Fun place although busy when we got there. Wasn't any seating where you could look out but we found some comfortable chairs to sit at by a fan as it was quite warm in the sun. Delicious sangria but service was slow. We had to wave him down to order another round even though he walked by us several times. Also, had to ask a different waiter for our check which in turn our waiter finally brought. Nice view but I wouldn't say it's the best view.

Excellent place to take toddlers and children in general. In the middle of the forest, full of places to play and have an impromptu picnic. Really nice.

Excellent place for kids. Parking the car however can be tricky. I recommend going there by bike.

This was such a peaceful family-oriented park. This was my first time observing the #juneteenthcelebration Unfortunately, Florida is one of the many states that have yet to recognize and observe Juneteenth as a paid time off (for reflection) “holiday”. Needless to say, this was SO refreshing. To experience this in another country, surrounded by a thriving black community, nature, and uplifting vibes was on another level. ❤️💚🖤 It was giving family reunion/neighborhood cookout vibes. I’m so grateful for this experience. Today was a good day 🫶🏽

A perfect place to take the kids out! There's so much to do for children, the playground is split into 3 levels so it's suitable for different ages. There's a little café that serves the most delicious pizzas! The toilets are very clean and well looked after. Definitely recommend visiting!

Complete with benches and chairs and playgrounds to entertain children of all age. Barbecue area and water fountain. Cafe is available. Ample parking space. Overall very good and spacious. Just needs maintenance

Children park with lots of playgrounds and beautiful nature. The territory is surrounded by a fence, so there is no direct route to the other part of the park area.

Enormous park with room for thousands of children, but reserves a unique tranquility during the schooldays. It's located near plenty of nice walking trails as well. Small shop to get an ice cream or other treat on site.

đź‘Ťđź‘Ť Beautiful place. It's such a pleasure to be here in any season in full sun or under the moon. The Belem tower is awesome ! This fortress in the middle of the Tagus has been the starting point for the navigators who set out to discover the trade routes. The expansive spirit is still present here. En...
