We continue our walk around Afama. There are three directions - up, down and stairs 🙂 After my experience with a bus through these narrow streets on the way back from the castle, I preferred to play it as a pedestrian. The atmosphere is pleasant, slightly noisy and quite colorful. It is worth walking around, buying a souvenir and simply immersing yourself in the surroundings. I drank coffee, people-watched, and enjoyed the sun that occasionally broke through the clouds. In the garden of the Church of Saint Lucia, you can enjoy wonderful murals on tiles telling the history of Lisbon, and from the terrace you can enjoy a wonderful view. The Fado Museum is an extremely interesting experience. It's my first time in a music museum. They have a great audio guide to explore the museum. Separately, you can watch videos and listen to music in different places of the museum. The staff are very kind and responsive.

Alfama is fun but a challenging hike. Beautiful old tiny streets and views.

Charming place in a truly typical and exotic neighborhood. A bottle of vino verdé was served to us upon our arrival.

đź‘Ťđź‘Ť Beautiful place. It's such a pleasure to be here in any season in full sun or under the moon. The Belem tower is awesome ! This fortress in the middle of the Tagus has been the starting point for the navigators who set out to discover the trade routes. The expansive spirit is still present here. En...
