👍👍 We don’t speak Portuguese. They found us a great waiter who spoke english and he recommended a shrimp/white fish stew. I’m Puerto Rican and my Abuela died a few years ago after Hurricane Maria. This was the closest thing I’ve ever had to her cooking since she died. I held back tears as I ate it. I’m... People often mention Portuguese, good, great, restaurant, service,

We don’t speak Portuguese. They found us a great waiter who spoke english and he recommended a shrimp/white fish stew. I’m Puerto Rican and my Abuela died a few years ago after Hurricane Maria. This was the closest thing I’ve ever had to her cooking since she died. I held back tears as I ate it. I’m only mad at myself for not coming more hungry so I could scrape the bottom of the pot. I’m so THANKFUL we ate here. I would travel back to Lisbon from Tennessee in a few years to eat here again!!!!

We went here as our one meal on our Layover in Lisbon. This was one of the best meals I've had in a very long time. It was delicious and affordable. We had a bottle of wine, an appetizer, 2 mains, and 2 deserts and I think it was less than 50 euros. Unbelievably good food and excellent service.

My third review goes to this Portuguese restaurant. I would call it a Portuguese Tasca Factory as it is hughe. The food is traditionnal Poruguese and every dish we had so far was very good and on top op it to affordable prices. Of course it's crowdy and loud, and it's nothing fancy, but it's tasty with a good service. To be repeated any time.

Nice neighborhood gem close to Lisbon airport. The day we wen't they have cozido a portuguesa, and there was a line outside waiting for a table, so go early or be prepared to wait. The food was excellent and the portions huge. Even being completely full the waiters did a great job.

If you like fresh seafood, good meat, then eat here! But you better know your portuguese. The menu has no english translation, though the waiters try to translate it the best they can. My suggestion is to look it up in the internet prior to your visit to at least be able to translate beforehand. The appetizers are not free. So if you don't plan on eating them, you can ask for the waiter to take them away. One more thing, get here early or make reservations. The house gets full.

Typical portuguese restaurant with a great variety of options. The meat and fish we had were tasty and big portions. Just a bit pricey due to the starters. If you are not a big eater I would say you can be fine with one starter and one main. Not suitable for vegetarians.

Tasty traditional Portuguese food. They don't have an English menu, but one of the waiters who spoke a bit of English helped me as best he could to choose something to eat. Not too expensive either.

I’ve been going years and years and it don’t fail. Probably the best restaurant you can visit when in Lisbon hands down. Price is fair….nothing in London can compare to quality of this place

Traditional, in the true Portuguese sense "food has flavour" I know right... It's not touristic so they didn't remove the flavour from the food service is great and the staff is supper helpful

Exceptional food and service. They were most kind and helpful to this American couple who doesn't know the language. This is where Portuguese family and friends go to eat a great meal.

One of Lisbon's best restaurant if you are looking for food quality. The dishes are very well served and very tasty. It doesn't have a view, but you'll have a hard time looking for a restaurant with better food at a reasonable price. Just be prepare to wait a few minutes to be seated.

Great place to eat some authentic Portuguese food. Very crowded with locals on an evening in the week, which is usually a good sign. Food was great - everything from the starters, through the main dishes to desserts. Wine was good as well and combined well with the food. If you're in the vicinity and you're hungry - visit this place!

Very friendly waitstaff and a real community restaurant feel. The food was also top notch and the portion sizes were very generous. Not the cheapest option but well worth it.

We walked in and they were able to find us a table even though they were crowded. The menu was in Portuguese but the waiter was more than helpful and friendly and he translated the menu for us and gave a good recommendation for dinner. Dinner was delicious.
