Very friendly staff. The food was good. I feel authentic food. I recommend that if you are around this restaurant.

We stopped here for our last lunch in Lisbon and left full with happy memories. The food was simply delicious. The octopus salad, peri peri chicken, and grilled sea bass with garlic were all great! Monica was an attentive server who kindly brought us some port to finish off!

Cozy, off the side street familial restaurant. Went as a family and ordered many dishes to try. All came quickly and were tasty, warm and delicious. Nicely grilled fish and octopus! Lightly salted so you could taste the sea. Nice selection of wines! The servers were outstanding and deserve to be mentioned for being quick, patient and efficient.

Really cute spot! I had the sea bass and wine . Just be careful when eating since it’s bone in. Friendly hostess Samjhana who was really sweet to me 😊 and nice atmosphere. Will definitely stop back next time I’m in Lisbon

Great little local restaurant with delicious food and friendly staff. We had the Piri Piri chicken and the Cod Fish cakes with rice and beans. Both freshly cooked and tasty. Complimentary tasting glasses of port wine at the end of our meal unexpected and most welcome. 😊

This place is amazing! Friendly and helpful staff, menu translated in numerous languages, and a great selection of local and global food! Food is delicious and not expensive, portion size is good and restaurant is super clean. 11/10 can not say enough good things about them.

The fish was very fresh and tasty. It did have a few bones however the oily flavour was very nice.

Hidden restaurant nice food, traditionally Portugese. Monica was very accommodating. Would recommend the grilled sausage as a starter.

Terrible, tasteless… we’ve asked for Bacalhau à Brás but would be tastier to request cardboard paper. At least the waiter was super helpful and happy to attend. -1/10

The two ladies that served us were both very nice and polite. Very fresh and tasty seafood dishes. Price was very reasonable too. Glad that it was open on Christmas Day.

Fantastisches Restaurant.

Great little restaurant that offers very tasty food at very good value. Tucked away on a side street, which offers sitting inside and outside. The atmosphere is welcoming and authentic, but you are sitting on a street with car traffic (if that doesn't bother you, it's 10 out of 10!) The service was amazing by all the staff present. They were friendly and answered and advised perfectly. We tried the grilled garlic seabass and octopus rice, followed by Sangria and some traditional local drinks. Great spot in a busy area that will suit a couple or a group of friends to enjoy local food and drink.

The best food and service here. Tried the sliced cod fish with potato here and it was really good. Love the atmosphere here as its by a small street. A staff also offered me a blanket as she noticed that i was cold and even chatted with me to make me at ease as i was alone. Will definitely come back!

We stumbled upon this restaurant as we were walking about Barrio Alto and was looking for a place with the flaming chorizo sausage. Saw the cute outdoor seating and decided to give it a shot. Very impressed with the service, really friendly staff and the food was great with reasonable prices.

Friendly service with homely food. The grilled octopus and beef in Portuguese style were cooked really well. Recommended if you’re looking for a hearty meal.

It's good enough for food, just don't expect the best. I had the piri piri and smoked sausage. Chicken was dry, which was quite disappointing as you would expect piri piri to be a real Portuguese dish. The sausage was good, but very salty and with the flames it was quite a show. Service was great. The interior is a bit outdated.

Nirajan, the server and the charming lady who took my picture in front of Floresta do Calhariz all work here. My friends told me do not leave Portugal without having real Portuguese food, not tourist food. Go to this restaurant, clean , great food at reasonable prices. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience. Portuguese Style. Lina Donal

Amazing service, great food, good vibes My friends and I decided to give this place a go for dinner, and thank god we did! The food was great, but let me start off with the amazing service. Our waitress, Kasum, was incredible. From the moment we sat down she was so helpful! She delivered service with not only a smile, but a happy, fun, and positive energy which made our experience so enjoyable! We can’t thank you enough Kasum, you are a credit to the restaurant! The food was great. We had a diverse range of starters and mains. The vegetarian rice with vegetables was really tasty and presented well in a little pot! The mozzarella and tomato was unreal. The chips were so fresh and yummy. We also had some cocktails which were really good too! This place was honestly great and very reasonably priced. But once again, it really was our waitress, Kasum, who made the experience so good… she really went above and beyond for us! Such a lovely woman, I wish her well.

Located centrally in Bairro Alto, but in a quiet side street. The staff is extremely friendly, and the food is absolutely OK. Not too fancy, but OK. You can sit outside or in the restaurant. Overall we spent a nice evening and enjoyed our dinner.

You know that thing when you land on the late side in a foreign country…and you wonder where the eff you’re gonna eat? Floresta Do Calhariz is your best-case scenario. Six of us stopped here because it was close to our Airbnb and honestly, we had low expectations. Within a few moments, Priya and Nirajan melted those away. Not only was the service friendly and the prices reasonable, the food was GREAT. (Specifically: the vegetable curry, grilled sea bass with garlic, and shrimps gratinad.) If the late-night dining wasn’t enough of a wonderful welcome, two hours after we paid our bill & stumbled back home, they kindly set aside mops and aprons to sell us water & wine. Seriously, COME HERE and experience the hospitality and deliciousness of Lisbon.

We seated at 7 o'clock for dinner and we didn't eat the first appetizer until nearly 8:30. The waiter told us that we could only sit outside. The attitude of the service staff was very good, but we really waited too long at windy night, everyone was uncomfortable. It is recommended that if you can't handle the order, just tell the customer directly.
