The one star is for the clean facilities and nice bath. Otherwise, the staff was really rude on entry. For 40€ and a self described “boutique sauna” I expected better service. Upon entry the sauna was *completely* empty. Since I had nothing to do but try and relax, I tried to read on my phone. The staff told me I wasn’t allowed to do this, so I put it back. Less than a minute after the two employees were RECORDING a news story playing on the tv with their phones. I find this absolutely unacceptable. When I asked for a partial refund for my experience, the management was defensive and turned around and walked out. I cannot advise going here at all- was an honestly terrible experience.

As exciting as I was to go, I couldn’t have been more disappointed with the outcome. The space is amazing but the staff was inattentive and it was completely empty. I went on a Tuesday night and was one of two people. Had to wait for the door guy to return from watching tv to check me in. O should have turned around then. Him and the bartender were just watching the news or wandering. The manager was defensive of the fact that the price was fair just for the empty facility and basically said they don’t care about your experience. She claimed that bathhouses was about the space not the social experience as it’s been since Roman times. There was no effort made to elevate the sour feeling we had. Ask questions before entering or better yet, someplace that cares about customers.

0 Stars are too much. We were there and it was almost empty, Prices too expensive and not that what was promised on their side. Only us as couple and thennjust 2 orher men that were Stalking us. We will never come again.

I had great expectations for this place They sell themselves as transfriendly. Been bothered all night about my shoes. Saying it was damaging their concrete floor. Really? They Demanded i remove my high hells to put on flip flops. Really? They were affraid i go walk on furnitures with my heels. Really? I guees they thought i was an idiot. I read the story about the owner and I understand she’s a transgirl as well, so I guess she must understand how important are the shoes for a transgirl, For a trans or lgbtq friendly place they sure make a good job annoying you with the 1001 rules. Thats an adult club, not a kindergarten, so please stop patronizing you clients. No wonder the place was that empty on a Thursday night. Never will go back again :(

I don't care about money, but you should respect people's privacy, why does the employee say he should look at me when I take off my clothes and when I take a shower. Also the water and sauna were cold.

One of the best space to enjoy a different moment alone or with someone special. For us, the discretion, the hygiene and the decoration was perfect. In addition to all these qualities, we had the privilege to be received by Kiki Pais de Sousa, who is the owner of this sauna and an amazing women, as well as, an excellent host. Thank you very much, for the amazing experience that we had.

I wish they would have told me I was the ONLY person in the sauna before charging me €40. I got there on a Tuesday night. There’s probably more people on the weekend but I’m not sure, it was my first time. The amenities are nice and clean which is why I give it 2 stars but overall overpriced.

This is not one of the typical crowded Gay Saunas. If you are looking for too much action, you might go look somewhere else. But if you are looking for a nice and very CLEAN place where you can probably meet someone for your adventures, then this is the spot for you.

Really enjoyed! I know other saunas of the liberal genre a bit all over the world, yet I found that it was cleaner than the others. Could have a few more customers by the time I went there, they were only there 10 at the time I went, but we can not ask for more. I recommend the SaunApolo 56 in Lisbon.

We are a young, openly liberal couple. We are both bisexuals and on a short trip to Portugal and after research, this small LGBT sauna has attracted attention. From where we have come, London UK, these admittedly LGBT establishments are rare. What do we have to say? We loved the dedication and attention with which the owner of the sauna, Kiki de Sousa, received us. The ambience, cleanliness and everything else are 5 star. I have been there 3 times and only once I found a couple. And the other only 2 men. Other saunas are always crowded. When I call the answer I get is that to guarantee I have company I should always bring my own haha. Well it's a shame, I know all the main saunas around lisbon, and this is the one with best areas, playroom, etc (sky is a bit more fancy but less play areas). With the right prices (similar to paradise sauna) this sauna would be always crowded. A vodka 20 euros? I think I haven't seen that not even on 5 star hotels! Lower your prices, get friend staff and your business will boom! Visit and knownyour competition, their customer service is way better and friendly and and prices are fair! Please take this as a constructive argument as I really like the place....try a promotion week for 10e entrance day / 15 or 20 night, and you'll see it crowded!

Liberal space I recommend. It has the right binomial between the amount of people (which is not excessive) and the type of people (non-invasive of our space). The staff is very polite. A big hug to Kiki, the Sauna´s managing partner.

Worst club ever. €40 and the club is empty. Only go if you have lots of money to waste very bad Wish I could change the review to a 0. The owner is terrible and can’t admit that her buisness rules are terrible. Instead of thinking of ways to make her service better she decides it’s best to argue and try to make customers look bad. Read other reviews too many people have had the same experience as me so it clearly is a sign there is something awfully wrong with this buisness and I hope one day the owner will stop living in dreamland and become a better owner and buisness woman, no wonder there was only 1-2 people in the place. The management is horrible such a shame as the space is beautiful and this buisness could be booming with customers. Don’t go here also the drinks are extremely overpriced 😂 what a joke

The facilities are awesome,clean, modern and well maintained, the receptionist is cordial but maybe lacks a little of the social insight to make you feel comfortable when entering(the awkward standing next to people when they are changing is a little weird), the place was relatively empty on a Saturday afternoon but unlike most comments who see this as a negative it only enhanced the experience for me, they don't advertise as a gay roaming spot but a mixed sauna(although they do provide massage services) so if you are looking for sex with a stranger for no additional fee this might not be the place for you. The only negative thing I can say is the awkwardness of the receptionist( but this might also be a personal issue). I would definitely go again or recommend to friends. I also think this spot is ideal for straight women during the day of they wanna launch about in a jacuzzi and hot tub.

I'm a little low-profile, but I feel super at home. The sound of the environment brings a lightness to the well-being, I will definitely come back more often.

Reception service and enlightening explanations of operation, really hygienic facilities, incredible interior space, excellent Turkish bath with sensational aroma, I loved the jacuzzi, heated water, with good vibe in the environment, the totally helpful staff. Nothing to complain, I was very well received from start to finish.

I went with a friend and we both enjoyed the experience. Clean and with attentive service. There could have been more people, but it wasn't bad im vary happy 😊
