The seafood was fresh..but the service was not up to standard.. we just ordered some shrimps, a few prawns, 2 oysters, a small dish of crab meat, a small pot of clams, 2 super sweet dessert (too sweet that it made you shiver) , and a beer, an orange juice, honestly the two of us were not full at all after finishing all these small dishes, but a bill of €154 was exceedingly costly... definitely won't recommend this restaurant to tourists, it s not worth the money..

I don’t usually write reviews but felt the need to do so as I have never felt ripped off as much as today. I have traveled the world and eaten in the worlds best restaurants. I have lived in global cities (New York, London, Hong Kong) and appreciate good food. Nevertheless, today was a standout in how I felt we were overcharged. The four of us (2 children and 2 adults) ate shrimp, sea bass, barnacles and clams. The food was excellent. Yet charging €100 for a small sea bass and €75 for .5kg of barnacles is outrageous. It’s a shame that I will not be recommending this to traveler friends of mine. I am certain that none of the Portuguese were paying through the nose as we did today.

Overall, it was a good experience, super fancy. The service was good and overly attentive. I think it is suitable for a special occasion/celebration and when you want to get dressed up and go out. That being said, there are a few restaurants that will offer you similar food and service with a more realistic price tag. The music was not suited to the location or the atmosphere.

The food is absolutely delicious. Just be careful about the quantity that you are ordering. They will show you the largest most outrageous sized lobsters and fish, but you’ll need to use discretion on what’s the proper amount of servings for your group. We ended up getting a €350 lobster and a €250 fish. Lobster was overrated for me but the pregado/turbot was probably the best fish I’ve ever had in my life. Lobster bisque was DELICIOUS!

Nunes Real Marisqueira is a seafood restaurant located in the charming neighborhood of Santos in Lisbon. The restaurant has been serving up delicious seafood dishes for several decades and is a must-visit for anyone who loves fresh seafood. The restaurant's atmosphere is warm and inviting, with friendly staff who are happy to make recommendations and answer any questions you may have. The menu features an extensive selection of seafood dishes, including their famous seafood rice and shellfish. While the food at Nunes Real Marisqueira is undoubtedly delicious, it should be noted that some dishes can be on the pricey side. For example, the grilled shrimp, while incredibly tasty, may be a bit expensive at 110 euros for four pieces. However, the quality of the seafood and the expertise of the chefs make it well worth the price for those who can afford it. Overall, Nunes Real Marisqueira is a top-notch seafood restaurant that is definitely worth a visit. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is inviting, and the staff are knowledgeable and attentive. Just be aware that some dishes may be on the pricier side, such as the grilled shrimp, but the quality of the food makes it worth it.

Great restaurant. Very friendly staff. One of the largest lobster tanks we’ve ever seen. Huge choice of seafood. Not cheap but it’s the overall experience combined with the best fish and fresh seafood you can have that comes with a price. Definitely to return

This seafood restaurant is a fantastic choice if you're craving fresh lobsters and crabs. They offer some of the largest ones we've ever come across. The service was outstanding, and the quality of the food pleasantly surprised us. The only drawback we noticed is that it appeared to be more geared towards families with children rather than catering to young couples.

It was a wonderful experience with beautiful atmosphere and interior.. Food was incredibly fresh and very well prepared, missing 1⭐️ was the clams bit salty and very watery otherwise well deserved for 5 ⭐️..Loved the wine we picked as well. Our server was great, he was fun to interact with and made dinner a personal experience for us. It was a high end dining experience that we loved.

Wow- Just Wow! My brother in law booked this restaurant and I was blown away. I actually cried. I think this restaurant should be a Michelin Star restaurant. Their seafood dishes, starters, wine, their service and every single waitstaff treats you like you are the only one that matters. Every single waitstaff is so personable, attentive and the food will blow you away. It is this kind of mindset you need when you visit this restaurant. Because this team is all about making sure you have the best experience. What an adventure and I will forever cherish my experience. The chef personally came to our table to make sure everything was perfect. The best seafood restaurant in the world. To any tourists visiting Lisbon, Portugal 🇵🇹, you will not be disappointed. Every single waitstaff in this restaurant is outstanding, welcoming and incredibly informative and makes your dinning experience that you will cherish forever. The dishes are delicate yet penetrating, fresh and tasty, and will take you to a different level. One word to describe this restaurant is WOW.

Seafood is nice and fresh - I ordered the shrimp and lobster curry that came with white rice. The dish was tasty and the portion was very big as I still had more left in the pot. My friend had grouper rice and that was tasty as well. For dessert we got coffee and this custard. Service was great , friendly.

Had a great experience tonight. The sommelier recommended us some fantastic full body Portuguese wine. Everything dish that came to our table was absolutely fantastic. My favourites were the clams and the baby squid

Everything was perfect, fresh seafood, great risotto, and the chili!!! You can feel the spicy flavor but I Love it. This is a restaurant worth experiencing many times!

Our Xmas eve seafood brunch included raw oysters, gambas ajillo, arroz de mariscos, these curious little finger-like John Dory fish filled with roe, and lemon meringue tart + 20 year old Port for dessert. Super stuffed and ready to digest and walk it off in Belem!

Wow! Best meal in Portugal by far and that is saying something. Sea Bass was out.of this world. Desert meringue was sublime. One of my top 10 meals ever. I can not recommend this place enough. I have traveled to more than 50 coutries and this restaurant is on the top of my list.

Of course 25 and even 18 euro is pricey for a plate of clams or shrimps. To be able to judge the quality of seafood, I'd need to order something raw. However, the place is absolutely gorgeous, especially bathrooms and bar 😁

Very rude waiters. High prices if compared to other local restaurants. The food was good though. The only reason to visit this restaurant would be for their higher end food like crabs, lobsters etc.

The reviews about this restaurant having amazing seafood were 100 percent right. We had a whole sea bass that took the place of the best fish I’ve ever had. It was so flavorful and perfectly cooked. Every bite was heaven. The Art Deco atmosphere, too, is so fun and inspiring. The prices are MUCH higher than any other place we’ve eaten — almost comparable to where we live in Boston — but it’s worth the splurge. Just be aware of what you’re ordering. With the bread and sardines appetizers, and an order of scallops, we ordered way too much. Sadly, I was too stuffed to make much of a dent in that aforementioned amazing sea bass — a travesty! Made for a delicious breakfast with eggs the next morning, though. 🐟

After 10 days in Lisbon, this is the best seafood restaurant I ate at and most of my meals was seafood. The restaurant decor, and service matched the food.
