This place was AMAZING!!. I called the restaurant to make reservations for 10 but they only had room for 6. I called again asking if they can split up our table, still got declined. But for whatever reason the stars aligned and I received a call from the restaurant, they were able to squeeze us in for a table last minute.. We made it there and was greeted by the owner herself. She personslly helped us order. So we tried the Baby Squid, Octopus Salad, Clams, Garlic shrimp, Grilled Cod, Cuttlefish Black Ink rice and Squid & Shrimp rice.. Top with 2 bottle of green wine which paired very nicely with the seafood we ate.. Everything we had tasted soooo good.. Our entire party of 10 left happy, full & satisfied.. The amount of money we paid (not too expensive at all) was definitely worth the experience.

This restaurant was recommended by our wine tasting tour guide and it did not disappoint!!! The food and wine were phenomenal. We were able to meet the owner at the start of dinner and grab a picture with him before we left! The fish was fresh and their own wine paired well! Highly recommend this gem in Lisbon, Portugal!

Excellent food. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We turned up early when they were just opening and managed to get a table. We had Octopus salad and a green salad to Starr, then I had the fish of the day, which was a grouper slice, with potatoes and green beans. My wife had Seafood Rice in Squid ink. All excellent.

This is where the Portuguese eat: a local, family owned restaurant where the food is divine. I highly recommend calling to make a reservation. Great for a date, good friends, family, or a memorable dinner party. All of the fish is caught fresh and served with excellent service. I always come here when in Lisbon! Thank you to the incredible owners for their hospitality.

We were very lucky that the restaurant was able to accommodate us for an early dinner on Friday night without a reservation. The staff was extremely friendly and professional and the atmosphere was very nice. We ordered the octopus salad, seafood pasta, sliced monkfish, encharcada and figs. Everything was very delicious. The highlight of the night was definitely the monkfish which was prepared and seasoned perfectly. I look forward to visiting this restaurant again and again just for this dish in the future whenever I visit Lisbon.

Very nice place to eat. Price is indicated at the more expensive side, but price versus quality is very good. Tried 3 different dishes and all equally superb.

Wow wow wow. Wirklich hervorragend. Service und Inhaber sind sehr herzlich. Ich hatte die Muscheln mit Knoblauch und frischem Koriander, dann die King-Prawns. Die besten die ich jemals gegessen habe. Perfekt zubereitet. Saftig und zart und mit Duft von "Meer". Dazu gab es Reis mit geraspelter Karotte. Das klingt nicht spektakulär, aber es war spektakulär. Danach dann noch die in Zuckersirup eingelegten Feigen. Sweet Portugies. Vielen Dank für den schönen Abend

The best authentic portuguese food in town. This is a must if you want to have high quality, portuguese fresh fish and seafood. The owners and staff are amazing. I would recommend the fish, butter sauce, carrot rice and the home made desserts are to die for! Highly recommend.

PRO's: very nice staff, the barman is very friendly the chef comes in the restaurant to speak with clients good food decent prices CON's; you are charged for - the tap water, even if it should be free - the complimentary bread and olives

Amazing fish dishes and the owner was delightful! Try the family recipe “soaked eggs” for desert. Never had anything like it!

A family restaurant in a nice location in the restaurants area in the heart of Lisbon. Been here by the recommendation of locals. Food was amazing, the sauce they serve with the fish makes the difference. The wife takes the orders and the husband is at the kitchen. The experience was spoiled by a very chaotic table service. Despite being full of waiters (we could easily expect one of them to be assigned to our desk) we had to service ourselves with the wine. Also waiting for the desserts menu for 15 minutes from the 2 different waiters. In the end, our single experience after travelling Portugal many times and being in all sort of restaurants, the random waiter, who brought the bill, kindly hinted about the tip. We enjoyed the evening and the food, but I still have the feeling that I shouldn’t have paid 15% extra on top of already very expensive set.

Wonderful experience here with my family. My father’s cousin said this is his favorite seafood restaurant in Lisbon and I can see why after experiencing it ourselves. The grilled fish here is a must try. So delicious and fresh. And the desserts are fabulous!

One of a kind restaurant in Lisbon. You will feel at home. The owner and his wife were there talking to us all the time. Very authentic and delicious food. Highly recommend it!

Loved the food & wine! Highly recommend the squid. However, really small portion for the price and the service was super bad. Most of the waiters were way too rude. Some nice though.

Excellent food, wine and service! The squid, octopus and shrimp starters were all great and 4 shared. The grilled sea bass for 4 people with vegetables was fantastic and all the desserts were good. A locally owned restaurant with friendly service. I would love to go back if I ever get to Lisbon again.

Great place to eat, I’m surprised it doesn’t have more reviews. Host and hostess showed up and checked on us which it was a nice touch. Good option for fish and local food. The only thing that I would say is that the prices are higher than we expected
