👍👍 The best meal I have had in days (granted before I was in Spain). Still this place is an amazing find! Our server was unbeatable, he gave us wine suggestions and also told us places to see while we are here visiting :)) Def give it a try, literally have no cons to post. Go and enjoy 😊 People often mention good, great, service, wine, Portuguese, staff, nice, restaurant, dinner, friendly,

Good Portuguese food at reasonable prices. Very friendly staff. Had the octopus rice which was tasty. There was a slight miscommunication for one of our dishes (got bread soup instead of pasta) but the soup was still tasty and the owner offered to swap it out for the correct dish.

Very good lunch spot. Lots of fresh seafood and delicious house white. Would recommend the Cuttlefish with potatoes dish.

A really nice, locals-only feeling Portuguese restaurant. The food was incredibly fresh and well seasoned. The staff were attentive and kind as we practiced our Portuguese. We had the grilled salmon (wow! Flavorful and tender), the rabbit (unexpected and succulent, yes, those are onions but it all works), apple tart, and coffees. We will be back to share this gem with friends and family. Thank you!

On the surface, this restaurant looks like a great place to try some traditional Portuguese food in a modern and slightly more upmarket environment than your average traditional restaurant. However, the food for me was a bit of a letdown. The dish I ordered was overcooked and over salted. I was expecting a tender juicy piece of meat but ended up with with something a little hard and dry. Two of the four pieces also had so much salt I needed to wash it down with a drink. The restaurant gets kind of busy but notably no customers appeared to be Portuguese. So if you're after good Portuguese food you're better off looking elsewhere.

Groups clearly get way more attention over solo visitors; a group that came in after me got friendly jokes, interested questions and regular and quick service. When I arrived for my reservation I was waved/beckoned to my table from across the dining room instead of properly guided there which I don't expect of a restaurant that looks this classy and is in this price range. The waiter didn't get me a menu or drink until 20 minutes after I was sat down. A good part of the main course was oversalted and tasted burnt. Did not file a complaint because I didn't know this local dish wasn't supposed to taste this way at the time. 2 stars instead of 1 because at least the wine and olives were good and the place was clean.

Great food (but less traditional than it seems). Freshly made, good ingredients. We had fantastic time - also due to the waiter who made us drinking and drinking and ...

Had a great meal here with the family. Very casual. The veal with rice from the pot was amazing as were the clams with spaghetti. Great wine and friendly service

Had a great meal here with my family and my wife's cousins (Lisboetas). Beautiful decor, excellent staff, friendly ambience. Food was delicious and portions were very decent. Prices were very satisfactory for the dining experience. Equally appropriate place for a date night or a family dinner.

Amazing service and great food - cant fault this place, great ambiance and wine too, all for a reasonable price 🤩 We had prawns and fishcakes to start, then a whole seabream with veg to share between two. Dessert was almond pie 🙌🏽

Great food, awesome music and the young staff is really pleasant. We would need much more time to melt the older gentleman's heart, but the food is worth the trying.

My friend and I had dinner there. We arrive around 22.20 and they let us have dinner there, knowing that they close at 23. The waiter, young guy with black skin, was really nice and very helpful in the moments to have decision about the food. In general, it was all good. We had the octopus and the salmon with 2 colas and a bottle of water, a fruit salad and one more Portuguese dessert and we pay 42€. The place is really nice. 100% recommended.

Staff was absolutely amazing. Friendly, helpful, funny. Food was even better. The steak was the best I had ever eaten, and the wine was exquisite. Might be our favorite place we've eaten at in Lisbon!

We loved this spot. I met our server, Thomas, earlier in the day when I walked by. He was so friendly . We decided to go for dinner. Best decision, we have eaten here twice in the past four night. Food, wine and service was amazing. We had the Caprese salad and the pasta a la forma. So good! Great vibe, excellent food and Thomas gave us top rated service. Thanks for helping to make our trip to Portugal memorable.

I think the restaurant is remarkable! The servers and managers were extremely nice. They are all trilingual and will do their best to accomplish a great service. The food was delicious and well presented. Decently priced and fancy. Definitely recommended!

My husband and I had lunch at O Funil last Saturday. Food and service were reasonable but we later found out we were overcharged 14,50€ for a bottle of wine we never had - I am pregnant hence no chance we would have ordered that. Definitely a ‘mistake’ that would make is not got there again.

First time in Lisboa and our first dinner out was at O Funil. Just a lucky find as we were walking down a side street exploring. Such kind and attentive staff - kudos to Ashish who helped us select a wonderful appertivo (white port), two great entrees, a wonderful Portuguese red dinner wine (Quinta do Coro) and a nice dessert. Plus he wrote down a list of awesome places to visit while we were here! The ambience of the restaurant is low key (nice in a busy city like Lisboa) and relaxing...and the food was great with fair prices! It's well worth a visit :-)

We had a beautiful time at the O Funil with great food (especially garlic prawns with a gorgeous sauce!) and drinks. Accompanied by caring and extremely friendly, attentive personal, most prominently Ashish, who guided our journey of wonderful portugese dishes. Major recommendation!

We ate here twice and food was good. Service was excellent. Attentive staff. Shrimp very tasty. Salad was too watery. Overall, we recommend.

This is a quaint place, however it can hold a party of 8 or 10. When it’s busy with large parties smaller tables are somewhat less attended to by staff, but you can’t take things personal. The food is good, I had dinner there twice. Awesome atmosphere and lovely music.

Thank you O Funil for letting us in for a late dinner. Friends recommend a few places and everything was full booked. I’m so happy we got here instead! We had the best service, the whole staff is well organised and friendly. The food was a nice discovery, well cooked and nice. We tried a fish and a meat meal. It’s really affordable for the quality. If you visit Lisboa I recommend this restaurant for sure we will be back.
