Hotel is located in a residential neighborhood of Lisboa. There is a supermarket, a pharmacy, restaurants, buses, and the metro within a short walk. The room are clean, not fancy, and they don't have a fridge. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The breakfast offers a decent selection of food. Good value.

Decent/clean rooms. The breakfast buffet was solid and there is a nice bar/patio area on the ground level. The staff was all very friendly. Parking was reasonable at 14 euros a night. I'm only giving it 4 stars because there are no safes or fridges in the rooms, and the air conditioning doesn't really work that well so we were relatively hot most of the time; but aside from that everything is really good.

Very clean rooms with a comfy bed and a good furnishing. A safe in the room is missing. There are two Metro stations within walking distance about 5-10 minutes. The breakfast was very basic, beginning with every morning missing forks and scrambled eggs, asking the staff didn’t change anything at all. The breakfast rooms floor was sticky and many tables were full of dirty dishes which weren’t removed. At a rainy day I asked for a umbrella at the front desk which was refused without any explanation. Very confusing was the cleaning service for the rooms. I‘m used to knocking staff on the room’s door when they wanna come in to clean for example. In this case they just opened the room at around 8 am without knocking or anything, it’s very disrespectful to the privacy of the client. The next day the cleaning staff started knocking on the rooms door while a „no service needed“ sign was placed in front of the door. It’s a confusing behavior and the cleaning staff definitely needs to improve the skills when it comes to client interaction and privacy. Unfortunately the front desk staff didn’t ask be about my experience so I did this review. So in summary it’s not the badest hotel at all but for sure they have to improve a lot of details which should be standard in this hotel category.

We love our home away from home when we are in Lisbon for shorter stays. This is our third stay here, this time for five days. Fabulous breakfast buffet with long hours. A really nice enclosed outdoor patio that's great for breakfast, work, drinks or a little snack. There's also a bar in the lobby. Friendly customer service and cleaning staff. Highly recommend. Good price and not far from two metro stops, a mall, a few parks, and a ton of restaurants and shops even closer. Only a 15 minute walk to the touristy areas closer to the river, so this neighborhood is much quieter. We'll definitely be back. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 stars

The front desk group was top notch, especially Mariana, Taisa, and Nicole. Most of them trilingual y absolutely professional! The options offered in the inclusive breakfast are varied and for every taste and lifestyle. Very chic, clean, and comfy rooms. Who couldn't ask for more. I recommend it with all my heart ❤️.

We were there Oct. 5-8th 2022. We asked for a safe and they only had 6! I believe the hotel has 105 rooms. Check in was painfully slow. Then there was our tiny room. My husband kept saying that all the rooms had the same size. When I looked at the room next door it looked a whole lot bigger than ours, which was in a corner. Finally my husband saw the room next door the next day and exclaimed that it looked about 8 feet longer. The location was good but be aware if small rooms and no safes available. Everyone was friendly.

It’s located near to a St. Sebastiano metro Station (less than 10min walk) and El Corte Ingres (grocery store ans restraunts). Clean, decent and quiet room and kind services. Also, its breakfast was great!

Stayed there last year. It is close to the metro which is also connected to the airport. I took a weekly pass so could travel extensively. Very helpful staff. Breakfast was free and excellent. Rooms are small and not much of a view but just to sleep for the night was good enough and very clean. One could always sit in the lobby too which was cheerful. I enjoyed the place. There are a lot of cafes, restaurants and super markets close by.

Rooms were okay, normal hotel type of experience. There kept being a mix up with the pillows, but understand things happen. They give you only 2 flat pillows on a queen bed and requesting 2 more ended up becoming an ordeal. On the flip side the front desk is extremely helpful in helping plan your day and get your bearings around the city. Pedro was super helpful in giving us the low down on local restaurants, how to get on the subway, storing our luggage, he did so much for us. Thank you Pedro.

Great location with many food options within walking distance . The Metro is also very close by. Rooms were clean and the staff was very helpful. Excellent breakfast with a great selection of basic breakfast foods. The pastries were the best. There were some healthy options too if you're into that. If you like coffee, skip the machine they have and walk a block or two to get something at a coffee shop.

Really good and new HIX in a quite central location. The staff is friendly and welcoming and allowed me to check-in early. Rooms are spacious and clean. Also the breakfast is quite good. Will definitely stay again.

We recently stayed here for 4 nights, location was close to the Airport about 10 minute taxi ride, but it was situated about a 45 min walk from the main centre, we walked everywhere, but there was a metro station nearby. Check in was quick & easy. Our room was spacious & very clean, the bathroom was spotless. Breakfast was buffet style & there was plenty to choose from. Drinks from the bar were reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly & helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

This was a great hotel in the Saldanha area of Lisbon. It was very clean, spacious, and provided a great place to rest at the end of our exhausting days exploring the city. The staff was nice. The breakfast wasn't very exciting so I didn't eat it any of the days I was there but I enjoyed the coffee machine. I would recommend as an option if visiting Lisbon.

The rooms were small but very clean and nice. The free breakfast spread was also much better than I was expecting. The croissants and pastry offerings were quite extensive and I enjoyed it. A little far from the center but still walkable and public transport is easy too.

Clean and comfortable stay for us, while we spent a week holidaying in Lisbon. Our room was on 6 th floor, pretty quiet, not very roomy but clean! Free breakfast has plenty items to fill you in even tho I appreciated if they had some savoury dishes too. Front desk staff was very helpful and accommodating , specially Marianna, very pleasant and gentle lady who helped us with the sightseeing. Location wise, it’s in the flat part of city and metro, buses restaurants , grocery and pharmacy were all within walking distance!! Good value for your money! Highly recommend !

Check in was easy and we were greeted with a personalized message printed in our room. The room was immaculate and contemporary. Service was with a smile and the buffet breakfast included many simple, healthy options. It was continuously replenished. We enjoyed our stay. There is a laundromat located 2 blocks away and Lidl is 3 blocks away - very convenient for a family living out of suitcases. The only thing missing was a small fridge. Many of the popular tourist attractions and neighborhoods are further away. However two different train stations are each only 8 minutes walking.

Wonderful hotel! Really clean and modern rooms, yummy breakfast and friendly staff. Not the most central hotel, but the center is easily accessible by metro or by walking! I definitely recommend staying here for your visit to Lisbon!

After we received a confirmation that our room was booked, we got there to hear we do not have a room and they are fully booked. No communication to us before that about cancelling. The attitude of the hotel was, "not our problem" "we do not care". This was late at night and we needed to find a hotel at that time of night. Holiday inn had no interest in trying to help out.

Clean and modern hotel with free breakfast. Not very centrally located but near transit options. You can walk from the hotel to the old city in about 30-40 minutes and it’s an easy walk since it’s downhill. Of course, it’s uphill on the way back so really you have to take the metro or a bus (both of which are easy and will drop you near the hotel)

Great Location. Nice and clean. Enjoyable stay. Friendly customer service. We had a major health and safety issue but it was very well handled by staff with total responsibility and apologies and assurances. I commend the director and staff of the hotel for that. Highly commended customer service by a staff named Marianna Pereira.

The room cleanliness was just questionable. The ceramics coffee cups in my room were just rinsed out by housekeeping never replaced with fresh. Bed linens only changed after 4 days use if I requested. I think that policy should be revisited due to different viral/skin infections going about. Breakfast was included and had scrambled eggs, hot meat, breads for toast, cheese, fruits, cereal, pastries, coffee machines, juice. Pretty good breakfast for me!

Very good value hotel. Conveniently located between two metro stations and with breakfast included. The staff is friendly and happy to help. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. It’s great if you are touring the city and just need a place to sleep while at it. They include internet access, instant coffee packets in the room, and even USB charging ports everywhere, so no need for adapters to charge the phone. The breakfast has a bit of everything: from eggs and cold meats to cereal, fruit and bread. Overall very happy with our stay. My main recommendation to the hotel would be to make coffee available after breakfast in the lobby, as most American hotel chains do.

Relatively new HI Express. Location quiet, but very convenient. Free breakfast was good. My reason for not giving five starts are a few smaller things regarding the service. I received a room with two beds, but I made a reservation for one queen (not a real problem as I was travelling alone, but they could have told me at check-in) and I had two towels with huge holes in them. The space between mirror and sink in the bathroom didn't seem cleaned in a while. Still wouldn't mind visiting again.

The rooms were nice, even came with an iron which was really great since some hotels don't have them. I have to say though my child wasn't so happy with her sofa bed but that's just children being picky. The beds were really comfortable and cozy. The service was nice and understanding when we had a problem they would find a solution and really helped. The location was fantastic near everything. I actually had to go to the dentist and it was right by, it was so practical and I got there as fast as a cheetah! I would really advise everyone to come here!

Very nice, economical hotel. Parking is tricky but once you figure it out it's no problem. Staff were SUPER friendly and helpful. Our luggage was lost on KLM and 3 different staff members bent over backwards to help us try and get it back as quickly as possible. They all spoke English very well, and again, were just SO nice and helpful. We were even allowed a later than normal late check out so we had time to go shopping for new clothes since our luggage didn't come for 2 more days after we left this hotel. I would absolutely stay here again. Top notch.

If anybody is trying to find good deals for hotels visit RoomBuIIy. com booked a hotel on there and they had the best rates anywhere! Excellent choice in a quiet neighborhood. I was checked in by a Spanish lady that was very friendly and informative. Breakfast is rather simple but enough if you nor too picky. New building, new room, very nice bathroom. Not noise even though it's located in a location with some traffic.
