We booked in a bit of a hurry and went without reading any reviews, so we were a bit shocked when we read them on the way. Luckily, we were more than pleasantly surprised. While smell and unfinished rooms semt to be commonly reported issues we did not experience it, instead our room always smelled clean, was tidy, modern and well put together. Very comfortable for our one week long stay. The bathroom is a bit small, but nothing that I personally would complain about. For the price the room is more than would be expected. My personal recommendation would be to add a minibar/fridge, which I would have payed extra for the conviene of having. The service from the staff was 5 stars, everyone was always very helpful and friendly. They recommended good restaurants, helped us print documents and advised us about a day trip to Porto always with good disposition. The only point which we didn’t like was the breakfast. It is important to know that it is booked separately, so it is in a way a separate product. It costs 12€ for 2 people but we got a 2x1 deal, so it isn’t expensive at all. Still you can find better for just a couple € more, and I strongly advise not booking it in advance, and only doing so there and in case of need. The staff was however very understanding and gave us back the money for the days we didn’t take it, and when we did it was because we thought it was worth it. We recommend not taking it, but it didn’t make our experience worse. Overall a clean, tidy hotel with nice rooms and very friendly and attentive staff for a very good price. If I came again to Lisbon, I would stay here again. Ezequiel and Loretta

It's a scam. Photos on booking looks good, but reality is just horrible. The staff may be able to speak English, but they are whispering, so you can't understand them. The rooms are dirty. Because the bathroom is built into the room, the air is terribly humid and smelly. I suspect that the walls are full of mold, just painted over. The beds are made of stiff springs. There is no air conditioning. That's why when you want to ventilate, you have to open the window, to a terribly busy street. The street is busy late into the night. There is an air corridor above the hotel. You can hear a lot through the walls. I came there like I was in prison. Please don't go there.

Stayed only one night at V Dinastia and it was good price to stay to between travels. The apartment is big good enough for 7person with two bathrooms. Bed was comfy and linens were great. The conditions overall are dated and reminded me of the 90's. I liked the breakfast as it had all I like, great croissants, french pastry and good coffee with milk in self service. It also has 24/7 reception which was good.

A fairly primitive hotel located directly on a busy road, so it's quite noisy. The bed was totally hard and uncomfortable, the furnishings spartan there is no air conditioning and so you sweat a lot at night. The breakfast was also simple as standard, including water-orange juice from the machine, everything tasted awful. Cleaning the room every day, which is common in any other hotel, is not the case here either. The price of €80 per night is in no way justified. We can certainly agree that the price is only paid because Lisbon enjoys extreme tourist flows and the hotels can pretty much do whatever they want. In Germany such a primitive hotel would cost at most half. You don't have to have it again

It was the worst hotel I was ever in. The first thing I saw when I opened my door was the sink, right there in the room. The bed was old, noisy, and not comfortable. The toilet had the pipes on the outside and had an awful smell. The cleaning overall was not good as well. Avoid this place!

The stay was awesome as well as the views. I didn't like the hidden costs. Tourist TAX, parking (paid but not invoiced), breakfast expensive 7€ per head.

Just a normal guesthouse. Room's were good but tiny, AC worked and the bathroom was clean. Nothing special but nothing to complain about either.

Good place for a short stay and if your purpose is to only sleep in the hotel. The rooms were enough. One way there was a water dripping from a ceiling in the bathroom, but the guy from reception quickly intervened. Room was cleaned every day. Breakfasts are totally not worth it - they cost 7€. Coffee machine does not work properly (there are some coffees that are not made and you end up only with water in your mug). Milk from the coffee machine seems to be mixed with water (and this is the only way to eat cereals). Juice as well. If something runs out (eg. Cheese, ham, or tea, it is not re-filled). Guy at the reception is the best thing about this place - he explained to us what we should see in Lisbon and recommended amazing places.

The hotel has its pros and cons. Pros: * fantastic location, close to everything - both on foot, by metro, bus and tram * very close to cheap shops and cafes * very comfortable bed * very nice and helpful staff, speaking excellent English. minuses: * I got a different room than in the picture, much smaller and uglier * very tight * there is huge humidity in the room, the towels did not dry, there was fungus on the wall and it was unpleasant *dirty * due to the humidity, I had to open the window - the only one, facing the street. meanwhile, it was probably the noisiest place I've ever stayed, and I've slept in places like Bangkok, Naples and Los Angeles... a tragedy. I had the impression that cars, motorcycles, trucks and planes were passing right next to my head. It was impossible to sleep because of the noise, and it was difficult to breathe because of the humidity. horrible. In general, I recommend it to people who want a cheap and well-connected hotel, regardless of the conditions...

Nice and simple hotel. A bit over priced to my eyes.

The room is good enough for the price. Air condition working under 34 degree hot day. A very good location, close to metro or walk 25mins to town. The staff is nice. Some smell in the room but fade out if window open a while. some nice local cafe and restaurant around.

Great service with good facilities. The room is clean, the internet is fast(30Mbps/4Mbps), and the breakfast is decent. Price is also good. It is 10 minutes walk from a park that is nice for jogging. There are also small shops and restaurants with the 10 min walk range. Currently they are offering free parking.

The room was fantastically priced. Make sure you let them know you will need parking as it's limited. It costs an additional €9 for parking. The room is very very basic but it has everything you need as a base to go out and spend all your time in the city instead. The metro/bus/tram stops are only a 2 minute walk down the hill. The staff were so friendly, helpful and welcoming!

Apartments are tired but huge with plenty of space and can walk around town. Clean, lots of towels and the staff are so very helpful. No air con so sorry hot on a hot night and as it's central, so can be noisy
