What an amazing place! The atmosphere, the people, the food the vibe! This is an hidden gem few hundreds meters from Oriente Station. The place is nice designed, plenty of spaces to eat, don’t get fooled by the main lobby, you might think is a small place but is not. Food is great, sweets are great! Well done The Fifties

What a great experience. The decor of the venue was amazing. A lot of attention to detail. The food was also great. Good quality burgers with good quality beef. Staff was friendly and polite. I’m looking forward to return. I do recommend this place :)

The environment is great, quite thematic… the music is good and not very loud. The Milkshake was tasty but half of the glass was whipped cream so a bit frustrating indeed. The fries were good but my overall review is that everything is a bit overpriced n terms of food. Basically you pay more because of the fun that the place offers .

Cute place! Service is prompt and the food we had was good. They have only beers 🍺as alcoholic beverages. Nachos and the sampler were very good! Loved the sense of humor in the menu 😂

The Fifties Diner, Lisbon: The 50’s are back with a kitschy vengeance. This was the most fun and gawking restaurant we went to in Lisbon. Forget the posh, Lisbon must-eat staples and celebrity chefs, this was fun fun fun. There are 2 floors of kitsch fun and memorabilia – from Elvis, Marilyn Monroe to Betty Boo and the good ol’ jukebox, chev’s and the classic diner interiors and fittings. There is also a 50’s dancing reel playing on the telly. Your IG feed will be bursting with shots. We couldn’t eat much as we had a meal just prior and a dinner coming up, so we squeezed in veggie nachos and the classic American brownie with vanilla ice cream, topped with cream. All food all calo-fatty-rific so diet is tossed out of the window. The bake section is so fantastically yummy. You smell and see fresh apple pies rotating. It’s a pity we’re visiting, otherwise this will be back on my return list. #eatstylishtravelstylish

Lisbon, and Portugal altogether, doesn't have a diner tradition, so it was with curiosity but also some skepticism that I visited this restaurant. Service was nice and the place was very tidy and clean. The food, however, was not what I had anticipated. The chocolate milkshake (with whipped cream) was thick and at a very good temperature, but was too sweet for me. The skillet cookie with ice-cream had a good texture, but unfortunately had a hazelnut flavor (in the chocolate), which I don't like at all -- I specifically asked if there were any type of nuts in the cookie, to which I was told there weren't. After all that sugar, I felt like finishing off the meal with something savory and ordered the cheesy french fries, which were good. Prices are above average and, in my point of view, too high for what is presented. Nonetheless, overall it was not a bad experience, so I'll eventually go back when in the neighborhood to try one of their burgers.

Such vibrant vibes. Good menu selections for vegetarians which taste okay. The desert however is superb from selections to taste; you won’t be disappointed. A great restaurant for date nights but it can get full. We were aware of this fact hence we came early. One thing to note, the float on the menu is without ice-cream. It says float but it’s just normal soda. The ice-cream is an addition (which u have to say and pay extra)

The size of hot dog is small ;-) the fudge cake is really tasty. They have a theme of '50's the Elvis Presley times :) you can get the feel of old times though I ve just watched the old times on tv or movies but I identify with the jukebox ! Enjoy.

As a Canadian in Portugal I was fascinated to see how they interpreted an American 50s drive in diner. The attention to the details to make it authentic (the decor) is just fabulous to see. It could be in Toronto, Buffalo, Orlando … any place in North America and it would fit right in. It’s clearly not a chain or run by an American ex-pat. The food is a Portuguese’ take on Americana. I had their starter platter and each item was clearly diner food but done just a little differently. It was flavorful and fascinating. My partner and I both liked both the presentation and tastes. The hamburger was excellent - extremely well seasoned. She had Mac and cheese with a chicken breast. We both noticed just subtle flavors like olive oil where you’d not normally find it. It didn’t spoil it at all. The best (and funniest) part was “American pancakes” for dessert- which were literally pancakes with butter and maple syrup. This is a cute, cool little place from the pink uniforms for the girls (or jeans and white shirts for the boys). We’ll worth having our unexpected stay in Lisbon extended for one last meal.

Always want to have meal here as there are always many people inside. Eventually had an opportunity. Tried two kinds of burger and they were delicious. The cheezy chips were really devil (if u are on diet, need to control not to have too much😝)

From the moment you walk through the doors, you're greeted by an explosion of retro décor, complete with checkered floors and vintage booth seating. The menu has classic American diner fare, like juicy burgers, milkshakes, and fries, for reasonable prices. The diner gets really involved in American holidays. For Halloween, the entire diner was covered in Halloween decor, and the staff decked out in full faces of skeleton makeup. The staff even performed a high-energy live singing & dancing show featuring a spooky Elvis and Marilyn Monroe. If you're looking for a taste of Americana in the heart of Lisbon, this diner is the perfect spot. With its authentic atmosphere, friendly service, and delicious food, it's no wonder this place is a local favorite.

Pretty nice experience when not too packed with people. The food is good but for the price of the burgers you still need to buy a side of fries and if you want to drink a lemonade it's almost 5€. A bit expensive in my opinion and it's mostly more hyped because of the theme of the restaurant. The staff is friendly!

What do you do when you miss the homey and classic feel of an old diner? Why, the Fifties Diner of course. My wife and I went here for lunch on our Anniversary and we very much enjoyed it. The food was top notch, the service delightful, and the atmosphere warm and inviting with a unique aesthetic. We will most certainly be back soon.

This restaurant is like walking back to the fifties, I wouldn’t say is cheap but gives you an experience. Perfect if you are in the mood to grab a burger with a milkshake. We where a little upset with the chips cause was a really small portion to share it between two, but the rest was good. It can get really busy if you go at pick time.

The place makes an admirable effort to look like a 50s diner, with great success and while going into details. The food, however, is mediocre with nothing to write home about. A chicken sandwich that was recommended turned out to be too dry (they charge you for ordering extra sauce) and the coleslaw had too much dressing.

The space is pretty fun and interesting. The table service is also very kind and attentive. The only reason I put 4* it's because of the price/quality. Don't get me wrong, the food was good but not great. I don't think their burgers are worth more than 7€ (they are mostly listed at 10/11€).
