Where do I start. We sat down and after about 10 minutes they gave us their menu. No welcome nothing, just throwing the menu onto the table. The burger "honorato" had no taste, the meat was still raw and bloody in the middle. And there was some sort of string in there. The fries were tastless and some were still frozen. The vegetarian burger was HORRIBLE. The patty was mushy and tastless. (maybe microwaved idk) I had to remove it to be able to even swallow that burger. Staff was extremely slow, unfriendly and unprofessional. Everyone of them. When we got our burgers (after waiting way too long) we still didn't have the water we ordered. We asked a waiter if he could check. He got mad because he wasn't responsible for our table. (didn't even get the right water in the end) When we asked for the bill he told us "Let me slow please". 0 out of ten. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!

What to say about Honorato Rio? The pros are that the location is great, it has plenty of seating capacity, and the menu is simple enough to choose quickly. Cons: it's a bit of a glorified burger joint with long wait times. The relationship between price and value grows further apart the more you think about it, though, because it's a bit overpriced for the size of the meal. They have a regular size and a mini-sized option, but when my regular sized burger came out, it I seriously thought I was being served a mini one instead, except for when I looked at another table's order and saw that the mini is literally a slider-sized burger.... Flavor-wise, I really want to say that mine was really good (the Monsieur), but my wife's (the Mush) was nothing special, and what saves them is that they serve a good portion of fries, and they serve sweet potato fries as an upgrade. Something that really struck me was that they have adopted to add a 5% gratuity to your bill. I'm really thankful that the person bringing the bill (different from our server) did point it out to me so I could decide, which in turn gave me a chance to explain why my experience wasn't deserving of one. All in all, I wouldn't necessarily go back, u less, you're looking to have a lighter meal and decide to have the burger with a salad, which is another option.

Decent burgers, and nice decor. Service was rather slow and staff not very helpful.

Havent been here for a while. They changed a bit the menu in which now only offer one size for hamburger. The taste is still good and like their sweet potato chips. They are a chain and can find easily in Lisbon.

Great burgers with a nice and chill vibe. I only had the simpler one, but it was very juicy. Great non alcoholic drinks. Nice view to the river and very nice staff.

Nice place to seat with overpriced burgers. Good 🍺 If you ask for one "imperial". High noon is at every Saturday lunch time with nice sunny weather, but still only worth the wait if you get (reservation can be made also online) one of the tables with river view.

Beautiful outdoor space and the food and drinks were wonderful. Only downside was the server mixed p our order and brought out the wrong dishes. Got corrected but just took a while. Overall a good experience, just wish the service was a bit better.

1/3 of what we ordered did not show up; sure, later it was on the bill. So much staff, so little attention. And finally, even the kids didn’t like the burger.

Great burgers, salad, fries and cocktails. The place is nice, not too noisy, the chairs are a little bit uncomfortable because you can't push them all the way to the front. I didn't like that the server forgot 2 of the things we asked and I really didn't like that optional gratuity request at the end that comes by default unless we want to remove it, we all know we can tip, saying that is a dirty trick which can easily put people in uncomfortable positions.

came here in December and it was quiet, I had a vegetarian burger and my friend had normal burger & amazing dessert to share!! cozy place and the cocktail was pretty amazing as well!! would definitely like to go back again!

Honorato is a fun little burger joint in the modern Expo part of Lisbon. The food is great and prices are quite fair. Take a seat outside and enjoy the view of the ocean and the cable carts swinging across the skyline. Be aware that the service is just atrocious. If you want your waiters to be friendly go a few doors down to Honest Greens. And watch out for the added 5% gratuity on the bill. The first smaller amount is the actual bill without the tip included.

Had the Vegetariano burger, light lentil patty. Was good. Friendly staff, cool vibes.

As per my 10 year old, the harshest critic, these are the the best burgers in the world!

We were staying on a nearby hotel and decided to go somewhere close by for our last evening in Lisboa. There were 5 of us, and we were all skeptical about eating at an artisanal hamburger place but decided to go anyway. I had the Rossini hamburger, the other people in the group had the Picanha, IL Goloso and two people decided on the Hot Mex burger. The burgers are on the smaller side and not cheap (15€-16€) but everyone in the group agreed that these burgers were outstanding and probably the best hamburgers they've had anywhere. In the last 40 years I've eaten plenty of hamburgers at many different restaurants in Canada, the US and in Portugal which claim to be the best, the burger I had at Honorato Rio was in fact the best. The restaurant was extremely busy when we visited, service was on the slow side as a result. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the food and beverages which they were serving. The service rating I have given is in the mid-range not because of the slow service but rather because the Mojito my adult daughter ordered when she had almost eaten her meal was never delivered but it was included on the bill. When I brought this to the attention of our waitress, she was apologetic and delivered the Mojito shortly afterwards.

Good variety of burgers and drinks. The burgers themselves are well made and with some attention to detail... including the veggie burger. The drinks can be the normal beer, water or some juices like lemonade or others with a funny "twist"... like the "Berry Good" made with red berries. They are fairly quick to serve even in a busy day like Friday lunch.

Best burgers at the former Expo 98 area, now known as parque das Nações. Great tasting meat, out of the box combinations and sauces, loved it

Great cocktails, good burgers. Service was good even though it was very crowded.

Absurd waiting times, with the restaurant being almost empty. Spent almost 2h there for just eating a burger with a drink. And then they even have the audacity of already applying a tip suggestion to the bill that you explicitly have to decline if you don’t want to pay it. Food was OK but nothing special and somewhat overpriced. All in all pretty chaotic and nothing I would go to again nor recommend to anyone.

The service was horrible; the waitress was super rude and not friendly. The food was good - the fry sauce is amazing - but the servers really brought the mood down. They included a 5% tip in the bill even though they didn't deserve it. I was really disappointed and shocked by their manners :(
