This is a stone and brick striped lighthouse situated on Tagus River promenade and in between the Belem Tower and the Monument to the Discoveries. You will pass by it if walking between the two. It is surrounded by a gated fence so appears to be no intention of making use of the historic building for tourism purposes at present. Have a look while passing by or while grabbing a bite to eat or drink at the small kiosks and pop ups nearby.

A small, small lighthouse that is probably not going to draw your attention. Located between the monument and the Belem Tower, both of which are much more impressive

Read it’s historic but unfortunately, could see. It’s been abandoned and little to no care has been given to this monument. It looks dated old and definitely has a history to be Bécon.

Old lighthouse between the Belém tower and the monument of discoveries. It is nice to see this building on the way as it is differently designed compared to more northern European lighthouses. However, it is not worth just passing by at this lighthouse.

A chill little light house between the bigger tourist spots you can easily check out for free along the walk.

I spotted this landmark first after my tour of the Belem Tower ended prematurely. It was about a 5-10 mins walk away so it was pretty easy to reach. You can see it in the distance after aligning with it from afar. It's slightly leaning to one side and is fenced off. There is no way of checking it out properly although it looks like it needs some restoring to do. There is an outdoor gym nearby to rest a little while checking out the lighthouse. It's not particularly exciting other than taking some photos. Alright for a quick drop off before continuing on your merry way!

(Translated by Google) This is just a glimpse of the bus. It was something I could not understand at all unless told by the tour operator. (-_-;) I'm seeing it on Google Maps, but it's useless without preparation. ‥ This time around, the Canary Islands are the main, and I don't know where or where on each island, so I was fainted at the last port of call. After all, there are many things that I can not understand unless I stay.

The Belém Lighthouse in Lisbon is a magical destination. The idyllic location on the coast and the picturesque sea views are impressive. The historical significance of the lighthouse gives it additional charm. The interior is designed to be informative and provides interesting insights into Portugal's maritime history. The visit is well organized and the staff is friendly and helpful. The view from the top of the lighthouse is breathtaking and offers an unforgettable view of the Lisbon coast. The surrounding landscape invites you to take relaxing walks. A perfect place to experience the beauty and richness of the Portuguese coastal landscape.

Belem is the charming district to the west of Lisbon, and is the setting for many of the city’s most iconic tourist attractions. Originally, Belem was the location of Lisbon’s shipyards and docks, and from here departed the 15th-century voyages that discovered the sea routes to India, East Africa and Brazil.

The tower is located next to the promenade. It has its charm, but it is not a place to visit. In March 2024, it was fenced with a fence.

Smaller than expected. Yes I could make a double entendre here, but the point is that from a lot of photos, you think it’s going to be a full-blown lighthouse. It’s not. This seems like something by from a reproduction or possible a mini-golf hole. On top of that, it’s fenced off on the bottom.

Most of the photos you are going to see are going to give it scale that it doesn't have. Stop and take a pic on your way between the monument and the tower, but if you're coming here for the lighthouse, you'll be disappointed.

Unfortunately, the lighthouse needs renovation. It is in very bad condition, which is why it is surrounded by a cordon. It's very cozy though, it deserves to be put in order. It fits perfectly into the view of the coast.

Nice location. There is nothing more and nothing less to see than this very tower. But there are some nice food trucks around it for eating and drinking. The promenade runs past here, which leads to the monument and from which you have a wonderful view.

Nice building, one of the attractions on the way to the beach. However, the fence around it is less tasteful, and even a lighting would be very spectacular.

Light house is an old and nonfunctional lighthouse but the bar next to it plays cool music and is a good place to rest and get a drink or two.

(Translated by Google) It is a lighthouse made of orange bricks that I saw as I walked towards the Belem Tower on the banks of the Tejo River from the Monument of Explorers. This was done within the scope of the fair in 1940 like other places, but it was not used as a real lighthouse. It stands surrounded.

(Translated by Google) The lighthouse of Bélem is just 8 meters high and so inconspicuous that most tourists walk by without even noticing the lighthouse. Unfortunately, it looks a bit shabby, which is why a building grille has been set up around the bottom for many years to protect against possibly falling stones. From my point of view, a lot more could be made of it. It was built in 1865 and stands on the banks of the Tagus between the Torre de Bélem and the monument to the explorers, Padrão dos Descobrimentos.

An historical relique, this lighthouse could be better preserved. It marks an ancient entrance for a customs dock (which is no longer there) and building (which is currently a museum). Along this pave walk you can find multiple monuments. You can also use it for running out cycling.

IMPORTANT! Go early in the day or around lunchtime to avoid a 1-2 hour queue to get in. Due to the size of the place, as visitors leave, others enter in batches. Get your tickets first at a booth a few meters away coming in the direction of the Monastery. Price €8 per adult, special prices for children and family. On Mondays, like most places, they are closed inside. As for the place, it is worth it for its architecture and historical context. I didn't mind waiting so long because of the tourist influx, it's understandable. Inside there is nothing real estate and only on the ground floor you will find some cannons pointing towards the windows. You won't miss too much if you don't pay to enter, just seeing it from the outside is more than enough. If you look at it calmly you will spend about 30-45 minutes inside. From the outside it is spectacular, you can have a good time relaxing with its surroundings and taking many pose photos. I do not recommend it for people with reduced mobility. From the second floor, access to the next two floors is through a spiral staircase with numerous steps, obviously easily accessible to anyone without mobility problems. That said, I hope it helps you and you enjoy it.

On the right is the time required for the Lisbon card. A fixed number of people entered the left and right rows alternately. We were able to enter the ticket in 30 minutes, but there was nothing special. The view is also inferior to the monuments found. Considering the matrix, I guess just the appearance is enough.
