Through the years I’ve seen Este Oeste being either a great restaurant or a wasted potential. The location was always great, decor as well, the food through several tweaks in the menu always kept the high standards. Now the service was the problematic part. Depending on the manager at the time you could either have a great experience or be on the brink of exploding from trying to make a reservation to waiting too long just to get the wrong order… I’m happy to report that yesterday I’ve found Este Oeste in one of the best shapes ever, everything perfect, great vibe between team members (yup it also affects your lunch) and overall honoring its potentiality the maximum. Congratulations to all the management and team, keep it up 💪👏👏👏👏

Very nice place, employees could improve their humor. The view is amazing and the food delicious. The cocktails need some improvements, too sweet. Overall nice experience and the prices make sense.

We were able to walk in as a party of seven and be seated relatively quickly. Whole we waited for a seating we were in a very nice lounge area that had a beautiful aesthetic , perfect for taking pictures. Wi-Fi was also available, which was a plus as a traveler with no phone service. After being seated it waiter attendee to us very quickly and we were able to play our orders and get food in about 20 minutes. The food was delicious 10 out of 10 recommend. I had sushi as well as dim sum, and then had tiramisu for dessert. I would definitely recommend this place when visiting Portugal.

Prices are acceptable given the location but the place is definitely more expensive than most restaurants in central Lisbon. (3 stars) Service: this is where the restaurants fails to deliver. After waiting 15 minutes to place an order, I had to wait another 20+ minutes before I could pay my bill even though I reminded the waitress (Carla?) three times that I wanted to pay. when bringing the starter and entree, she just put down the food without a word. I did receive a 10% discount for the long waiting time than she at least acknowledged. (2 stars -(1 star without the apology in the end)) Overall, a disappointing experience for a premium establishment.

The food was nice but one staff was particularly rude and unfriendly. We could see that it was a busy place and we waited about 20 mins before letting the waitress Pamela know we were ready to order. She goes and serves all the other table, leaving us hanging so we waved again to let her know we are ready to order. She comes over in a very bad mood and when we ask her a question, she says very rudely “I don’t speak English” - fair enough but she has a bad attitude towards foreigners. She just leaves; goes over to another waiter and laughs. What is so funny? Didn’t even take our order. People like this should not be working in hospitality. Another guy Hygor comes over and is very friendly. Super helpful and stayed as our server during our time.

Este Oeste has great food and atmosphere at all times. Reservations are a must. Lots of customers, so prompt service at peak hours may not get your food and bill fast enough. Nevertheless, it is our preferred restaurant in the CCB area.

Worst service experience since being in Lisbon. Long day touring castles only to decide to eat in this restaurant. We waited 20 min just to have someone drop off drink menu! Then "I'll be right back" we finally asked someone to take our order. The food came and was good. We then waited for someone to come back and take order for desserts....another 20 min wait! We then asked the waiter for our check, he then wanted to show us desserts on the menu. Seriously, not one ounce of detail to helping us. This easily should be a self serve come to the counter and order restaurant! We won't be returning and unless you have nothing but time, don't go here. As tourists this was our first negative experience.

Great hidden gem in belem, specially far away from crowded tourist spots. Service was kinda relax but i visited during a not busy time, order took almost 30 mins to be served. Has an usual clean garden where you can leave the kids playing while relaxing in the shade of the deck, enjoying a cold drink or a nice brunch Gorgeous view!!

We stumbled upon Este Oeste - the name literally means East West because it brings together Japanese and Italian food. I didn't know what to make of it at first but the dishes were really creative - at least the few that we ordered. Located in the cultural center of Belem, the Este Oeste is a really propose Italian and Japonese food wich is delicious. I had a Spaghetoni and some mochi as a dessert. The meals are well served and the quality of service is excellent. There is also a calm bar at the entrance from where you can work during the afternoon, wich make the place a perfect step in the day of a remote worker or student.

We asked if they had space. They said 15 minutes. 30 minutes later they said ‘oh we are fully booked’. Well then don’t say 15 minutes if you don’t have space.

Este Oeste had an amazing sushi brunch the first time we went. Now they have changed the menu and I can say it is still great but with a new concept of 'you do your own sushi'. The plate has the algy, the salmon, the rice and some more ingredients and you create your own rolls to eat. It also has a muso soup and pancakes. I think its very original but if your only in the mood to eat (without having to work for it) , it might not be the best option.
