Dr Cátia Rodrigues is wonderful! My husband is português and I am American, we have been TTC for years now and we’ve also sought out clinics in the United States. We were scammed thousands of dollars in America while seeking help for IVF. My husband reassured me we could go to a clinic in Portugal so he being a researcher, investigated all clinics all over Portugal because we are willing to do anything for this baby... he found that Malo clinic had the best lab results and we care more about lab results because that’s where our baby is going to be first handled! We have Dr Cátia Rodrigues and she is brilliant! We couldn’t be happier, she is very informative and straight to the point. I am very comfortable with her because she is not selling us our procedure, you can feel she really cares about our results ending in a baby. We’ve had a couple of hiccups but there are somethings in life we cannot control, such as infertility! We are having our FET in two days and regardless of the outcome, we are satisfied. We are comfortable knowing our baby’s first babysitter, the embryologist is taking great care in looking after her/him. Hopefully won’t have to return but if we are in the position to need more fertility treatment we will be with Dr Cátia. THANK YOU TO ALL THE STAFF! After receiving very poor care at the Cemeare clinic, through Dr Jorge Costa (who I wouldn't recommend to anyone), I moved to Ginemed and I couldn't be more satisfied! The doctor who followed me was always Dr Jose Luís Metello, a fantastic doctor, very human and who made me feel from the beginning that his goal was for me to get pregnant. I have never, ever felt like I was just a “money-making” machine. Everyone at that clinic is impeccable, from the doctors to the girls at the reception. Thank you for everything!

A Dra Cláudia Tomas é fantástica, super recomendo. Carismática mas muuuito profissional, vai direto ao ponto sem falsas promessas, mas faz o máximo para que o resultado seja positivo. No meu caso a transferência foi feita, ainda não sei o resultado mas essa médica e a equipe do laboratório, anestesista, urologista e enfermagem também tem minha admiração. O único ponto que ao meu ver deve ser aprimorado urgente é questão da comunicação financeira que deve ser muito mais transparente. Não gostei da abordadem mas graças a Alexandra também isso se resolveu. Portanto, recomendo a clínica.

In my case I did an artificial insemination, the entire process was carried out by Dr J.M online and by phone, since I do not reside in Portugal. When he notifies me of the day it is my turn for insemination, he tells me that he will not be at the clinic that day and therefore Dr. A.P will do it for me, which I did not like. I arrive and wait an hour, they take me to the insemination room and I see the sperm on a table, I ask if that is it and the assistant (the only kind person) tells me yes, she prepares it with her back to me and gives it to her. to the doctor and at no point does he show me the syringe, only when he has supposedly inseminated me, does he tell me: That's it. I ask to lie down for a while and he says no. Those moments are very nerve-wracking and I honestly felt like it was earned. This Dr. from the moment I entered the room until the moment I left demonstrated that she had no empathy at all, since at all times she showed a cold and distant treatment. The last thing a woman undergoing these treatments needs is treatment like that. The final result was negative, and when I notified Dr J.M, he sent me a message via WhatsApp that it seems he had prepared to send in these cases and he no longer contacts me. What a shame that something as beautiful as being able to help women fulfill their dream of being mothers is overshadowed by such a lack of sensitivity.

It was once an excellent clinic, full of “space” for clients, now in addition to not being heard, it seems like I'm trying to schedule an appointment for another specialty in a hospital and almost as a please. It's a shame because it was my clinic of choice, but, therefore, it's better to move to another one that has more availability and that doesn't seem like they're doing you a favor, this creates even more stress for those experiencing infertility. My experience was simply perfect. I am 16 weeks pregnant with Júlia at 42 years old. My story was one of a lot of suffering and struggle as I had undergone IVF at another clinic which didn't work, with some wrong diagnoses. A long and complicated story. Until I decided to change clinics and Dr Cátia Rodrigues was recommended by my gynecologist. I just have to thank all the affection and care from the Doctor to the nursing team and the laboratory members. This clinic is human. Dr Cátia is an experienced professional, knows what she is doing, competent, all my doubts and anxieties were calmed by her. After being pregnant and the positive outcome I had dreamed of, she still attended to me 2 more times and her team still sends me emails to this day asking about my pregnancy❤️. Very disappointed with my 1st appointment with Dr Catia Rodrigues on the 10th of September 2019. This doctor was very cold and had no simpath with me and my partner. I also work in health care and I always make sure that our patients are treated with simpath. I wondering if she see a phycologist to learn how to deal with people emotions instead of only think about how much the procedure will cost it. I just want to say that I left the clinic very sad and I had the worse day Dr Catia Rodrigues after we talked you. However I'm glad that God put in our lives another clinic that gave the best care we could ask for. Please next time think before you talk to your patients or not patients as this treatment is very sensitive. We need a good clinic to get help but also we need a good support too. I'm only writing on here because I know there are lots of couple that are looking for help and I dont want nobody to go trough with a bad experience like us!!!

The friendliness prevails from the reception to the nurses and assistants and especially my doctor Dr. Cátia Rodrigues, who is spectacular!! He was super sensitive to our problem and is a super careful, attentive, professional and caring person. We are super satisfied with all the follow-up and, here, in this clinic, we got our positive result (in our case, in the first IVF/ECT which was very good) I recommend it 100%!!!
