We had an amazing experience on the Sintra Tour (with Peña Palace & Quinta da Regaleira). Andre our driver and guide was such a great friendly host providing some excellent insight to our visit and of Portugal. The format was brilliantly structured, reducing queuing/waiting times by staying ahead of the bigger coach tour groups. This combined with quick briefing before entering each attraction on how best to go around meant we could make the most of the day. The car was very modern, clean and comfortable with air conditioning. Would definitely recommend for those looking to explore Sintra.

We took a day trip to Sintra along with the Pina Palace and Quinta de regalia. What an amazing trip this was! I highly recommend this to anybody and not to miss any of these stops this tour makes. Quinta was one of the most amazing things I've ever seen in my life and I will always remember it. The tour itself was relaxed, friendly, and very informative! I was astounded how much historical information our guide had. There was never long moments of silence as he always had some interesting story or information piece to share with us. He made sure everybody was comfortable, and even with our varying physical abilities, nobody felt that they were 'lagging behind'. On top of the great day itself, our guide offered lots of great tips for the rest of our stay in Portugal and Lisbon, which we used especially about the Fado show and are very thankful for that! It was an absolutely wonderful day and I highly recommend this tour group to anyone.

Andre was an amazing tour guide! So knowledgable, interesting and accommodating. He looked after us and ensured we got to see everything on our list. His English is perfect, his manner welcoming and we highly recommend any tour this company does.

I am a solo traveler that usually prefers to do trips on my own schedule but this a tour I would recommend for everyone. The guide Filipa was amazing! She spoke multiple languages and knew the answer to anything the group had questions about. I can’t recommend her service enough. Easily the best part of my trip to Lisbon. I am headed to Porto next and she even gave me recommendations on where to go, what to eat, and what to see while I’m there. Amazing tour guide and an even better person! We left this tour for our last day in Lisbon and I must say that it was such a lovely experience. Sintra was the cherry on the cake including the other places we visited. The guide was fantastic with a good and understanding explanation of the interesting places we visited and the photos are a wonderful memory of this. It’s a must for every tourist so just don’t miss visiting Sintra 👍

Our day trip to Sintra palace was a super unique experience definitely the highlight of our trip. Andre was amazing! Polite, caring with his guests, giving us amazing information about local culture and Portuguese history. His English was also impeccable!!! Amazing fact is that we were literally the first visitors to enter Pena palace and thnks to Andre's meticulous planning we enjoyed the visit avoiding the hudge crowds.

I can’t say enough good things about this tour! The itinerary was excellent and everything was well organized. The van was also very comfortable and our guide Filipa was so kind and knowledgeable. We were in a small group and were given plenty of time to explore on our own, which we really appreciated. What an incredible day with Andre checking out Sintra. I always love having a local who can guide you around and the knowledge they share. We started early to beat the crowds at the Pena Palace and he gave us a great history lesson on the ride up as well as a “game plan” on how to maximize our time there. The 2nd palace he did the exact same thing giving us the history prior and we were able to explore the grounds on our own. Unlike other tours where you’re togeer in a large group following a flag Andre gave us time to go explore on our own and then meet up which I loved. We had lunch in Sintra where he booked us tables at a tapas restaurant so we weren’t waiting then we had time to explore the city. Finally we drove to the western most point of Europe and down the coast into Cascias to walk the bay The whole day was great and he was sharing stories of Sintra and Portugal from when he grew up there. Couldn’t recommend this tour enough. I’m sure others are good but the structure of the day was incredible and gave a memorable experience

We took the small group Sintra tour and it was a great day. Very informative, fun, and comfortable. Andre was fantastic and I'd highly recommend this company. He got us close drop offs to everything and we were the first into the Pena Palace, which was perfect for photos without as many people in them.

Andre was a skillful guide and displayed expertise through out the day. It is tough to balance between too much attention and too little and he seemed to 'hit the nail on the head' as we would say. Also, the day did not feel rushed and his driving was 'spot on' as Brits might say. We were disappointed that Pena Palace was not possible.

Had a fantastic day in Sintra and on the coast! Sintra is simply stunning and the whole day was relaxed and really enjoyable. Filipa was an exceptional guide - enthusiastic, informative, warm and friendly which helped make the day even more enjoyable and special. Would highly recommend!!

Had a wonderful afternoon with Filipa of Portuguese for a Day Tours. I saw places in Lisbon I would never have found and tasted wonderful food starting with bifana and ending with pastel de nata and coffee. Filipa shared the history of the sites as well as a few tips for future exploration. I highly recommend a tour. Fun, informative and tasteful!

Had a lovely day tour with the most amazing tour guide who was very informative and friendly. We explored the sites at our own pace and had an amazing lunch. The guide suggested many restaurants and places, all the ones we ate at were lovely so we have faith in trying the suggestions while in Lisbon! Would definitely reccomend this tour for a lovely day out.

Our day trip was absolutely fantastic, 10/10, couldn't recommend highly enough. We've been on many excursions and tours before, but everything about today was on a whole new level. Our guide was so easy to chat with, he was incredibly attentive and made the whole experience personal and we'll remember today forever. The Wine Tour at Companhia das Lezirias was brilliant - we learnt all about the local winemaking process and able to taste their selection of wines at the end. Lunch was outstanding, sampling the finest Portuguese cuisine, then the afternoon was spent visiting a family owned estate (as friendly as our host) who introduced us to all of their amazing animals. We'd never ridden horses before, so this was particularly special. Outstanding experience, a must do if you're in Portugal.

My friends and I took a day tour to Sintra which included stops at Cabo de Roca and Cascais. Our tour guide André was fantastic. He was so knowledgeable about the towns and the sights and gave us plenty of time to explore on our own. Tickets were pre purchased to save time and we were even picked up at our hotel. He also provided us numerous recommendations on restaurants and other things to do in Lisbon. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a guided tour of these locations.

I would very highly recommend this tour! Andre was a fantastic guide; he gave us lots of useful and interesting information about the places we visited and also a real insight to Portuguese life. We had the most amazing day ever with Filipa, our tour guide. She responded quickly to every email and told us where to meet her to start our day (which was a 1 min walk from our place of stay). We left early in the morning and had the first entrance into Pena Palace. We were ahead of the crowds all day which was awesome! She was so personable and so knowledgeable about all of Lisbon, Sintra (and surrounding area) and it’s history! It was just us on the tour that day and she was super flexible if we wanted a little extra time at a certain stop and answered all of our questions! Overall, this was one of the best guided tours we’ve ever been on and we were thoroughly impressed with everything we saw and learned that day!

The Sintra Tour was amazing. Filipa was our tour guide for the 1-day excursion and she was wonderful. The entire day trip was planned extremely well. She was very knowledgeable and very friendly. She made us feel very welcomed and her knowledge of the area and the points of interest is unremarkable. It was one of the best one-day excursions we’ve ever taken in all our years of travelling!

This private tour to Sintra, which included Peña Park, Quinta da Regaleira, Casias and the most western point of continental Europe was by far the best tour myself and my partner have ever been on. The authentic, genuine passion from André for what he does and the tours he presents is what makes the day so fantastic. There wasn’t a second of the 8/9 hour day trip that dragged or felt rushed. It’s a perfectly manicured, slick and incredible journey from start to finish. His knowledge on Lisbon is second nature, but his fluency in English is also outstanding! I don’t want to spoil the excitement of the day by going into too much detail, but we had an absolutely incredible and memorable tour that has become the highlight of our Lisbon holiday …by far! Amazing private tour! Worth every penny. Personalize to your pace and the guide is very knowledgeable and super nice. We were with our 4yo and our 6yo and without this tour, we would have not be able to visit Sintra and the palace. We barely waited 5-10min to enter the site vs the rest they waited hours in line. Do yourself a favor and book with these guys, you won't regret it!

First off, Andre is one of the best guides we've ever had. So friendly, personable, and knowledgeable. Having a guide that's vaccinated and required masks in van is helpful. This all day trip included pena palace, sintra town for lunch, cascais and continental Europe's western most point. Each site was great and this tour gave a great introduction to come back to visit sintra. Thanks Andre!!!

We got Filippa as our driver and guide and she was awesome! Very knowledgeable about the areas and was able to give us tips and suggestions on how to navigate the area. One of our group had some issues with the uphill walk at Peña Palace and she was great about checking in and waiting on her! She gave good recommendations for food and also made an extra stop at the end for us to get gelato! Overall amazing experience….would recommend 1000%!
