This station is massive. There are 4 sets of escalators to get into the station. If there are accessibility concerns, check ahead to make sure the elevator is functioning. There are multiple ticket machines to buy tickets. The machine languages are available in Portuguese and English.

Super pretty neighborhood in Lisbon. Arguably where the high end stores and restaurants are, but within walking distance from bars and more of the nightlife. Walk around and do your shopping here, stop frequently for photos.

Well, Baixa-Chaido metro station is located in the city of Lisbon. It is located very well. The Metro has four lines. It goes from Reboleira to Santa Apolonia and also from Cais do Sodre to Telheiras. We need to put mask and keep social distance because of covid-19. We can easily get here by bus, tram, taxi, and so on. I really appreciate that we have this station nearby. 🙏

Great station in the middle of the city, always a place for streetartists to perform. I saw this crazy talented guy, unfortunately I forgot to take a picture of his sign. Just wanted to share this cause he was great and everybody else has to see him.

I give it a 3 because the architecture of the station is beautiful, but the day that the escalators are all working will be the day that Dom Sebastião returns, that Christ the King will clap his hands, that aliens land in the Belém palace, and that the 3 little shepherds are seen eating a steak at the clover counter.

Great connection point with clear signs where to go, but moving stairs are often broken. You can buy tickets here.

I'll revise the review when Google moves the marker to the actual location of the entrance to the metro station, as it's about 100m away at 38.710556,-9.139444, which led to us walking around aimlessly for half an hour.

Since 2 month the escalators of Baixa chiado metro are not working. Many peoples are facing problems, heavy suitcase ang bags need to hold with hands and then go by stairs.

Cool temperatures and big open spaces makes this a very comfy metro station

If you understand that this train station is worth its weight in gold to save yourself a lot of stairs in Lisbon, you can explore the city for longer. It's often worth walking through this metro in order to overcome many meters in altitude without much stress

It was quite relaxing and quiet. Sits in the centre of a courtyard surrounded by boutique hotels. There's three food areas to choose from in the courtyard.

I lodged a complaint here for 8 tickets I paid for at the Santa Apolónia Metro Station but never received. Shockingly, the staff accused me of lying, insisting that there was no way there was no staff present, despite the actual situation. They reluctantly issued replacement tickets, claiming they were of equal value. I explicitly asked if these were valid for both the Metro and the elevators and trams, which they confirmed. By now, I was not surprised that these replacement tickets turned out to be useless as well. Utterly frustrated with the Lisbon transportation authorities.

One of many interesting stations on Lisbon subway. This subway is one of the more cordial in the world probably due to the good nature of the local inhabitants

Very bad service, almost always the escalator don't work, disable people or people with baby stroller face difficulties to get out from the station

Great metro station very large and spacious. Especially great that you can get from baixa chiado to the nightlife district bairro alto via endless escalators.
