One of the best excursions we have done. Manuel was our guide, kind and friendly. Allowed for breaks with uphill walking, commentary was very polished. Very complete overview of Portuguese history in a way that was relatable, not just dates and facts. Staged the tour so that we would have the best experience at the Pena palace, walked by many people waiting in line. Would not attempt this without a guided tour. He was also a very careful driver and has a very comfortable van, we all had our own air conditioning control and ensures we all had our seatbelts on. Also made sure that we were all included in conversation without pressure. It was a wonderful day and I would recommend 100%

We went on the Sinatra and Cascais small group tour from Lisbon. Tatiana was a fantastic guide. She was friendly, gave good information and historical background to all the sites. I learnt so much about Portugal's history on the tour. There was adequate time for us to explore each location.

We had a great trip to Fatima, Nazare & Obidos with Nuno. All three places were very different and made for a very interesting day! Nuno was very knowledgeable, considerate, helpful and flexible. He prepared us well for each stop. All their tours are small group (no more than 8) in clean, comfortable vans. Definitely the way to go! I highly recommend this tour and this company, Lisbon Riders.

What a fantastic day exploring Portugal with Tania! I highly recommend this tour and this tour company. Two people cancelled their reservation for this tour and I wound up getting a private tour!! I am forever grateful that they didn't cancel my reservation since I was the only one and that I was still able to see the sights. Tania was absolutely lovely and I enjoyed spending the day with her. She loves her country and it shows in her enthusiasm. It was great to see parts of Portugal that are considered "off the beaten path". The views were spectacular and there were very few or no tourists at most of the stops. Whether you choose this tour or any of the others, you won't be disappointed! One hundred percent recommend.

My friend and I had the most wonderful day today on the Nazare, Fatima and Obidos tour. We have done a couple of day tours while in Lisbon and today was clearly a stand out. Our guide and driver is clearly passionate and knowledgeable about his town and the sites on the tour. The vehicle was extremely comfortable and the drive itself relaxing due to the skills of our guide/driver. We both wish we had booked our other day with Lisbon Riders. We did the Sesimbra and Arrabida National Park Tour with Tania. I have to say she is an excellent tour guide with great knowledge and most of all we really had fun on our tour. Being the weather was a bit foggy in the morning she was also kind enough to take us to the same spot again as the weather became sunny so we could take some photos. Thank you Tania, you have been our best tour guide and we highly recommend you!

My wife and I decided to visit Lisbon for our anniversary, and couldn’t decide what all we wanted to do. So, we decided to go on this tour, and let me just say…we were NOT disappointed! Our guide, Tonya, was not only knowledgeable about every location, but she was incredibly kind and accommodating! We could not recommend Lisbon Riders more. Especially, if you can, having Tonya as your guide! 5 stars isn’t enough for how great this tour was. Thanks again Tonya! My wife and I (and the rest of the group) thoroughly enjoyed it! We booked a small group tour to Sintra and Cascais and Cabo da Roca and had Manuel has our guide and it was such a great day trip! He was so informative and gave us all the important facts and stories of the different places we visited. He told us the history of Portugal in great details. He let us take the pictures we wanted and also gave us time to make purchases at small souvenir boutiques. We loved everywhere we went even if Manuel made us walk up the hill all the way to Pena Castle. It his quite a hike but we stopped often enough and we all were rewarded by the Beauty of The colorful and beautiful Pena Castle which is a must see! We absolutely loved our day it was one of the highlights of our trip to Lisbon. We will be back to Portugal, Lisbon turned out to be charming and magical. I hope Lisbon riders will consider doing a tour to Porto with their excellent guides in the future we will be back to Portugal hopefully soon and would love to visit Porto with them.

Educational and entertaining day out to Sintra with Tanya our amazing guide. We went to Sintra village and Cascais first so we didn’t have to fight with the morning hordes at Peña Palace, then returned to the palace in the afternoon so it was a more pleasant experience. You have 1.5 hours at Cascais which has a couple of nice beaches so wear your swimsuits and go for a swim instead of having a long lunch if that strikes your fancy (no lockers or loungers, bring towel). We wish we had known this beforehand. Do note that hotel pickup is not offered, however since we stayed in Baixa the meeting point was just 9 mins away on foot.

I had a brilliant tour with Lisbon riders (English language only) to Sesimbra and Arrabida with really lovely local guide. We first visited Sesimbra n the castle. There were many stop along the way for photos n she drop us by the Beach for lunch. Then we travel to Arrabida with the final stop at a winery where we tried four different wines. You can also buy very affordable wine, we also able to get a exclusive look a the little museum with artifacts from when the Romans were in Portugal. Its really good value for money.

We hada day trip to Sintra for small groups with Kat. She is literally the book of local history and culture. She drive our big van on the narrow and winding mountain road like a pro! Such a fun and pleasant guide! I got to say the trip would not be the same without her. Will definitely book her as our guide for future trips.

We did 2x tours with this company which were Sintra & Cascais with Ruth and Fatima, Nazare & Obidos with Carolina. These two ladies were fantastic and gave me and my Wife two perfect days out from Lisbon. This is a great town but it was nice to get out and see parts of Portugal you might never see and every stop was worthwhile. Both ladies took great care as my Wife uses a stick and is not the quickest and didn’t hurry the tours which was great. Ruth paid attention on the castle visit as it was 38c and she made sure it wasn’t rushed for us. Carolina is a cracking driver who made our journey very smooth on the second trip. to Fatima. These ladies are a credit to Lisbon Riders and this company is well recommended on a visit to Lisbon to see other parts of this beautiful country within driving distance of Lisbon.
