We went as a walk-in and were made a short while before being seated. They appear to have multiple shops in the vicinity where you can sit and eat. We ordered a solitary samosa as a starter but went for a 1/2 grilled chicken with fries. This platter also came with rice, but we replaced this with more fries and we had some salad too. It didn’t take too long for the food to arrive. The samosa was well filled and tasty and they have a great hot sauce, which was really enjoyable to have alongside it. The chicken came and the taste was fantastic. Well cooked and so well marinated. Super tasty along with the fries, which were moreish. It does leave you wanting more, so it really was a fantastic meal and did not take long at all to clean up the dish. Strongly recommend for anyone looking for some tasty grilled chicken.

Absolutely delicious food. This place gets quite busy with locals so there may be a wait. The food is worth that wait. Everything was fresh and hot. We had the cheese naan and the whole chicken with fries and rice. A whole chicken is good for 2 people. Service was friendly and fast once seated. Would definitely recommend and visit again.

Amazing Portuguese chicken! In this very local and modest restaurant, I walked out completely full with their 6,50€ menu: chicken, fries, rice. People are lovely and polite, and some of them speak French. A very good deal, I will come back!

Very busy place at rush hours. There are very few tables in a small area from where they cook. They have two other dining options across the street also, but they didn't offer us to go eat there. The food was good, with reasonable prices and decent portions.

The great Portuguese delicacy known as Piri Piri chicken. It was so good we ordered 2x whole chicken, with rice. The best part was that, it was halal, fast service and good attention to detail. They also accept card payment.

Was looking to find real Portuguese chicken while in Lisbon. Decided to try Zubir Churrasqueira, a Halal chicken spot. Servers were friendly and brought out ketchup, garlic mayo and a green hot sauce (blimp of heat, flavourless). - Nan de alho (1,75€) - garlic flavour reminded me of Little Caesar’s crazy bread. Oily. - Menu turístico (8,00€) - 1/2 chicken, basmati rice and french fries. We asked for spicy, which meant added chili flakes. Chicken was a mixed bag of good to dry. All the white meat was overcooked. Fries weren’t crispy. Rice was smothered in butter/ghee that tasted similar to movie butter popcorn. Have had better Portuguese in Montreal.

The piri piri place from Lisbon that we visited twice for dinner and if we had the time, would have visited more. Defintely recommend giving it a try, with affordable prices, extremely fast service and delicious tender chicken cooked on a huge grill in front of you. We also advise you to order the cheese and garlic naan, as it was perfect. They also have a card machine, pretty unusual for a place like this.

My friend I went here for dinner on our last night in Lisbon because we wanted halal food. Missed halal meat lol. The place was busy and packed. They don’t really speak English, so would be best to know their language to communicate with the servers well. The price is very reasonable and food is good too. I would recommend trying it out once.

Visited twice and both times the staffs were efficient and food came quick. Reasonable and tasty chicken. I’ll definitely come back again & again!

Best chicken in Lisbon. Fantastic sides and sauces for that extra kick, and super friendly and helpful staff. The place is unassuming and unpretentious, with great food served generously and quickly. Thank you. 😊

One might be worried by the building looks but the food is delicious! The spicy chicken is a must-try. Good portions for a low price! The staff is very nice too!

Went here on our 20 hour layover in Lisbon and...did not regret it. Despite train exchange and some walking (and waiting) (we came at around 9.30pm) the CHICKEN was perfect. We'll flavoured, crispy skin and juicy meat. Although SADLY :( the beef cutlet was dissappointing although we thought it had potential IF cooked better. The GREEN sauce was delightful and the naan was delightfully soft. Ordered more chicken for takeaway and the sauces were charged at 1€ each so....oh well. Worth a visit. Will come again for chicken but will not order beef! Lesson learnt :)

We walked the up and down streets of Lisbon to get to this restaurant as they had great reviews. I was very happy we came here. The place has some really good food. Chicken was cooked nice and crisp. Great servers. The place had some line ups and so we waited for our turn. Recommend 10/10

Great Peri Peri chicken! The serving size was very generous given the great price. The staff were very friendly, although they didn't speak much English.

A must try while in Lisbon The chicken was very tender and well cooked ! The prices are reasonable , a menu with 1/2 chicken , fries , rice and soft drink for 7.5 € I added a garlic naan for 1.75 € and for the desert I enjoyed a tasty mango mousse for 2.50€ ! Tasty meal plus desert for less than 13 € that’s a rare find 😋

We visited this place so many times in our 12 day stay in Portugal, honestly hands down my favourite chicken shop. Not only are their chicken the most tastiest the price is very reasonable. The lamb they serve is great quality too! They’ve been busy every time we’ve visited, staff are very polite and serve you very quickly. Order the grilled chicken and fresh salad. Oh and chips of course! My one year old loved it. Very family friendly.

The food here is really good. I ordered a half grill chicken. The flavour is perfect, good amount of spice and comes with sides. Went there twice during my 7day vacation. The service was also quick although many people were waiting.

Excellent spicy chicken. Better than Nandos. Very busy place at rush hour. Arrive before 8pm and give your name to the staff there. We ordered two whole chickens/fries, a naan and two salads for four of us, all adults. Portions were quite generous. Service was good.

Came on holiday from London. Genuinely the best food I’ve ever experienced in my life. So good I came twice. If you’re looking for an authentic Nando’s come here and you’ll realise how awful Nando’s is. Zubir 4 ever. Lovely service, buzzing atmosphere.

A little hole in the wall that my wife found while looking for dinner options. What a find!! The chicken, rice and fries were amazing. And the garlic-cheese naan is among the best I have had. A definite repeat if we have time.

Without a single doubt: the best chicken in Lisbon (and best believe, I know about chicken). The food is always delicious, with lots of seasoning and served hot. The wait is worth. Please try the cheese naan. One “menu familiar” is enough for two people. The price is fair for Lisbon. I recommend 1000%!
