Great place to explore nature and you can find statues of animals all over the sides . The river view is nice

Lovely walk, was really surprised how big the walk actually is. There is the main "fairy tale walk" , but past it there are several paths, along a small river. Some are small hiking trails. There are also several cycling trails, and loads of signs saying: caution! where cycling trails and walking paths cross. Also at the car park there was a small cafe that was serving tea and coffee, and looked like they wer setting up BBQ too!

Great Sunday day out with grandchildren. We had 2 run back to gate at 5pm, lol. Only thing I might say is add some waste bins+ signs no littering. Other than that loved it .

It's a great place for a walk and to see the story of the Gruffalo.👍😁

Autumn is the best season to visit Colin Glen. The place comes alive with such vibrancy. A fungi spotter's dream. I know the lovely people at Belfast Hills arrange regular litter picks of this space. Some more way pointers and/or maps of the walk along the way would benefit the place.

A beautiful place to have a relaxing walk while entertaining kids at the same time. So much to see and show kids with regards to nature.

For Adults, it's a pleasant walk through a wooded area, but for kids it's an exciting adventure seeing all the Gruffallo characters! Good paths which means it's good for push chairs.

Great spot. 9 of us did a morning session on the sky trek and had a great time climbing walls and the different levels. We had rain but that did not slow us down. Well looked after by the staff. Well worth a visit.

The Gruffalo trail is one of the best kids activities we've been too! A fantastic relaxed atmosphere for the walk which was led by a lovely very knowledgeable lady. Allow yourself some time as there's also crafts afterwards and a cafe if you fancy.

I was here at the weekend for a hen party and highly recommend it! We did the Skytrek activity (zipline, climbing wall, low ropes, high ropes, free fall and archery) and it was both very challenging and very fun. We were really well looked after by Robert - he was great craic, very personable, patient and friendly and most importantly made sure everyone was okay and safe throughout. He was very reassuring and on the few occasions when some of us had issues he was over straight away to help out. If you get Robert you'll know you're in safe hands! We followed this with lunch which was organised by the staff, and then went to the Mountain entrance for the Black Bull Run which was again really good fun - we each got three goes at this, it's fairly quick but definitely worth it, it rounded off our day there really nicely. I'd also like to mention Shannon who I dealt with when making the booking - she was really helpful and friendly and was very patient with all the chopping and changing that comes hand in hand with organising a hen do! Great staff, great day's activities, highly recommend all round. Oh and thanks for organising the great weather for us, that was a nice touch ;)

There's no way you could go here unless you are really fit and healthy. My wife and I went there not realizing how steep the path through the glen was and had to turn back exhausted back to the car and spent ten minutes trying to recover. I'm sure it's really Beautiful but not for oldies like my wife and I.

Decided to come for a romantic walk as we were staying at the Le Mon Hotel at Newtonards and fancied a walk just before evening meal...lovely to see the Guffalo and the characters from the famous story ..Our children love these characters so well laid out and a nice peaceful place...

We went to see Santa and did the Gruffalo tour. This is a fantastic event, and I would highly recommend it to anyone with small children. The Santa grotto is beautiful 😍

Went for the day to Colin Glen activities, excellent experience. We did SkyTrek, archery and the new Bull Run, not cheap for all three, but a good day had by all! Wee cafe does a hearty feast, nicely prepared, d see the delivered and plentiful. All the Colin Glen staff were excellent; special mention to Jack & Anthony, really polite and helpful!

Amazing park! The surroundings are absolutely stunning, we didn't know what to expect but it took our breath away. The sound of the running water with all the stones is very relaxing and the trees and trails are beautiful. There was noticeable litter which is a shame as everything else was wonderful. The cafe is reasonably priced, the staff friendly and happy, easy to follow sign posts too. The Black Bull Run and zip line were fantastic, would definitely recommend!

A hidden gem in the heart of West Belfast, The Rumble Hole Waterfall at the top of Colinglen Forest Park

A group of us went on the Skytrek and it was amazing, we didn't realise that wall climbing, zip lining and jumping 40feet down where included. Our instructor was full of energy and fun, as well as being encouraging when we had wobbly legs! Would recommend to anyone! We also when tobogganing on the black mountain course and maybe because we've all been tobogganing in other countries like Germany, we had high expectations and sadly they were not met. The course barely lasted 40 seconds before it was over. £15pp for less than 3 minutes of "fast" speed! It was definitely a come down after the amazing high ropes! You should have made it far bigger or not bothered at all!

We've had a fantastic family day at Colin Glen. We started on the Bull run toboggan which was so much fun, the kids absolutely loved it. We then went and had a go on the sky trek on the high and low ropes with Jack the head instructor and his staff. All the staff were fantastic, very patient with the children, and us adults and we got to rock climb and zip line as well as the obstacle course

This review is just for the new Black Bull Run alpine coaster: it's a fun ride but the amount of queuing for a two minute ride was excessive so we left after taking two of the three goes. It would be more efficient if you got your three goes together instead of having to go back to the end of the queue. Perhaps too many people were booked onto the session today. It is just new so I'm sure it will go more smoothly as time goes on.

All the Gruffalo story characters, great for small kids but I would like dog owners to put their pets on a leash, some people have a fear of dogs running about.

We had a great time on the Gruffalo trail. The guide, Courtney, was friendly and interacted brilliantly with the kids. We brought a picnic and there were lots of tables to eat at. I'd highly recommend this as a family activity

Visited Colin Glen for a Saturdsy park run. What a hidden treasure in Belfast. Great cafe with lovely people attached to the car park on the Stewartown Rd.

Staff were amazing .. patient, knowledgeable and very helpful. My son enjoyed his activities. Great spot. The council lost the last star as signposting was poor, causing confusion for lots of visitors.

Absolutely fantastic place to visit & enjoy your walk either with yourself or groups & so many other activities to chose from & a fantastic cafe to enjoy with great staff and friendly welcoming atmosphere it's definitely worth a visit 👍

A lovely urban Park, and excellent activities, but not a destination worth travelling to from outside Northern Ireland unless you combine the visit with other Belfast attractions. The Gruffalo walk was a highlight of the day for our kids, and the guide was excellent at bringing new life and excitement to a story they know so well.

Thanks to our Skytrek instructor, Aaron today. He was brilliant and we felt very safe with our kids during this experience. It was great fun and we will definitely be back especially when he told us that there are going to be some additions to the skytrek experience. Thanks Aaron!

This was absolutely fantastic, such a fun filled family day, doing something different. Highly recommended. The staff were great, friendly, encouraging and always on hand to help. Even when I had to ring to book (as I was having problems online) the lady was so pleasant in getting everything sorted for me. I would recommend anyone to try here. Great day out!

I am a regular user of the park both with my wife and my grandchildren.I would like to add on negative comment and thae et is sometimes when out the weather can change quickly and there are no shelter facilities and i believe the addition of 4 or 5 strategically placex shelters that blend into the park to allow people to shelter in the event of heavy showers would be a positive attribute to the park

Excellent place for a good healthy walk. I use this almost every day to walk the dog and there are so many different routes to be taken. The only thing I can say, is that there are no bins to put dog poo bags into. Although staff do go round the forest regularly picking up rubbish left by irresponsible people, I think it would be helpful to have a few around all routes - it might encourage other dog walkers to use them!

Smelly and overcrowded. Not well looked after. A lot of rubbish and burned trees. Poorly marked paths. At the top there is a new road/parking building site. I won't go again.
