This place gets three stars as the council have spent some cash in an attempt to make something of it. If you live beside it, it's a handy walking spot. As s destination, don't waste your time.

Nice for a short walk with the dogs. Home to a family of swans, a Herron and some American coots and their newly hatched chicks. Lots of squirrels too!

Looks like the park got the major update and it's being well looked after. There's plenty of bins around and there must be emptied regularly as they are not overflowing. The council added information boards to the trails with facts about wildlife and biodiversity. Rightly so as the park has an excellent diversity of trees and bushes throughout which makes it a great spot for wildlife. It is full of squirrels, song birds, swans, ducks and even few herrons. My only issue is people letting their dogs completely of the leash with disregard for wildlife and other park visitors. I nearly got mauled by a pack of about 6 very agressive terriers and their owners made no apologies or attempts to rectify the situation.

Beautiful place for a short walk. Hidden gem off a busy road. Swans and ducks floating around make it a serene place to walk. Only takes 20 mins to do a lap so maybe do two.

Had a lovely walk in the peaceful and beautiful surroundings at Duncans Park with my two dogs. The highlight of the visit was seeing a pair of beautiful swans.

Duncan Park is a lovely area for dog walkers and has a medium sized playground right next to the car park. The car park is small, maybe 15 cars in total and the hill/entrance is quite steep so be careful. There's a second walkway entrance at the bottom but no car parking, only residential. You could do a complete lap of ducan in about 15 minutes.

Great place to take the grandkids, it has a small playground but with their imagination it gets transformed into an aeroplane ect. and they get to see the ducks and a beautiful family of swans and then off to explore the forest to spark a conversation about nature around us .The only down side is they took away the restrooms .

Near to a relation's house. A great walk round the lake with grandchildren, kiddy winks, etc. The dog enjoys it too.

Ok for a short dog walk, much better in recent times. A lot of work done clearing the area. 👍

I may be biased as this is where I grew up and was my playing ground drinking den long before the paths were put in. A great small forest walk with a small park for young children and a lake attracting wild birds. Atm there is a family of swans they're well used to people. It's nice watching the cygnets growing. Popular with dog walkers. Is well looked after by the council. Picnic tables and toilets are also there.
