Myself
and
3
friends
visited
The
Bowery
on
Saturday
night
for
our
joint
30th
birthday
meal..
They
launched
a
new
cocktail
menu
and
we
ordered
4
cocktails..However
service
was
very
slow,
the
waitress
was
updating
us
every
ten
mins
or
so
on
the
status
of
our
cocktails.We
were
told
that
our
cocktails
would
be
free
because
of
the
long
wait..
we
were
happy
with
this.
When
our
food
arrived
it
was
beautiful,
really
fresh
and
tasty,
however
we
didn't
receive
any
sides,
we
had
finished
our
meal
for
at
least
15
mins
before
our
sides
came
out.
We
sent
them
back
as
we
had
finished
eating.
When
we
ordered
another
drink
they
didn't
come
at
all
so
we
asked
for
the
bill.
The
assistant
manager
apologized
profusely
and
stated
that
because
they
had
launched
their
cocktail
night,
they
were
very
behind.
He
gave
us
our
meal
on
the
house
due
to
our
long
waits,
which
we
were
very
shocked
at.
We
didn't
expect
this
but
gladly
accepted
as
we
had
waited
too
long
on
everything.
As
service
was
slow,
this
didn't
put
us
off.We
will
definitely
be
back
to
experience
The
Bowery
again.
It
was
a
busy
night
however
very
clearly
understaffed
One
thing
I
would
say
is,
don't
launch
a
cocktail
night
on
a
busy
Saturday
at
the
end
of
a
lockdown!!
