Lovely place, really clean and tidy, staff lovely, food is good size good value for money also. You want nice meal good priced this is deffo your place to go.

I popped in this morning for a cup of tea. The place had obviously recently been cleaned to a very high standard. The music that was playing was suitable for the time of day (0830) and the venue was sparkling. I didn't wait at all for service. The venue is very large and seems to be in sections allowing for large groups to take individual sections. The toilets are very clean and well maintained.

Bit of a piss poor performance on this occasion unfortunately. Ordered 2 main meals and a kids meal. 1 main was perfect (fish and chips)where the other (hunters chicken) was very chewy and chips were cold. Kids meal looked very unappealing and the veg sticks were not really suitable for a child (massive chunky things), with the rice mixed with something that may have been carrot and was very bland. We did receive a refund for 1 meal (as my partner was put off and didn't want a replacement). The staff were great and very apologetic.

Went here for my dad's birthday Saturday 17th June , Julie was lovely very helpful we never booked but she got us a large table to be seated😀. Lovely meal thanks so much to Julie for a lovely time.

Great pub and Amazing staff. Had a burger and my better half got chicken skewers. Both meals were great. Really cheap and atmosphere is warm safe very family friendly. Going again Friday:) Thanks nethy staff!!

Lovely location potentially a lovely place to visit but certain staff let it down massively. I certainly will not be returning. I will take my custom to a friendly welcoming business. First impressions are the lasting impression! Big thumbs down for me.

Food is delicious, well better than most of the hungry horse pubs. The only problem is I have never been and waited less than 45 minutes for my food to arrive.

Nice atmosphere during the day, not sure about night times. Food was nice and staff nice and attentive. Would definitely use this place again A+

service was awful! waitress basically threw our food on the table without saying a word. we had to wait 15 minutes before going up and asking for our sides when they were supposed to come with our mains! one lovely lady helped us out

We came in as a family for a meal. Now kitchen closes at 9pm granted. But we called ahead and asked if it was still possible to have a table for four people. We were told as long as we placed our order before 9pm they would still serve food. We attended at 8:30pm and it was very clear that the staff weren't happy about this. We knew for sure when we overheard the male attendant say to another member of staff do they know its 8:30 and that he thought the server shouldn't have taken our order. When the food was slapped down on our table it became apparent that no care or pride had been taken by chef cooking the food nor the server handing out our meals. We ordered a sizzler that didn't have a single sizzle on the dish. It was dry and no taste. All four of us left most of our meals and left the venue dissatisfied and disappointed. WE will not be returning here to eat again. As a regular customer in the past I expected better service like we are used to receiving.

Went here for a family meal. It was great value for money, the food was lovely. The service was brilliant too. We will definitely be back.

Came for a weekend away, quiet night for food and a few drinks. 100% recommended staff friendly food is amazing , definitely be coming back.

We arrived early but we’re shown promptly to our sticky table, between the ladies toilets and the open fire exit. Drinks and food were served quickly when ordering via the app. The Steak & Ruddles Ale pie & mash was not very good. Ordered another drink through the app which took over 10 minutes to come and when I was at the bar the server served the person in front of me and then went somewhere else. An alarm sounded during our meal which took ages to go off and meanwhile all the fire doors were slammed shut and accusing looks were given to customers as if they’d been the ones to open the door in the first place.

Just popped in for lunch with no booking and 2 kids in tow. Lots of choice with the menu. Typical pub grub but that's exactly what we were after. Got the Korean chicken burger. Wasn't expecting much as it was quite cheap but my goodness it was amazing, and huge! So tasty, fresh salad on the burger and a beautiful brioche bun. The kids went for sausage and nuggets. It was clean plates all round. Will deffo be popping back.

Great service, the food was lovely and decent size portions non of us finished are meals but couldn't resist pudding so we ordered if the kids desert menu bad move only because they were large portions aswel but definitely worth it apple crumble and custard wow

Called in unexpectedly and decided to stay for dinner. What a shame about the food because it is a lovely pub. New menu item showed parmesan chicken with crispy potatoes and salad. Chicken was great but the potatoes were cold, grey and dry whilst the salad was full of un-lovingly rough stems and wilted leaves.

We try come on a Sunday with the dog halfway through her walk and get a drink or food outside out the way of everyone but everyone’s so friendly it’s a great little place been coming here for 15 years or so wether it’s football, family meal, quick drink or date night it’s just a good place reasonably priced x

Been many times. Great place, good staff, food reasonable. Toilets were gross. Urinals were blocked. Sinks were blocked. Someone had used one of the cubicles. Don't know if they hadn't flushed it, but it was full of things I can't describe.

Service was amazing can't fault Steve and the lady that served us. But food OMG swimming in grease. It's sickening. Bacon still alive. Wouldn't recommend the breakfast unless you ask for well done on everything without the grease.

Good food. Service was slow & dirty plates left on the table till our desserts came. NO hand-wash or hand sanitizer in the Ladies or Gents toilets.

Booked a table today for family but was met with a snotty attitude waiter who told us we could not have a table by tv to watch footbl as we requested in booking because we booked last minute her words. We hardly think booking online at 8am in morning for a table at 3 30pm is last minute. No excuses for poor hospitality wouldn't recommend and will not use this place again due to snotty staff.

Lovely to go for meal. Could order at bar like the old days ha! Fantastic service friendly helpful staff. Lots of deals through week. Food was excellent hope it stays like that. Will definitely go again.

Just been there after a Funeral. Food was very good with a variety of dishes. Staff very friendly and good bar service. Would definitely visit again.

Seats covering were dirty...and found hair in my food so could not continue eating it ...waitress picking up plates said sorry about that I'll let them know in the kitchen..no Manager came over to ask about it... will not be eating or visiting there again..

Staff Friendly even though a busy Sunday afternoon, generous portions of pub grub.

Food was nice and well priced but the place is a madhouse Kid's running mad, plates not getting cleared from tables staff bringing meals out and not taking finished plates back. Only one till taking orders for meals. The food was lovely and I can't fault it but the clearing of finished meals was very poor There was about 20 of us at our tables the servers where bringing sweets out and walking away without taking finished plates back somebody needs to get their act together you asked so there you are i hope this helps

Nice place food served hot and fresh enjoyed but didn't eat it cause I wasn't hungry but if I had been my plate would have been empty I'd took Granddaughter and Greatgranddaughter out

Quality place this, staff have always been great with us, nice atmosphere very welcoming. Lots of seating inside and out, nothing better than a cold drink out the back in the summer. Typical hungry horse menu but feel like they go the extra mile to present the meals well, prices/deals very good. You definitely need to try a Dark Fruits slush in the sun too if you haven't already!

Stopped off for something to eat after a day out with the family and this is the first time we’ve eaten out since the first lockdown so we we’re very much looking forward to, we ordered 3 main meals which were not to the usual standard that we’ve received from here before and I hope that we’ll never receive again, I’m just glad that my 2 youngest children didn’t have main meals and skipped straight to dessert as all 3 of us ended up with food poisoning and 1 of us is still very poorly with it, unfortunately we won’t be visiting here again which is a shame as we’ve been here a few times over the years and always thought highly of it but this is an experience I don’t want to repeat and the service we received wasn’t as good as we’ve previously experienced either, if I could give it minus stars I would

Family meal last night; couldn’t fault the service even though the place was heaving and the staff run off their feet!!! Polite, friendly and always happy to go out their way to help. Food was amazing, 5 star!!! 👍🍺🍷

Midweek Afternoon visit. Quiet. Quick friendly service. 1 steak was rare but ordered medium rare an one came medium rare but was ordered well done. Staff were helpful and whole meals replaced. Food was nice.

Friendly chain pub in a interesting location 😂 enjoy watching the cars go past as your not allowed to eat food out the back . They also don't fill the mocktail jugs all the way which I think is tight. Despite this a standard fare for a chain pub and they do offer some great deals .
