Came in for a drink a few days ago, the drinks were lovely and the staff were so friendly the whole night. Would definitely recommend coming here

Went in there on Sunday, who ever the barmaid was with jet black hair in her late 50s . Kept me at the bar serving every one else and people pointed out she's been waiting serve her first. Gave me wrong drinks and my boyfriend was is shock as she was serving him bending over and being very flirtatious. Went in for a few drinks not to be glared at by an average looking drug addict. Wouldn't waste money going bak in there.

Came here for leaving do. We were a large group which the staff found a table for us which was appreciated. Got some food. Had the mini plates. The food was hot when it came to the table. Good portions and quite tasty. The wine was reasonable priced.

We have never been here before, we arrived with my husband and 4 children. Waiting at bar for nearly 10 minutes to put order in, lady arrives with a attitude and takes order (lisa I think she may be called ) ,food came was ok for the price of nearly £50. When finished I went to the bar and asked for desserts, we waited 15 minutes then I went to the bar to chase it up , the same lady just said " hang on" I went back to the table waiting a further 10 mins , I asked the lady this time for a refund on desserts, her response was she would go see what the chef was doing first and to just wait. We was still waiting and our children where getting agitated so we ended up just leaving after waiting over half a hour just for ice cream ! We Didn't get a refund in the end as no one was behind the bar at time of leaving and there was a big que. Shame really but will not be returning or recommending to anyone. Disappointed is a understatement!

The Addisons is a great pub for food. I recently came here and ordered small plates and the bbq meatballs were to die for we will be back soon the atmosphere was great and the staff were lovely

Called in for a few scoops to watch the footy and a bite to eat was a lovely pint of Stella good atmosphere and the food small plates lovely value and piping hot , will return think I was served by Luke and ann service really good thank you

We recently came to the Addisons on a Thursday night and the quiz and the girl hosting it were both fantastic! The cocktails on 2-4-1 are also very good, you get plenty of alcohol in it for your money.

It's ok. Can smell the... Aroma let's call it, from the men's toilet throughout. Always busy, bar staff seem unpleasant. Food is nice, served quick and hot. I'd recommend wellies and a nose peg for the restroom (male)

Great pub, really friendly staff I've been in a few times now & always quite busy. The food is lovely presented really well, the Bar prices are decent too.

Katsu was nice but not enough sauce, glad I didn't order rice. Chicken wings were not dizzled in any sauce with jalapeños, very dry. Veg...Well haha bullets. Burger bun was burnt on top. Beer was flat. Wine was nice but service was from a nice girl but could do with smiling. Guy who brought food, was happy enough.

Recently came here to watch the Liverpool match, we ordered all of our drinks on the app and these came surprisingly quick considering how busy the venue was. The staff delivered them with a smile. You can tell the venue is really well ran with great staff who enjoy being there. Can’t wait to come back!

Great pub in the middle of Bootle Strand. We came for the derby and it was really busy, the atmosphere was great and we still got served quickly. Decent pint of Moretti as well.

Moved to bootle and made here my local..friendly atmosphere and the staff go above and beyond (especially Stacey, Sam and Luke) to make the customers feel welcome. Food is lovely too!

This place is amazing , it is family friendly and the new menu is great . The team are all polite and make you feel very welcomed

Food was really nice, I had the katsu curry and sticky toffee pudding. Was served by really friendly staff, and the food came quickly.

Took my daughter for food when food arrived it was cold we sent it back and it was replaced staff were very friendly but seemed very short for a busy afternoon the one thing that iam sorry made me sick to my stomach was the smell of urine coming from the toilet absolutely disgusting we left as quick as we could will not be coming back it was so of putting to sick in a pub sorry that stunk of urine how the staff have not done something about this is beyond me

Absolutely amazing pub anne and the team were amazing, one of the bar men michael went above and beyond for my party of 4 and we will definitely return!

Called in for Sunday Breakfast... Hot, Fresh and great value for money.... Washed down with a few Beers. Will be back soon.

Apsolutley awful, watching match on Saturday and all of a sudden every television in pub turned to 3 different horse racing meetings. You might as well call it a bookies with a bar. Why advertise football if as soon as someone asks for racing it gets turned on no matter how many are watching something else. I left to watch football somewhere else.

Good place to watch the football good atmosphere cheap drinks too definitely recommend

Awesome staff! Love the place been going here for years and can't complain !. Always my go to place . Doyle and Gemma are my favourite they do wonders as always and they will know what I mean . Keep it going guys x

The food was good, I had an all day breakfast but they really need to get a new supplier for the sausages they taste awful! Apart from that and the fact that there is no black pudding to be had everything was good.

Nice place. Staff are always friendly. Food was nice and quick.

Decided to stop by for some lunch. Tried the meat feast and it did not disappoint! Be warned though of you try to eat all of it make sure you've not eaten for days before- its massive!! Great service and standards

Excellent pub , very , well run. Staff are genuinely lovely, and , build up a great affinity, with , customers .. Great for watching the Racing , and , Football.. A Saturday morning breakfast cannot be beaten.

Food was OK (see picture) - gammon, egg & green beans with chips. The food wasn't hot the time they served. Waiting time was nearly 30 mins. Pub was clean, staff were really nice and helpful! 5 ⭐ for them, especially to Emma! Good atmosphere and people. Definitely worth a visit
