A truly beautiful, quiet and interesting place to spend some downtime in the middle of the city. It’s history as a former bastion complex, related to the defence of the city throughout centuries, is fascinating; it’s greenery is soothing & it’s recent renovation and new architectural additions are pleasing. No wonder that many gatherings of Klaipėda community, including Sea Festival, Midsummer’s Festival and Užgavėnės (Mardi Gras), take place here. Highly recommend visiting and spending some time. There’s enough place for picnics, too!

Great place for family and kids! Have fountains, channels, sport inventory and kids playgrounds. Nearby katamaran rent shops provide katamarans to swim in channels.

Recently renovated place. It is nice to walk around Jonas hill and along Dange river. In the water there is an artificial floating island which is used for an experiment to improve water quality and to create natural river habitat in urbanized area. There is also playground for kids and some equipment for exercising.

It's a very beautiful area. I come here to rest, walk and spend time. There are trees, ducks and other animals around. This place, which is part of nature, is very interesting. I think it is a nice area for those who want to take a walk and spend time in nature in the city.

Jonas Hill is one of the most recognisable and popular location in Klaipeda. Beautiful views, a space for skateboarders, big stairways with comfortable benches, several cafés and restaurants not far from this place. This location is ideal for walking, jogging, skateboarding and biking 🙂
