Update to old review: new owners and new concept. Went on a Saturday at 730. It was a little empty. Half the tv's had sports and the half were showing a home reno show and bob's burgers, which is a great show but less so when on mute in a bar/restaurant. Server was friendly and the food came out quickly. We had just gotten the apps when the mains arrived. The smoked wings with the macha sauce were great. But, the tacos were a huge let down. The shrimp and carnitas were dry and a little bland, the beans were sweet and reminded me of bush's baked beans, and the rice was mushy. I'd go back for the wings I guess.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED If I was a death row inmate, this place had what I'd want to eat as my last meal: the Mockingbird Cheeseburger. You'll order and initially pay before you sit down. I had the Mockingbird Cheeseburger. Although they didn't take a temperature preference, when I got it, that thing was cooked PERFECTLY. It was very juicy and delicious! My wife ordered the 3-taco plate (carnitas, braised beef, red chili chicken) and she ate every bite. It came with a salad and refried beans. Only two small issues which kept me from giving them 5 stars: some of the chips from our queso were stale and my wife said the refried beans weren't the best. Other than that, my final takeaways: --The food we ordered came at a good time and they seemed to be busy --The food was on-point and then some! --The staff was very friendly and checked on you at the right times

Wanted to try this place out and it cured the hunger bug for sure. Ordered the queso and red bean dip for starters. Was a lil bland, but was filling nevertheless. Then added the Lions Mane, smoked carrot, spiced braised beef, and beef supreme tacos for dinner and was definitely pleased by the taste. Very unique. Would definitely recommend for light/vegan comfort food.

My cousin and I had a kid free night and decided to try Mockingbird for the first time. I got a fried fish taco, carnitas and braised beef. I also got a ground beef empanada and cheese dip for the table. Fat I know…don’t judge me lol. My cousin got a few vegetable tacos and churros for dessert. We loved EVERYTHING. I will definitely come back especially if Nia is our waitress again. She was great and super friendly. Great food, great vibes and great service!

Came back to add.....THEY SERVE SUNDAY BRUNCH NOW! YAYYYY! Obviously, being the foodies we are, we had to try it out! This past Sunday was only their second Sunday serving brunch. It's brand new, they just started doing it. It did NOT disappoint! We met some friends there, so between the 4 of us, we tried almost every brunch menu item. Our unanimous decision was that the biscuits and gravy and the Tres Leches French toast were our absolute favorites! Especially the sausage gravy. It was so good. Waffles were a little too "sugary" & sweet for our taste, but they weren't bad. We felt it's something you'd need milk with. But overall, their brunch was fantastic and we can't wait to go back! Love this place! We've had a variety of things. It's all be great....ESPECIALLY their pecan glazed wings and candied pecans (which we got to go for Thanksgiving! Sooooo good!!!) Be careful eating their amazing Churro fries-they're addictive! We got one order to go. 🥴😂 We love this place!

Amazing cheese dip and wings! Be ready for nontraditional, but amazing wing sauces. Great drinks, perfect chips, and all around great experience. Staff was by far the nicest and most accommodating of all restaurants on our trip to Little Rock. Would definitely go back!

First of all, loved our waitress. She was quick to make conversation to the 6 of us when we sat down, and never once did our drinks go empty. The food was delicious. I got the three shrimp tacos, which was amazing, but my friend praised the burger he ate. Love the SoMa district, so the atmosphere of this place fit right in.

What a great taco place! The food was amazing and came out quick! I loved my tacos, they were tasty and filling. The noise level was low, so it was easy to hold a conversation. I will definitely come back to this place, and I definitely recommend this place to others. Thanks!

Yummy! I went with a work group, party of 8. The service was fast and they were quick to fulfill our requests. I had the taco plate, the carnitas was very good!! Their guacamole was also fresh and delicious. It also offers good atmosphere.

Tacos where ok and they didn’t have salsa. Still a good taco. The black beans where good and I enjoyed the southern slaw. The chorizo nacho fries where insanely good though.

Excellent service! we had the best server ever he brought us coffee even tho they don't have coffee in the menu. The food was great we only went there for a small bite, so we ordered chicken wings, the sauces were really good, the wings were a little too dry, but had a nice smokey flavor. Don't leave without ordering dessert the 3 leches was amazing!

We absolutely loved the atmosphere, food and the prices. We've had amazing service from both Holly and Megan and they were both very attentive and personable. We'll continue to visit so we can try new items on their perfectly assembled menu.

The food was absolutely delicious! I ordered a chicken quesadilla with sour cream and a slice of tres leche cake! When I said it was good, it was so good. I want another qhesadulla, but the tres Leche cake, I want a whole one to myself. Our server was also very nice and welcoming! The atmosphere was very cozy and inviting It was a great experience! I'm looking forward to returning.

This place is awesome. Come try the street corn tacos! They are fit for a Queen (or king). Also a cool, contemporary vibe.

These loaded nacho fries are the best in Little Rock. Also save room for the tres leches cake - homemade in house with a Honduran Mama's recipe. The drink menu is also wonderful!

First time visit. The waitresses that took care of us were very polite, attentive and friendly. Had quacamole as a starter, added a bit of salt and it was great. Had a Main Street margarita on the rocks. It was tasty and had plenty of alcohol in it.. The meal I had, 3 taco dinner with two sides, was so-so. The tacos were ok, the black beans I had as a side were very good. Main complaint would be the chips. Some were very crispy and tasty, but several others were soggy, either from sitting out to long or undercooked? Not sure. Because of the service and general atmosphere I give it a 4, otherwise I would have rated it a low 3.

Chips were soggy, chicken quessadilla had big chunks of cheese which made it chewy. Draft beer was not cold (glasses were not chilled which makes a difference)

All of the food was fresh and delicious!! Careful of the candied peppers, I wasn’t ready 🥵 The taco salad, smoked carrot taco and guacamole are a MUST HAVE!! Overall, we loved the friendly staff, cool atmosphere and tasty food so much. We will be back.

Party of 4 visited one Sat afternoon, and it was very busy. We were seated quickly and got the last table. The service was pretty quick, and our waitress was nice. We all 4 waters, and 4 tequila Mule (don't remember the name). We shared wings, cheese fries, and a quesadilla. The waitress forgot to order the quesadilla, it came late and I didn't get a pic. We all visited before, and the menu was different. We were looking forward to the empanadas. Bring them back! ☹️ Everything was good.

Yo! This is NOT the same place… New menu! New vibe! I don’t even post reviews…. But If you’re looking for an amazing selection of easily affordable dishes and a crazy drink menu… don’t sleep! The smoked wings are next level. THIS IS THE SPOT! The ambiance is chill. The walls have amazing art. Clean! The staff and service was on point! Some of the kitchen staff personally hand delivered our food and checked in!! 🙏🏽🙏🏽💎💎

The shrimp toast were very spicy. Spicier than the other two meets i had. I am guessing the natural wettnes of them just made more of the run stickers them because the spice level caught someone else off guard too, I enjoyed it but.if you are spice adverse I would not get the shrimp tacos. The beef was really good and the black.beens and lime cilantro rice were loved by everyone who had them!

The food is really good, but more importantly every staff member we interacted with was really nice! They made sure we were taken care of but also joked around as much as we wanted to haha. We started with the dip trio with the guacamole, salsa, and cheese dip. Every dip was good. And then the three of us each got a different Taco plate, for the money you get really good tasting food and it comes with two sides with the two tacos. Also the bird theme was really cute!

New owners. I attended their soft opening and the food was amazing. The smoked carrots... where did this fabulous idea come from???? The street corn...oh my! The slaw! Yes, I said slaw. Great things are happening in their kitchen. The fresh margarita,., hand squeezed was light, cool perfection.

Yummy food & drinks! They have a great happy hour atmosphere. We had the nacho (add chicken), queso, quesadilla, and a variety of tacos - nothing lacked flavor. One Wednesday’s they have trivia too! Cannot wait to come back.

This place is AWESOME! Truly such amazing, kind staff and the food is out of this world. I grew up on tex-mex food and this is probably the best guac I’ve ever had. The tacos were a home run. This place exudes comfort and deliciousness! A great way to end my visit to Little Rock. If I lived here, I would be a regular at this place.

Heard about this place while tasting their great cheese dip at the World Cheese Dip Championships in downtown Little Rock, Arkansas. The food and bar do not disappoint Great new spot 🌮 😋

I needed a weeknight off from cooking, so I took my boys to check this place out. They had so many tasty vegetarian options! The carrot taco was my favorite out of the bunch that I tried. Both the boys were pleased with their quesadilla/taco and it was a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!
