So friendly and most importantly the food is amazing. I loved the smoked chicken, black eyed peas and greens. Emerging had a little kick to it too. Don’t forget the sweet tea!

Platinum BBQ in the Rivermarket Pavilion knows how to do BBQ. Their ribs were great and so were the mac and cheese but I was honestly the most impressed with these greens. I’ve had lots of greens from many places but these were different and better than any I’ve had with the perfect amount of seasoning and spice. All together a great meal for a reasonable price. Definitely recommend.

The customer service is horrible. I did not have the opportunity to taste the food. Customer service trumps food in my eyes so I decided not to spend my money there. I received cold cuts when I thought I was getting turkey breast and it was actually cold. I was going to still spend my money there, just to support the black owned business but after I asked for it to be warmed the lady at the cash register treated me horrible. I asked for a refund and she pushed the plate at me and stated that they don’t give refunds. I had to dispute the charge with my bank. A very sad situation. I guess you can’t support everyone. Kool’s BBQ is the best this far. Great customer service and great food.

This was our first time in Little Rock and we had to check out the River Market. Platnum BBQ was our choice for lunch and they did not disappoint! We had the BBQ Sandwich combo with red beans and rice and my wife had the sliced beef brisket with green beans and collard greens. It was awesome! Everything tasted like great soul food! Wonderful friendly staff as well!

We were one of their 1st customers years ago (Matt/Tasha..haha). So proud of them. Always 100% service to everyone they greet/serve). You will definitely have "itis" once you try this food. I ate the rest of the food prior to giving the review..haha

Probably actually 4.5 ⭐️ but I’ll round up because they were very friendly and the food was good! I got the 3 meat combo with brisket, ribs and sausage. For my sides I got the broccoli cheese and greens. The broccoli cheese was a little under salted for my taste, but creamy and yummy. Greens were top notch! Brisket was good but had a dry slice mixed in there with the others which were good. Sausage and ribs were very tasty. I was there at the end of the day so I can forgive the dry slice. The ladies I spoke to at the counter were nice and helpful as well. A yummy quick lunch!

In town for business from TX, and tried a couple local BBQ "chains" before I made it into Platnum - wish I had started here! Owners were super friendly, offered a beef tip sample that was melt-in-your-mouth. Ended up with Beef rib, brisket, pork rib, turkey wing, greens + rice/beans. Out of this world! 10/10 will be back next time I'm in Little Rock!

YUUUUUM!! Food like “the Holidays with Family”, but EVERYDAY. YUUUUUM!! Very kind and courteous crew, decent prices. Great for a casual or romantic evening out, or take the kids, they will have a blast. (Be sure to go on an after meal walk, browsing stores, or through the park on the Riverfront.

I don't even have the words! Everything was beyond delicious! We would travel from St Louis to PLATNUM BBQ anytime! We look forward to eating there again and again! We went there to get BBQ, but once we saw ALL the SOUL FOOD we changed our minds. We don't have any pictures, because we started eating AS SOON as we sat down!!! We had oxtails, turkey wings, candied yams, green-beans, broccoli rice casserole, jambalaya AND sweet tea!! We were very pleased that the quality and quantity matched the price. Well worth every dollar we paid. Hats off to all the staff, from the chef to the counter! We'll be back for the BBQ. Your friends in ST LOUIS MO

The food is amazing, it was 🤌🤌🤌🤌 *chefs kiss*. Definitely recommend the naco cheese, it had the savoryness, sweetness (the bbq), and the saltiness. The lady gave us a small sample to try, she was sweet with recommending what to get.

My husband and I were there visiting in January and we stopped in for a quick bite. We weren’t sure what we wanted but the inviting scent lured us to the booth. The service was amazing and it was really nice to be greeted with smiles and good conversation. I ordered the oxtails with collard greens and macaroni and cheese. My husband had the beef tips. Both dishes were really good. Our intention was to grab lunch there and go out for dinner later. But the food was so filling and portions so large that we had lots of leftovers for dinner. If we’re in Little Rock anytime soon, we will definitely stop by. It was a pleasure.

Platinum BBQ is bomb! We had the beef tips, meatloaf, greens, fried okra, broccoli cheese casserole, and candied sweet potatoes. All very good. The portions are large as well - we could have split a lunch and still had plenty. If you’re hungry, head over and enjoy some home cooked southern style food. You’ll thank me!

Love the food and the owners My husband and I stop in two times a month and just for the two of us we always always order 4 to 6 plates just for the two of US!!! This is our go to for our comfort food and we love ❤️ 😍 it!!! Alex & Dee McKinley

First time trying the food. Staff is good and friendly. Food hot and you get a good amount. They really need a stand alone restaurant and I think they would do great. I got the BBQ loaded fries and my friend got ox tails and mac and cheese. We also got fish to go....lol Will be going back food was great.

Totally worth the 3 hr drive. I loved the ribs nice & tender, brisket was falling apart so easily with extra BBQ sauce it was DELICIOUS. The broccoli cheese rice I could eat the whole thing, the oxtails man we should have bought them all to take home. Can't wait to go back again. Not to mention the staff was awesome.

Macaroni was NASTYYY my 6 year old made a face when she bit into it and that says a lot because she loves macaroni so I tasted it and she wasn't lying. She said it didn't have no flavor. I had also ordered collard greens and they were so spicy I couldn't eat them. Should have warned someone first geeze! So all we had left with was the greasy turkey wings to eat, ughh no bread or muffin with it or nothing. Highly disappointed.

Went in for lunch to see what was on the line. Told the lady I wanted Turkey wings and the man behind me yelled he wanted to try to the oxtails. The lady serving slipped my order completely to fix the oxtails and proceeded to hold an entire conversation as if I wasn’t standing there. I have never tried the food and after this, I have no interest in trying.

Came there during a DoorDash delivery for my first time and the way the staff handles the Drivers is not professional. I waited in line for 10 minutes before the man behind the counter told me to go into the next line so that the lady can handle the delivery. Instead a lady behind me was taken care of by the man and the same lady ended up being served her order first after I was waiting almost 5 minutes in the other line! Remind you the place wasn't even busy yet and the lady behind the counter didn't even look at me or acknowledge my presence. Another person that wasn't even there when I arrived ended up getting his plate as well and still no acknowledgement. Then finally, with a bad attitude she asked if I was there for a delivery. If her job was to get me angry well, nobody in the universe not even the creator wouldn't want to be treated like that without them being angry. MIND YOU, I DID NOT GIVE ANY BAD ATTITUDE TO THESE PEOPLE JUST EXPRESSED A SIGH OF RELIEF WHEN IT WAS FINALLY MY TURN. This was my first time here and I don't know the lady, never seen her before, never caused any problems that I know of at her business. Anyways, I was confused as she started asking me or telling me what was on the order and I quickly turned my phone semi-around as I was reading off to her what was on the customer's order. Then unexpectedly she got smart with me and said and I quote "I'm not asking you what's on the order..." At that point I was really confused because she was speaking to be at first with an unsure tone of what was on the order. Moving forward, she starts shoving the food in the bag. At this point I knew something behind the scenes was going on because with an attitude like that after serving two other customers with a great attitude, me waiting 20 minutes at their business, being moved around, lack of acknowledgment by the lady, not being a Little Rock resident, never seeing them before, and my first time being there, there is no other way to conclude. Good tasting BBQ in an unusual location. What sets them apart for me is better side dishes. They have a wider selection that I find tasty compared to other BBQ places. I don't know if I would go through the trouble of finding a downtown parking spot just to go there, but when I'm already downtown, I will definitely eat here again.

Very good BBQ! Ordered the brisket (sauce on the side) with sides of collard greens & black eyed peas. My husband ordered chicken and pork ribs with red beans and rice. Every single thing was seasoned perfectly, tender and delicious, and most of all tasted like pure comfort on a rainy day. The cashiers were very nice as well. Highly recommend if you like quality!!

Food looks great. As a delivery driver they weren't as fast as I liked but I love the atmosphere. Good luck yall

Still one of my favorite BBQ places anywhere. I've not had anything here that I don't like. Just be prepared to eat, as the servings are generous.

The food was amazing and the service even better. The best breakfast deal around. I had a loaded omelet, with hash browns and bacon and a drink for $10.00. Try to beat that Waffle House!!! Highly recommended.

Super friendly and quick to get your order. Everything is so good. My favorite is the pulled pork, baked beans, and potato salad.
