It took me years to get the confidence up to walk into a CrossFit gym. I was working down in LR for 3 months last year and this place was what kept me going working grueling hours. The onboarding process was welcoming, informative and nonjudgmental. I felt supported both from an new-athlete perspective and a human being perspective. When I moved home to continue my CrossFit journey, it took me three different tries to find a new box that was a good fit. WLRCF set the bar high. They defined what CrossFit should be for me and gave me a standard to search for in my community.

I’ve been going to West Little Rock CrossFit for a few months now and I’m really impressed with their facilities and trainers. The gym is always clean and well-maintained, and the staff is friendly and helpful. They go above and beyond to work with me and are very patient with me. I’ve seen great results since I started working out here and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great gym.

I was nervous about starting cross-fit because I thought I was too old and not athletic enough. WLR CrossFit welcomed me with open arms and other members who work out in our class have become friends. The coaches are patient, engaged, and truly want the best for the members.

I am happy to call West Little Rock CrossFit my CrossFit gym for almost 3 years now. The Too Long Don’t Read/Summary of the below is this place gets 10/10 stars from me. Longer Version: One of my favorite aspects of this gym is the excellent coaches. A barrier to entry with newcomers to CrossFit can be intimidation of some of the movements. The coaches here are excellent and can help you scale the various exercises, to have something doable and achieve an excellent workout within the context of your skill and fitness level. In fact, my wife started CrossFit with me around a year or so ago now and she was brand new to CrossFit. The coaches here helped her modify the movements when she was both new to CrossFit, and then soon afterwards during the entirety of a pregnancy. As a result she exercised safely throughout her pregnancy, was able to get in great workouts, and had a fun community to do so in. I think an important consideration with any CrossFit affiliate, or group class structure, is to make sure the class times will work for you and your schedule. I have a busy job, but I have ample opportunities to make it to the classes at this gym. Between the earliest of 5:15am and between either the 4:30pm or 5:45pm are doable for my schedule but there are other other opportunities sprinkled in between those times as well. Classes last for one hour. They start with a discussion of the warm-up, skill and/or strength portion, and the WOD (workout of the day). There’s lots of space to spread out, and there is plenty of equipment. The workouts are made available through an app which many other CrossFit gyms use, SugarWOD. The app doubles as a log of your workouts to track your progress over time and as a social media app for CrossFit. With working out a CrossFit gym, there is something special about folks of different backgrounds, of work/life, coming together in a group and motivating each other to push through a challenging workout and having a coach guide you along the way. My wife and I love it here and we both think this is an awesome gym.

Since starting at West Little CrossFit I have improved my overall health by leaps and bounds that I could not imagine. Not only have I improved physically (lost almost 70 pounds and have gained a lot of strength), I have also grown mentally and emotionally, completely changing my relationship with food and exercise. Everyone is friendly, from the coaches to the other members. It’s a place where everybody knows your name, no one judges you, they accept you where and as you are, and even cheer you on because that are also on a journey. If you want to make a change in your life whether it is a small change or a life transforming change the staff at WLCF has the knowledge and the tools to guide you, encourage you, and help you reach those goals. All you have to do is show up and have fun while doing do the work and make some new friends.

I had an okay experience really up until this weekend. Came in for a foundations class, but the trainer I was supposed to train with wasn’t in. I asked the only employee that was there about it and she called him. She told me I wasn’t supposed to be there and he’ll call me and just started walking away without further explanation. I tried to show her the text to show that I was supposed to be there and she ignored me. I asked to cancel the membership because this is very unprofessional— it was frustrating bc they were just being rude for something that was clearly a misunderstanding. She said idk and I left. I talked to the trainer but honestly it just felt like it wasn’t worth the hassle to try to make a class when I wouldn’t have been able to use the membership to the fullest due to it taking three weeks to go through foundations. I found the cancellation form online and cancelled. I got a phone call the next morning and was told I wasn’t the right fit for the gym. I was indeed angry about this because I hadn’t done anything to anyone at this gym. And I was trying to cancel to no longer have contact with anyone at the gym. I asked what I did wrong and was told I could’ve handled things differently with no further explanation. I just started listing why I was quitting, along with trying to figure out what I did that would make them say that I didn’t belong there. Both trainers, kept nice tones throughout my interactions with them. It’s just what they said was uncalled for.

I joined WLRCF a little over a year ago and it has been such a great experience. I was honestly a little intimidated starting out but after foundations and experiencing how every coach provides feedback to help ensure you’re doing movements safely, I’ve come to thoroughly enjoy the workouts. Especially since being pregnant (the past 8 months), I've appreciated the gym and all the coaches even more. Having CrossFit to go to even 2-3 times a week has helped me keep moving, which was a goal of mine throughout pregnancy, and the coaches have been so helpful in helping me choose an appropriate option for scaling exercises since there's been a lot of movements I've had to adjust. The amazing and fun members at the gym are an added bonus!

Great Gym! Very Highly Recommend! I recently signed up with WestLittleRock Crossfit and loving it so far. Kristen Smith took care of my Introductory Classes for CF and I realized she is one of the best trainers I worked with, very attentive, very detailed specific, and most of all have a zeal to help the trainees and give her 100%. I heard Kristen can even do Goal Planning for each Trainee, Isn't that amazing. Group sessions were simply great, Charles and JD were the Trainers that I worked with so far and they were very Professional, they know how to get the results out of your workouts. The Workout of the day is planned before the session so trainees can know what they can expect from a session, so we can prepare for the session mentally and physically. I cannot wait to be part of this Gym community and looking forward to working with other Trainers as well. Highlights: Very Friendly and Attentive Staff Great Gym Space Great Gym Equipment Shop area: Where you can buy all your Nutritional Stuff that you need and more. Definitely Recommend!

Greatest staff and friendliest community! Great for a drop in for a commitment for a better lifesyle. Not a meat-head zone like some other crossfit gyms—down to earth folks that celebrate every little win. I’d recommend to anyone including my grandma—or your grandma!

It was hard to move to a new city and meet people during a worldwide pandemic. I needed a new gym, and took a chance on one I saw in a good friends instagram post. It turns out I did not just joined a gym...I joined a TRIBE. No matter which coach is running the class, you will be given guidance, motivation, and support as you reach new capabilities. There are people of all ages and levels of working out. Regardless of your level, you will be met with such as a positive atmosphere that you will find yourself there more then you are home! Joining WLRCF was the best decision I could have ever made!

The impression/experience has been awesome and really like the group setting. JD patiently worked with me as far as helping me understand certain exercises and positions that I tend to struggle with due to lack of flexibility. As I continue they get easier. The patience of each class leader has been great as well.

From the moment you first walk in the door at WLRC and all the times after, you are greeted by both the coaches and its members with great attitude and enthusiasm. The coaches are very professional, knowledgeable and encourage you through the entire workout. This gym puts a huge focus on not only quality work outs, but also community and family. I always leave this place feeling better than when I walked in. If you are looking for a gym to help pump you up both mentally and physically, this is the place for you!

WLRCF is absolutely amazing! My wife and I moved to Little Rock not knowing anyone and decided to give CrossFit a try. We weren’t in the best shape ever, but everyone was so supportive and welcoming that it made us actually want to go work out. Destanee guided us through our foundations, and she was and is an absolutely awesome coach! She explains things in ways that anyone can understand and has so much patience never making you feel uncomfortable with your skill level. I definitely felt confident enough to tackle the classes when we were through. Bottom line: if you want to join a gym that really is a community that does things the right way, join West Little Rock CrossFit!

West Little Rock CrossFit has great coaches and a great physical therapist on staff who understands the demands placed on the body. But best of all is an amazing community of people who are welcoming and genuine.

When we were looking for a place to workout, we knew we wanted structured classes, and an inviting atmosphere. I was super intimidated by the thought of joining a CrossFit gym, because I’m not, and never have been, a hardcore athlete. WLRCF has become the home we needed to make better decisions about our health. From a flexible class schedule, encouraging coaches, and a natural camaraderie, I honestly look forward to my workout, even if they are at 5 am. I highly recommend WLRCF, no matter your skill level.

WLRCF is the best decision I’ve made since moving to Little Rock. As a recent collegiate athlete, I struggled with my self identity & how I didn’t see myself as an “athlete” anymore. At WLRCF, I not only get to be my competitive self- but I also found people who share the same values and principles I’ve always looked for in a team/tribe. The members genuinely want the best for each other and the coaches are knowledgeable, welcoming, and positive role models in the box. If you want to not only better your physical fitness but also be part of an amazing & supportive tribe - WLRCF is for you!

WLCF is a place for everyone, no matter your fitness level. They have professionally trained coaches to help you achieve your desired fitness goal. The coaches are quick to adjust workouts to your individual ability. The environment of this gym feels more like family, as members encourage each other to achieve better health. If these are things you seek, you not regret joining this gym.

Almost two years at WLRCF and it is, hands down, one of the best decisions I have ever made! The community consists of all ages and abilities, is full of the most sincere, fun, respectful, and supportive people you will ever meet and the coaches are attentive, honest, encouraging, and knowledgeable - they are the absolute best around! Group classes at all hours (5:15am happens to be the best), personal training, PT, nutrition goals…they offer it all! You will not be disappointed!

Moving from New York to Little Rock my fiancé and I knew no one. We decided to do CrossFit and met with Matt and signed up on the spot! It was by far the best decision we made. West Little Rock CrossFit not only has great workouts BUT they also have a great community of people we are so lucky to call our friends! Jeff and the coaches are all amazing and we definitely make you laugh. I highly recommend WLCF!

West Little Rock CrossFit gave me a home in the fitness world. The members are honestly some of my best friends. The staff is always helpful and truly loves coaching. This is the best Fitness community I’ve ever been a part of.

I've been going here for years. The staff really wants you to succeed in your goals and the community is fantastic (I met my wife here!). The class program is broad enough to cover beginners and veterans. I could not climb a flight of stairs when I started and now I can move heavy things from A to B without giving it much thought. If you are thinking about trying this gym, you should.

I’ve been a part of WLRCF for about 9 months now. It’s been a great place for me and I really appreciate the atmosphere that Jeff, Chris and all the coaches provide for people like me that are new to CrossFit. I feel like they provide the training and attention to keep you safe, but the classes also push me to achieve more than I would on my own. I go as often as I can and I usually wish I could go more, because I know what I’m doing is good for me now and for my future health and overall longevity.

I’ve trained in many gyms, but WLRCF is one of a kind. Really smart staff, and an incredibly welcoming and inclusive family of members, makes this a gym that ANYONE can visit and feel at home. Regardless of experience or skill level, this is where I would send you if you wanted to learn about lifting, making new friends and celebrating yourself.

My experience has been amazing. I came in November of 2022 and wanted to bulk up and gain muscle. I started at 185 pounds. With the help of the coaches and a meal plan, also provided by the staff, I have gained and maintained a weight of 225. All muscle baby! I know a lot of people are looking to lose weight or just gain muscle definition. Whatever your goals, you can achieve it at WLRCF. You just have to show up and do the work. And the work is tough, but it’s fun, thanks to all the great coaches. Nothing meaningful is achieved without hard work and a certain level of pain. But we are all going through it together.
