I've been a resident in this community for multiple years so here's just a handful of reasons why you should not live in these apartments: 1. Overpriced. Before fees, per their site, a 1bed 1bath 707 sqft apartment costs $1530+. For a better perspective, if you make anything under $20/hour, more than half of your monthly income will go to rent, and that is before taxes... 2. Poor construction. Floors and doors do not align with ground outside, i.e. unlevel, leading to cold air entering the dwelling in during the winter time. Not only does this cause bugs to enter, but it also leads to a higher heating bill. The cabinets are very cheap with no handles leading to them breaking very easily. The sound insulation is poor so if you enjoy the peace and quiet, prepare to hear your neighbors. 3. Terrible communication

Don't move here, listen to the other poor reviews since most have some merit. I lived here for 10 months with my wife and it was enjoyable, honestly no issues during the lease. The issues happen when you leave. They never ever answer the phone and I am still waiting for them to call me back from my voicemail + email (on a separate occasion, I tried to call 10 times in a week and never got a hold of anyone). That part is annoying and unprofessional sure, but the issue is, they are so cheap and don't want to pay for a new "fill in the blank" when you leave. They will instead charge you. I have a current charge of $1,655.68 for carpet replacement. The carpet was in poor condition when we moved in. We were there for less than our lease (10 months instead of 12). Never smoked, spilled anything, and cleaned the whole apartment very well. Carpet looked just as it did when we moved in. If Mountain Gate reads these, please respond to me, call me, and remove the charge

We love it here! My family of 5 has a three bedroom here. They’re very spacious and updated! We have been here for two years and this is one of the most affordable luxury apartments we’ve had!

Haven't been here a month and already regret moving in. Not only was the apartment not ready for us, it was completely dirty, the washer had mold, spider webs everywhere, paint marks on the wood floor along with scratches, paint job was horribly done and so much more issues. They had the cleaner and painters come back the same day we were moving in and even with that it still was not up to par and as of today there are still items that need to be replaced or fixed. We sent an email to the property manager and manager assistant per their request with pictures of all the issues and they never responded to our email. We have called and even gone in person to speak to them but they have never been available, instead they always have their employees try to assist us when they can't. We had to clean and sanitized the whole apartment before we were even comfortable to spend the night. I highly recommend not moving here!

I don't even remotely get the bad reviews, I've just recently moved in and everything is wonderful! The office staff made it ridiculously easy to move in, any repairs I've needed have been very small and done within a couple of days. I got locked out of my storage closet on the patio, and the staff literally jumped the patio wall to fix it so that I wouldn't have to drive all the way home to put up the dog lol! Best apartment I've ever lived in!

I have lived here for 3 years now. The school buses come to the complex for our kids. The maintenance team is ALWAYS so prompt and they fix issues right away. The staff always emails quickly. There are nice amenities here and walking distance to the park. This year they even cleaned our carpets for free! The only downside would be the HUGE almost 10% increase when we renewed our lease each year.

My boyfriend and I got the pleasure of working with Whitney who made everything so easy! She was awesome to work with! So sweet and very personable. She explained everything to us clearly and was so knowledgeable with any questions we had. Made us feel very confident in choosing this location as our new home. Thanks Whitney!

My time that I've spent here so far (since early June of 2021) has been very pleasant to say the least. Everytime I've gone into the leasing office with any issue. I've been greeted with a positive attitude that's willing to work towards a solution. They always address the situation as fast as they can. But they make sure to mention that because of their short staff. It may take longer to get to things that aren't an emergency...so it is what it is. The apartments are nice and I'm loving the one we're in. I really like the stainless appliances. The walls are a little thin (sorry to our neighbors). I think that's every apartment anywhere though. We even had one of the maintance guys offer to help us with moving a couch when he got off of work. But we ended up moving the couch ourselves. Still very thoughtful. Overall this place is one of the better apartments I been at!
