My
hearing
was
slowly
deteriorating
with
time.
Recently,
I
was
becoming
concerned
for
my
safety
when
crossing
the
street,
since
I
could
not
hear
cars
coming.
Outings
with
friends
were
not
as
enjoyable
anymore,
since
I
could
barely
hear
the
conversations.
I
could
go
on
and
on.
I
visited
Dr.
Dusty
out
of
desperation,
but,
frankly
speaking,
I
did
not
expect
much.
What
can
she
do
for
me,
other
than
perhaps
amplify
the
sound?
Oh,
boy,
was
I
wrong.
In
one
visit,
she
tested
my
hearing
range
and
fitted
me
with
a
superb
hearing
aid,
which
picked
up
the
frequencies
I
was
missing.
Now
I
could
hear
as
well
as
I
did
when
I
was
young.
The
same
day
I
went
to
the
theater
to
see
the
movie
"Chevalier",
in
which
the
main
character
is
a
violin
player.
I
could
hear
everything,
and
loved
every
note
of
the
violin
playing.
I
could
hear
at
home
the
water
drip
in
the
kitchen
faucet,
sound
of
pages
of
the
book
as
I
was
turning
them,
chirping
of
the
birds
in
our
backyard.
Dr.
Dusty
has
given
me
back
the
joy
of
the
sound.
I
used
to
yell
when
I
talked;
now
I
speak
normally.
My
message
to
the
readers:
yes,
miracles
exist!
Dr.
Dusty
is
not
only
a
true
professional,
with
a
doctorate
in
audiology,
but
she
is
committed
to
helping
patients
and
does
the
best
possible
for
them.
She
took
her
time
to
explain
everything
to
me,
to
fit
the
hearing
aid
and
to
follow
up.
No
shortcuts
with
her!
I
also
greatly
respect
that
she
donates
portion
of
the
bills
to
the
charity
which
helps
people
who
cannot
hear
well,
but
cannot
afford
hearing
aids.
Thanks
you
Dr.
Dusty
for
helping
me,
giving
me
back
the
joy
of
sound,
and
thus
improving
quality
of
my
life!
