With Halloween right around the corner, I wanted to hype up Hudson Garden’s magic of the Jack o’lantern event! Despite the large crowds, we had no trouble finding parking. The display was well thought out and had a lot of variety in themes (I loved the classic art carvings in particular) and colors represented. Despite being only a few days before Halloween, the walking path was not overly crowded and there were plenty of photo opps where we had just us in frame. There were lots of food vendors selling fall favorites and treats to warm you up while you walked. This would be a good event for families and younger kids especially. We are all older and enjoyed the event, but felt it was probably not geared toward our demographic. We don’t regret going though! A wonderful fall outing! Note: I have only been to the gardens for this event, so I cannot speak to how they are during a regular day

The Magic of the Jack 🎃’ Lanterns event was an amazing Halloween experience on the beautiful grounds of the Hudson Gardens. The whole family enjoyed the myriad of artfully carved pumpkins while we walked around the gardens. Oct 2023

My first time visiting Hudson Gardens since i moved to CO. I live maybe just a few miles from this location and never even knew it was there really. The place is really nice. I went for the Magic Jack O' Latern Festival thing and it was really cool. It was almost like going to a popup art show of sorts. What they did with pumpkins was really creative and fun to view.

Such a beautiful place. I make an attempt at visiting at least quarterly. This time was to get some photos of the family and oldest daughter's boyfriend. Fantastic as always, though we had to kind of move periodically to stay out of the way of a wedding party getting their photos done. Obviously not anyone's fault, everyone loves this botanical happy place!

Amazing! Such an incredible art! And the spiked hot chocolate was so tasty and nice to sip on while looking at pumpkins. We spent probably an hour there or so. They also had couple foot trucks on site.

We have been here twice for Magic of the Jack O' Lanterns. It's a wonderful event, and the kids (and adults) just love it!! There's so much time and creativity put into the carvings and decor. It's one of our favorite things to do near Halloween!! They have food trucks and also sell drinks (alcoholic and non) inside the event. Go to their website and sign up for their newsletter - they have pre-sales on tickets late summer, and you can get them heavily discounted to use at a later date when tickets go on sale!! Well worth the 6 hour drive for us!!

This place was so amazing!! I enjoyed it for the 1st time ever & I am so glad that I did. I will come to every event they have here. The jack o lanterns garden was full of thousands of carved pumpkins you cant even keep count. They have so much detail in the carving of the picture. They had concession stands that serves alcohol and non alcoholic beverages. They have food and snacks Available as well. They also had an option to purchase 3d glasses to get more of a vivid experience. I'd say we spent about 2 hours here enjoying all detail and the full walk through. It was a great night and I am definitely coming back for the other holidays they celebrate here!!!!

This is a lovely place! I didn’t realize there were special holiday events here until I went looking at what other people were saying. Can’t tell how much parking there is exactly, but if you want to have the place mostly to yourselves without people crowding you it seems a rainy day is the day to go! We only saw small groups like ourselves here and there, so it was lovely. Flowers are out but not quite in full bloom I think- it’s been more temperate than usual. The coffee shop closes for inclement weather which totally makes sense, might have been a good day for a sandwich and chai though! They are open until sundown but the welcome center closes at 4:00. A wonderful *free* place to walk around.

So amazing for this to be back this year! We loved it 2 years ago and feel like that display had a little but more pizazz to it. But that's not to say that this year isn't just ad amazing! So much fun, I highly recommend going. It's perfect for taking some fun holiday pictures both outside and at their inside sets. Such a good time, great for kids and adults.

Ready for a holiday stroll through acres of lights? This is your place and perfect for families and couples alike. Not overly large but plenty of different lighting set-ups to enjoy - plan on about an hour to stroll the grounds. Parking is a little far away (but free!) and a bit of a walk to get to the garden entrance-come early if you want a closer spot. Convenient handicap parking is available at a lot that’s closer if you need it. Coffee shop is open and hot chocolate is a great treat on a cold winter night.

We went to the Halloween event put on by the 13th Floor. It was outstanding! The place is bigger than I remembered. There were lots of people, but as it was outside, it didn't seem too bad. The carvings were unbelievable!! Everyone was so friendly.

Went to get a sneak preview of their upcoming Halloween Nights Event...so many pumpkins being carefully arranged throughout the grounds! The rose garden is still beautiful but we didnt see many water lilys on this visit. The gardens are so well maintained and it makes for such a lovely and peaceful walk. Can see everything in about an hour and appreciate the cute little coffee shop on the property which is also available to those on the bike trail behind the gardens. Can't believe it's free!

This is a lovely spot for a relaxing walk. Beautiful areas to read, reflect, or draw. Little Cafe area is cute and a fun spot to picnic. Friendly staff at the gift shop as well.

We went for the Magic of the Jack-o-lanterns. It was gorgeous. The way they set up the place made it easy to see everything that was on display. They had quite a few stands so the cold wasn't even an issue when we went. I had a lot of fun and 100% would visit again.

We love the Christmas lights here. We've done them all. Botanic Gardens, Chatfield, Zoo lights. This is the best. The lights are pretty, the space is spread out enough that it's not super crowded like Botanic Gardens, the parking is well managed. The line to get hot drinks is only a few minutes. Lots of places to sit down and enjoy the view. Fun Christmas questions to discuss along the route. Since we started coming here a few years ago, we've never gone anywhere else!

Hudson Gardens does it again! Hands down puts on the best holiday events and makes them extremely family friendly. Magic of the Jack O’Lanterns was absolutely stunning. It has themed areas with extremely detailed pumpkin carvings that was fun for the kiddos (and myself) to discover. It’s so well planned out and efficient that just makes it that more enjoyable. If you can get tickets still, do it! If not, they also have a Christmas event that is beautiful as well!

We went to "Pumpkin Nights." It was so spectacular! It was evident how much time and effort was spent on carving and decorating these pumpkins! There is quite a long line to enter, I'd recommend getting tickets ahead to skip some of the waiting. Parking was very distant from the location, but we enjoyed ourselves with the delicious butter beer drinks and hot cocoa later.

We went for The Magic of the Jack-o'-lanterns. It was a beautiful evening for it. Pumpkin carvings were so cool. Prices are better if you pick a set time as opposed to general admission. Parking was free. We spent almost two hours looking at the over 7,000 pumpkins on display.

Magic of the Jack O Lanterns did not disappoint. A great time with family and friends. I enjoyed my visit and would recommend it to others. The only thing I would suggest is wear shoes you don't mind getting dusty. The trail is dirt. Otherwise a fabulous experience.

This is such a peaceful, beautiful garden. We loved walking around and seeing all the beautiful flowers and ponds.

The gardens are a nice place for a walk and taking in the various sculptures, trees and areas dedicated to those who have passed. We went there on a hot summer day, and enjoyed the walk. Pretty cool seeing a deer just hanging out in the shade.

Hudson Gardens has an awesome light show. While entrance is expensive the lights were fun to see. With a little bit of imagination they will incorporate more moving lights. They did have multiple displays with photo ops like bridges, sleighs, and more

Love walking here. Beautiful and serene. It makes you feel like you are far away from the hustle and bustle of the big city. It is so well kept and free.

I went in the spring, so many things weren't in full bloom and the staff were working on re-planting water lily's, so the fountains were not full, but we still enjoyed the leisurely strill through the grounds. You could spend an hour or more here. The walking paths vary between paved and stone paths. Pictured is the garden kaleidoscope that changes seasonally. It looks like a beautiful place for a wedding or event.

A lovely day with my mother who's 92 , we spent the afternoon at Hudson gardens it was very beautiful and relaxing 😌 put on your walking shoes and travel along the gravel maze to each exhibit, there was more to see but mom could only walk with her wslk so far hard with the wheels. Gift shop very nice as were the employees, all proceeds go to up keep of the park. Christmas the do a spectacular lights display.

Decided to try out the jack-o'-lantern event at Hudson Gardens while in Denver visiting and it was great! Parking was easy with plenty of directions given, and the event itself was large and inviting. Decorations were extremely festive and it was nice to see the different food/drink options available. Would do again if I found myself in Denver around Halloween!

We went this and last year for Magic of the Jack-o-Lanterns and had so much fun! The carvings mixed with lights are amazing! It's a great date night, though it's pretty chilly so prepare to bundle up, get some spiked hot cider/chocolate/coffee and snuggle up with your date! It gets a bit crowded and better spacing of parties to keep it a more intimate experience would be nice. The displays don't change much from year to year so I think we will skip next year to allow for more change and a better wow factor during our next visit, but we fully intend on making this biannual event.

2022-Sept. I was here to take pictures of my nieces. (Sorry, I don't take photos commercially). The facility is free and it is pretty. Some gravel paths. Has wood pedestrian bridges, small lake background, flowers, etc. It was a pleasant walk.

👍👍 9th grade Son's K12 Online School had their Prom here. He loved it an had a great time. Easy access from Belleview but not easy to see until your right up on it. Parking seemed limited but there was handicapped access. Very nice facilities overall, clean and well maintained.

🫤 Decent beer options, cocktails are good. Service is absolutly terrible. The place is empty and my glass is empty, but none of the 3 people working the bar ask about another drink or if I'm ready to settle-up. NOT the first time I've experienced this here.
