😐 For the price I cannot knock the gaff. The olympic bars are also very good. However, the water fountain is constantly broken , when it works it swivels around like nobody knows how to tighten a bolt and I swear to the iron gods there was a chewing gum in the plug for about 3 days the other week. I've been a member for a few months. Lots of equipment, and the staff are generally quite friendly. It's not uncommon for a lot of the equipment is be missing weight pins, and it gets pretty crowded at peak times. It's worth noting that the value for money, especially compared to other gyms within Liverpool is outstanding. Edit: Since writing this review, the issue with the weight pins being missing has been rectified. I reported this to staff at the time, who have obviously gone away and sorted it. Many thanks!

Worst Gym I have ever been to, the chubby receptionist is constantly sitting down by sales desks. chatting up the females rather than helping members of the gym who needed assistance. The male toilets were constantly dirty. toilet paper all over the floor hand soap all over the wall and sinks. Seen a cleaner sitting outside having a few ciggies. rather than cleaning the areas that needed cleaning. Won't be coming here again. Oh and it's so cold in the gym that I think it's against the law to even be operating.?

However, the water fountain is constantly broken , when it works it swivels around like nobody knows how to tighten a bolt and I swear to the iron gods there was a chewing gum in the plug for about 3 days the other week. The machines are knackered, all the stickers have come off so you have to guess what you're lifting and there are so many holes in the walls! Not to mention the pins in the machines go missing so you have to go hunting for them. What ever you do don't miss a direct debit! I missed one as I was a penny short (my error I've always admitted that) but they would not take this into consideration at all, £25 charge on top of that months direct debit. I was gutted. Kinda put me off a little bit as I'd have thought they may have had a little room to move as I'd never done it before and never since. Disappointed me

Great gym, I joined up just over a month ago, after being at another gym for 4 years and I'm loving it. There is a huge area for training, lots of equipment, so you are always able to get on what you want, when you want. They have five sets of multifunctional cables, which you can all change the handles on, which is great. They have also just installed three additional lifting platforms!

For such a low price of about £14.99 a month you really do get a bang for your buck. The staff are friendly, the equipment is varied and numerous and its location is accessible. I would reccomend anyone who is a either a veteran or a newcomer to the gym to make this place their main place!

Great gym , great staff ,great equipment! This place is huge & has everything you need & more. The price is fantastic for what you get. I dont understand these people who are moaning giving 1 stars ? It's a working gym sometimes things are broken & then they get repaired, but there is more than enough equipment to last a lifetime

Surprised about some of the reviews online - as for the price, I think this is a brilliant gym! Sure a few bits and bobs need fixing/updating but on the whole I’m very impressed with this place. Staff are pleasant enough, especially the young lad Phil on weekends always greets me with a smile. I’ve signed two friends up already (good to join when an offer is on!)

I like Xercise4Less Speke is always so clean & all the weights are always put back & even put back in the right place. I have been to gyms where the weights are dirty, all over the floor & many are missing. So as always very pleased with how the gym is looked after by both staff & members....seems like members follow suit to keep the gym looking clean. I've been to many gyms and that is always a gripe of mine not being able to find weights...or any staff! Five stars for this 'budget' gym which is much better than the expensive ones I go to once or twice a month on my boyfriends guest passes.

Amazing value for money. I pay <£10/month, they've got 2 squat racks, 2 standalone platforms, 3 rack & platform setups... I train in the mornings and can always use the kit I want. Hot showers, plenty of lockers. Only reason it doesn't get 5 is because most of their barbells aren't 28mm which irritates me as an Oly lifter!
