My colleague who is vegan by dietary requirement was delivered a pork burrito with cheese and sour cream because Barburrito labeled the order incorrectly. She has had a severe allergic reaction. I called the restaurant on her behalf to make them aware of their error. The lady who answered the phone accepted no responsibility, advising we contact deliveroo for a refund despite this being the error of Barburrito. My colleague unfortunately had an allergic reaction and was violently sick. Its sad that Barburrito did not accept any responsibility, they obviously have not thought about any possible legal repercussion for their poor working standards. I would not recommend ordering any food from Barburrito, because I would not want anyone else to suffer personal injury, or their rude customer service. Kind regards, Eric Sweeney

I used to love this place. With Liverpool One, Trafford Centre or when I am driving past Leeds restaurant on business. Feels like something has changed? Loaded burrito removed from the menu. Guacamole runny and with a weird taste, I couldn’t taste the avocado? I remember when they used to do grilled steak and have loads of toppings to choose from. In Liverpool One the grill isn’t being for cooking, but storing equipment on… Spent £50 for two adults and my little girl and left feeling disappointed and ripped off. You have lost my customer Barburrito 🙁

Nice and quick Mexican inspired food. Not the most authentic or the best, but its good price and a nice variety makes this place shine where others don't.

We are from Greece and we went to eat there. Very disappointed. We don’t speak very good English and they laughed at us for no reason. We asked about cheddar cheese and they didn’t know what was that and they laughed about it again.. who doesn’t know what cheddar cheese is? And if you don’t know then don’t laugh and be rude at customers. They were 2 bloodies young girls. So rude both of them.

Staff where amazing, and the restaurant was amazing. Now on to the important part. The food, absolutely incredible never eaten here prior to this visit. I found the options and flavours available made it perfectly easy to find what I wanted. I chose the California which came with fries with cheese, fillings was pulled pork and chorizo chicken and abit extra grated cheese. This was arguably the best burrito I’ve ever had the meat was delicious and full of juices. I also got chorizo chicken on a bed of melted cheese and nachos which to my surprise was also delicious. I cannot wait to revisit this place.

Lovely food as usual, but due to the time visiting stock was pretty low so didn’t have any vegan chicken. Staff were apologetic for this though.

Is the food here okay? Yes, yes it is. Would I eat here again? No, no I wouldn't. My first time experience the Barburrito chain left me disappointed. We arrived at 6pm and ordered. Service was decent but the perspex barrier made it very hard to hear. Queso and guacamole are extras, be mindful of that. The queso was really runny and not worth it. The food was warm, but had an interesting aftertaste. It wasn't bad, but wasn't great either. The spinach was questionable too. They also had no fried at 6pm, and the offered wait was sufficient enough that we would have eaten our food before they were ready. If you're interested, it's worth a go, and the food is interesting enough. Personally I would go to Tortilla around the corner.

First time ordering from here and definitely the last. Ordered a Classic Meal for 1 (Burrito and Churros), Chips with Cheese and a Tub of Salsa. From order placed to actual delivery time was 71 minutes (I didn't mind the wait) but the Burrito arrived cold, the Churros were solid (as was the Sauce that go with them), there were no Chips BUT I did get the Tub of Cheese and Salsa to go with my non existent Chips 😂 Honestly, save your money!

For Delivery - The cold drinks were placed in the bag with the food which cooled it down, the only reason the food wasnt cold when it arrived was from the speed in which the driver made the delivery so I could separate the food and beverages. The Burritos Tasted Amazing! Just really annoying how they could of been perfectly hot if they were to of put the cold drinks in a separate bag, which is only logical... I hope this is an isolated incident by a member of staff but it may not be.

I went to Barburrito for the first time today and left asking myself...why haven't I been here before?! Food and service was amazing, couldn't recommend it enough! The manager was absolutely lovely, she was Irish and it's true what they say about the irish..they are great! I can't wait to go again, next time I'm gonna get the California Chicken Burrito, so glad I went there today... I'll be back!!

we come here very week before our cinema date, and all the staff are lovely! In particular the lovely Amy (think her second name is johnson) who always goes above and beyond! always greets us with a smile and even remembers our order (we never change!!) great service, great burritos! great value! no wonder we come back every week! xx thanks again Amy! x

I visited this restaurant yesterday 30.5.2022. I was greeted by a lovely girl called Sam who explained how the menu works and pointed out the different meats in the containers. (You can even sample the meats which I thought was great) She was very friendly and the restaurant had a good vibe. The restaurant was very clean, all the tables were wiped, the surfaces where the staff work with the food / prep was very clean too. The portions are amazing for the price too. A new favourite for me 👍🏼 I will be coming back and I definitely recommend

What a disappointment. I had never been in this eatery before and always wanted to try it. So as it was my birthday I went to Liverpool for the day with my daughter and decided on a burrito. All I can say is I did not expect such poor quality of food. By the time my burrito was complete and wrapped, it was obvious there was too much filling in one tortilla wrap. As I then opened it within the foil it was impossible to eat as it started to ooze out and break up as it was too full. I chose beef as my meat option and the thick pieces could not be chewed. It was cold. The wrap was like leather. I was so disappointed and so was my daughter. Having paid nearly £25 for 2 burritos and 2 beers, the food was well below par and the beers over priced. I have tried it and it's not worth the money at all. Also they should not charge extra for a small dollop of guacamole either.

This place really is a strange one. A few years ago they served up some of the tastiest burritos in town as a pretty great fast food option. But today? Today the burrito was somehow both dry and over wet, with rice poorly cooked and chicken that tasted more like bad processed pork. Did I eat it? Yes, because I was hungry. Do I recommend it? No, because I now fear for my stomach tomorrow morning.

Really abysmal customer service. They mumble and can't look you in the eye. It's 75p extra or something to get peppers and onions on your burrito which is cheeky at best. The food is watery and under seasoned and one server just forgot our order. Really dreadful atmosphere and experience. I'll be going back to Tortilla for my next Burrito fix.

Went last night, food was fine but the woman serving (seemed to be the supervisor) made us really uncomfortable whilst ordering as she was trying to just hurry us along because there was a queue of like 4 people behind us and was just being rude in the meantime. Also the glass barrier is so low and customers without masks were more or less stood over the food and spreading spatter all over the food as they spoke to staff.

Good place to eat. You can get unlucky sometimes where they don't have beans etc. They need to manage stock a bit better. Also need to make sure your staff checking temps of food etc are following hygiene procedures. Have seen some dodgy stuff here.

Stumbled on this place when doing the riveroflight. Never been to one before and staff were good running the 4 of us through how to order and the options. Everyone happy and filled by what we ordered, ranging from pulled pork, Chicken and the veggie options. As I heard someone else say. Basically its a Mexican food version of Subway! It's good for a hunger stop, 3 stars seems too low and 4 a bit too high, so it's probably a 3.75

I have never tried a burrito before I came to Barburrito , I must say I was rather impressed ! The burrito was very tasty and filling and I could have easily had two ! The interior was very chill and the atmosphere was good ! I recommend to anyone for something quick and tasty to eat !

The place is always full of life, kind and helpful staff who always try to give you the best service. With regards to the food, they really don't skip out as their portions are great while the quality is outstanding. This is a place I see myself visiting many times.

Horrible experience which resulted having an upset stomach all day today, thank you for a great gift for such beautiful weekend. Burritos were soggy, tasteless, vegetables were just put in in massive chunks like half of bell pepper, meat was acidic halfway through had to stop eating it as my gums became sore from all that acid. Fries were soggy, dry, overcooked and tasteless, churios came black as a charcoal (picture posted) and all that I waited for 2 hours. Was chef blind or something? I would rather not serve at all then churios like that. Was my first and last time here. Complete disrespect. Don't recommend to anyone especially if you don't want an upset stomach. P.S Ordered two kinds of burritos the personel didn't even bother writing down which is which like how hard was it to write in a few letters like so many other places do?! Useless.

Decent enough food quality but pretty expensive at £11 for a standard burrito & a can of coke in what has to described as a noisy cafe with teenagers racing around.

Never eaten here before had actually walked past but the place we wanted was full. Checked on the find me gluten free app and here was recommended. Absolutely blown away by the choices and staff attitude to gluten free. Food was interesting and tasty will definitely be back

I've always wanted to try barburrito but was a bit nervous as I wasn't sure what I was doing (ordering)and there was lots to choose from. The staff here were lovely and the girl serving me talked me through each step and made sure i got exactly what I wanted :-) would definitely come again the food was amazing and so filling!

Said would be ordering some fries with our burrito and the girl said would be about 5 mins (no problem) then when we went to pay were told would be 7 mins from that point - I get the impression they didn't want to bother making the fries - we never ordered. Food was only luke warm but was tasty and we were served quickly. Won't be in a hurry to be back.

Amazing service (served by Nikita today) and the manager (Lee) whilst serving took the time to ask me how my day was etc. and I witnessed how good he is with his staff too. Just a really good relaxed vibe which is what you want when you go to eat be coming here again

We went here for churros but there were very small and not good. I didn’t appreciate the cinnamon on the churros. 4 churros for 4,25£. Not worth it.

Not visited the store since before the pandemic hit, but through lockdowns and since, the Liverpool store has been delivering delicious burritos to my office across town. Easily the best burritos in the city. Many thanks to Team Barbs for today’s great lunch!

Burritos were faultless! Skin on fries were really disappointing..cold and soggy. Chipotle dip was amazing though.

The burritos are wrapped and filled to perfection, the chicken is moist and falls apart perfectly whilst the wrap keeps its shape without faults and the foil keeps it fresh and warm for however long you need so yeah scran on that and you’ll like it lad

Me and my partner had an experience here yesterday. We have frequently burritos from there but this time something was not right. We waked in, the lovely man who was serving us came across as rude and rushed us through the order. We felt like we were ordering our last meal but we still had to pay for it. We were the only clients and there was also a member of staff just standing. My partner had the superfood burrito, the vegetarian one and I had the Californian burrito, with fries. We both had stomach problem until the next day and I am sure something was not right with the burrito. Please pay attention to the freshness of your food. Thanks

Family day out to Liverpool to pick up our wedding suits (for our now postponed wedding) we ate at Bar Burrito when we first went to pick out the suits and it was lovely! This visit was the complete opposite, we were rushed to order and given a small bag chips instead of the nachos we ordered, the fries has clearly been in the warmer all day, half were crispy and the other half cold mush. My daughters childrens chicken burrito was too salty and chicken was too over cooked for her to eat. Our chicken and chorizo burritos were so dripping in grease they were falling apart...and there was no cutlery to be able to eat it easier! The cokes we over spent on were warm and the whole meal was a disaster! I have made a complaint with the head office as I am still awaiting a full refund but I have had to chase this up as a week later (when them specify 48 hrs) I still haven't received a call. So disappointing, completely ruined the day out we have been waiting months to do.

A great fast food place but it quickly runs out of things, they only had white rice when we went today. My youngest ate free as it was half term which was a nice surprise. I asked for a vegan bowl and was asked if I wanted peppers (this option should be renamed onion though) or mushroom. After saying it was a vegan bowl I thought I'd get both but no, just mushrooms which was disappointing. I then got offered cheese which I declined saying it wasn't vegan 😂. They did get fresh salad out though as the one on display had cheese accidentally dropped into it. I would go again though.

Delicious burritos, don’t bother with the fries as the regular burrito is big enough to satisfy the hungriest of people! Hand wash could do with soap and hand drying facilities.

The Food is nice. If you're into spicy food you'll be disappointed, the hot beans and salsa are very medium. Again it tasted fine and would recommend it for taste and that only. The staff serving you here look like they hate their jobs, and were not helpful with explaining the types of choices you can pick from. I felt uncomfortable choosing my extras. The seating area was a complete mess, and food left on tables had clearly been left there for 30 mins plus! With COVID19 being the main hype the last few months I can tell you that this store was clearly not following their guild lines that were set out for food establishments. If you're health conscious I'd recommend staying away for the time being, if not don't eat inside there, evacuate that burrito elsewhere!!

It was my first visit on Sunday The food is delicious. I had the vegan chicken burrito and chips. What made my first visit special was the fantastic customer service. Every member of staff was cheerful and friendly. The young girl who served me was very helpful and explained what everything was. I wish I had got her name so I could mention her. I'll definitely be going again.

Delicious! A firm family favourite with husband, 5 year old son and baby daughter who is currently been weaned. Something for everyone's tastebuds. Hope to try the garlic mayo next time as they had run out today. Only downside is that for a smear of guacamole on a kids burrito it will set you back £1 and they don't do ANY meal deals.

Always love the food here. The California Burrito is my favourite up to now. Full of carby goodness. Topped with the hot sauce, it's perfect for a hangover! Staff are great. I have nothing bad to say about this place.

It was okay I didn't really like it but I didn't really hate it. Their tortillas are oddly chewy and the meat a smidge dry so that was harder to chew too. The queso is not worth the extra 75p it's really runny and just melted away into my burrito as if not there. They were out of chips which was a bummer. The hot salsa and spicy beef have a good heat to them. Floor needed a sweep but otherwise it was clean and has a nice open atmosphere. Service was fast.
