The staff here are extremely rude. Every time I pick up an item and head over to pay I more often than not have to deal with an unprofessional employee at checkout. It’s almost like they don’t want to be there and give off a very disgusting attitude towards paying customers. It’s great you want to give young people the opportunity to work here but some of them simply just have bad manners and really shouldn’t be working at this store.

Really great clothes and footwear but the staff aren't very helpful and seem like they can't be bothered being there and would rather be chatting amongst themselves. Music is also terrible but that'd down to my personal taste. Too loud for a clothes store though. A dj is also unnecessary.

The music that was being played today 12th April 2022 was so loud that I could not hear the shop assistant I was trying to get assistance from, there was absolutely no where in the shop to find an area where you could talk and hear, even the member of staff I was trying to talk to said that it was difficult for them to communicate with customers. For a shop this size and the prices they charge I don't appreciate it sounding like a night club where everyone has to shout to be heard. It was so loud that my autistic son had to leave the premises resulting in an extremely stressful shop. There where young children in the shop who became distressed by the volume.

Came in store today to spend money to purchase some trainers and some other items. Spent £350 worst experience I’ve ever had shopping. Staff was acting suspicious around me thinking I was stealing or something. I’ve never been so embarrassed in all my life. Then when I got to the checkout the person serving didn’t even aknowledge me in the slightest . I am mortified I feeling like returning all the items!

I picked up 3 items and decided to try them on to check they fit. The assistant in the changing room made me feel like I was going to steal something ! After telling her the amount of items and showing her them, she then said she needed to count herself. Her attitude made me decide not to buy the items from the store.

Hopeless place to buy shoes. The person attending to us didn't know anything about the products on display. I bought a pair of Nike vapourmax and they were a bit too tight for me. My usual size is 7. So I went back to the store and asked if I could try out a bigger size. The same lady started telling me that I cannot get these exchanged now since I've already worn them. How else was I supposed to know if the fit is correct or not? Anyhow I just left the store coz i had to get back to Birmingham. I had enquired at the time of purchase if something goes wrong with these shoes or I have any issues then could I get it replaced. They assured me that I could opt for a return and refund within 2 weeks and a replacement within 1 month of purchase. Well these shoes will be lying with me and I probably won't be wearing them any more. Thank you Liverpool JD for this wonderful experience. That's 130 pounds down the drain. I'd request other customers not to fall for such tricks.

I went to JD Sports in Liverpool one looking forward to buy a new pair of shoes. However, it was a stressful and unpleasant shopping experience. I asked a shop assistant to try a pair of shoes but his approach was arrogant and careless, he tried to sell me some shoes spray but when I refused he totally ignored me and did not give me further assistance, when I asked a different shoe number he did not serve me at all and I never tried the requested pair of shoes, maybe he was too busy chatting with his colleagues. Very poor customer service and lack of respect from staff

Decided to go in for a pair of trainers. Asked a member of staff who had a face on cos a customer had asked for something. She threw the shoe at a lad and barked the size at him. Stood there waiting for 10 mins whilst staff just shouting a shoe size and nothing else. Ended up going to the converter belt to ask if the shoes had come up and a supervisor came over and asked what the problem was. He went to reorder them and the store didn't even have the size I wanted. The lad must have known that when he checked but most of the staff seem to not want to communicate with the customers, oh yeah that's what your there for. Walked out and ordered from Nike directly

This was once a great shopping experience but over the years things have got worse and worse. The selection of clothes is poor and if your XL or bigger than good luck in finding anything decent. JD sports might as be called JD skinny because bigger and taller people don't seem to be catered for!!! The cap section is also poor they once had a great variety to choose from! But i do think there trainers here are great maybe a bit overpriced but what isn't these days!!!

Absolutely the worst trainer shop in Liverpool,10 tills only 1 person who was till trained people from america waiting for service nearly 20 minutes to get served,made up I don't give jd any of my money I told my friend to leave his items and go elsewhere

One of the best sport fashion stores I’ve been to ever. It’s like internet live. Very delicate interior. Lots of brands, all the main. The staff didn’t see me. I saw them all over the place. If you look for trainers both sport and fashion this the place. Wheelchair access. No parking outside

You need to train your staff better. I have bought a pair of trainers and a tracksuit and they put in the bag two pairs of trousers. I still didn't had enough time to come and change them. Please be more careful

Seems like an efficient system they have going on in this JD, however the employees failed to mention how exactly this worked to us so we were left a bit confused when they took the shoes back and never returned. In the end we had to ask one of the 3 that had attended to us earlier on and then they informed us that the shoes get taken straight to the back of the tills to pay for them.

Young staff who just look at you with attitude. Went shopping with my grandson. Waited for 20 mins for a sale's salesperson to be told sorry no stock. What a load of rubbish went to foot asylum got what he wanted and saved £30 .JD Sports should be ashamed having young sale's people don't work

The worst branch in the best company. I ordered Shoes On Running At first, two people ignored me, after that I spoke to a girl who brought her to me and asked to change the size, and no one brought. I sat for more than half an hour and didn’t get any shoes, the worst staff

Nice and well laid out store. Helpful staff. I got a backpack from here.. The options are a bit limited but still not bad..

Great choice of clothing and trainers. The only thing is the workers dress in their own clothes and it's hard to know who works there to help you ,it us literally spot the JD lanyard .

I was really disappointed with the service I received in regards to an item that was faulty. The service from Liverpool One shop was very unfriendly so I asked could I speak to the manager, she replied i am the manager. I asked for the customer service email address, she replied google it ( it often a reflection on bad customer care when such a reply is used) I asked again and she reluctantly found it for me. I have made a complaint to customer service and how am feeling at the moment is disappointed, I always thought JD was a positive company, however I am now having my doubts

Poor customer service not helpful tried to buy trainer only had one shoe in size put on display. If have not got why do put on display.

I ordered a pair of trainers online and collected them in store. Unfortunately they were too tight so I took them back in hopes I could exchange them for a bigger size. I explained this to one of the members of staff and she just dismissed me quite rudely saying if they’re on sale they wouldn’t have any other sizes and quickly left me. I tried on a similar shoe from the same brand to make sure it fit and asked another member of staff if I could return my trainers and just buy the size I wanted online. He went and actually checked the stock, and found the trainers in my size. Thank you to him for actually being really helpful and doing his job properly.

What I found strange is ...I was looking for help, saw the female, and politely asked if she could help me. She looked at me and said I will get someone. From across the store she called a young lad over and told him to see to me. Wow.. a boss that doesnt get involved, not a nice example

I went in here today to buy some new running shoes. Stores are often a bit overwhelming as I have bad anxiety - especially when shopping for something like new shoes. The staff were really kind and helpful and so patient with me as well whilst I decided what to get. Absolutely lovely store and such kind and genuine staff ❤️

just been looked down at by the teenager staff . 12 year old son was trying multi pants on as unable to find a size to fit . was approached in front of other customers that I wasn't allow in the changing room due to increase theft looking me up and down making me feel so uncomfortable- when I said he's only 12 she just walked away and started laughing. to a colleague.

Lovely big shop with really helpful friendly staff who seem to take pleasure in assisting customers. We had a great shopping experience.

Bought a pair of Nike Air Max for £165, only tried one trainer on. Got home to try the other side on and the quality was very poor. Cannot believe how its been passed to sell. Will be taking back 2moro. BTW whose idea was it to turn it into a club with aDj? Can't hear urself think and group's of youngsters bopping at front store!

Lots of good trainers and sports gear if you can put up with the rubbish music that's blasted out. Some of the staff aren't really bothered. Lad who served me didn't even make eye contact!

Nice spacious modern shop the 2 assistants who served me (male) were brilliant quite alot of staff so doesn't take long to get served. Lots of choice in both footwear & sports clothes.

Now the clothes and trainers are not bad in here, but the dear lord you cant hear yourself think in there. Yesterday the music seemed louder than ever and i actually had to leave the store before actually finding what i needed!

Staff in this store couldn't be more helpful. JD stores have a great reputation and that can be said here too. New runners acquired in minutes excellent service thank you

Prices of shoes are a bit on the high side but they are of good quality.

My kids like to buy clothes from this shop and i like buy shoes from JD sport And clothes for sport and comfortable clothes

Fantastic store. Well laid out and tidy.

The store is always very busy and sometimes you have to wait a bit to get your shoes, the in store staff may not have the best customer service skills but I do understand they’re mostly young and have to start from somewhere. The customer service helpline is available 24/7 and while I found staff very polite and helpful, unfortunately I have been given wrong information and this caused me having to call them 4 times to have my online order sorted. Eventually it all went well.

It's a sports shop. I don't get excited over trainers and lycra shorts... actually I do when they're on my fella.
