    I had an appointment for ear wax removal in Lord Street. I was very disappointed because the man who had to do the procedure said he didn't have time to do anything. He sure had at least 15 minutes! I rushed from work to this appointment. His attitude was arrogant and disrespectful. I felt very uncomfortable. Such a rude person should not work with people. I have never had this kind of experience in the medical field. It's a shame that you have such unprofessional staff. I am very disappointed!

    Had my first eye test here today and everything was quick and easy. All staff were pleasant and friendly. The main test was done by Charlotte who said she had recently completed her studies and needed to get her work signed off by a supervisor. She was very natural and professional, you wouldn't have thought she was newly qualified if not for it being mentioned.

    Great an quick service. My son lost a screw in his glasses and therefore could not wear it anymore because the left glass kept falling out. Mr. Dan fixed the problem within 1 minute and placed a new screw and this without charging us any money for this great quick service.

    Staff extremely helpful however glasses I chose are just cheap plastic that bends easily I could not afford to put money towards the glasses as I don’t work so was very limited as to what I could get

    I have been here multiple times now, both for glasses and contacts and each time every person I spoke to was friendly and very helpful. I'm not the best in social situations, but these guys are so easy to talk to that the appointments are actually positive experiences. Honestly would highly recommend :)

    Highly disappointed with the whole process of just getting a single appointment for lens number. The lady precisely told me that my eye test would be free and all i have to pay is for lens. Now i rushed for my appointment and to my surprise, i not only have to pay for ky eye test but i also have to pay for my additional lens test and then wait for lens to come which would be a separate day and date. If this is how you people work, then i don’t know how are ppl your customers. Pathetic services.

    Dear (Steph), you don't need to be rude and arrogant with customers especially children ! It's a shame for some one like you to work in a professional field ! My family and I, were loyal customer since 2017. Never experienced such poor and unprofessional attitude like this lady.

    Just called in to buy some replacement sleeves to go round my ears on my safety specs. Fobbed off with, you gotta buy complete new specs..... from a group of staff having a conflab around reception desk. Probably too busy or lazy to help me out ! Had previously been helped out a couple of years ago, times change and so do staff attitudes.

    I called to let the staff know I would be 10 minutes late to my appointment, they said that's fine. When I arrived they refused to do my check up and sell me contacts which I needed urgently. The staff were very rude and unfriendly, especially the store manager. I will be changing branches after this.

    In a time when we’re all quick to complain, I just wanted to thank all the staff at Lord St for all their help and patience after having a few problems with my new glasses recently. In particularly, The young gentleman ( think his name is Pas) and the lady dispenser who understood what my problem was. I have been using Specsavers for over 30yrs and would absolutely recommend them.

    Got £2000 hearing aids & can’t really complain about them but had small problem as something broke, I tried ringing but had terrible trouble trying to get through as they have a glitch with phone line. Decided to press 1 for glasses as I know it’s same store, lady that answered was very stubborn & really didn’t want to know, I asked if she could walk a few steps & ask someone in hearing (not hard is it) after a rude silence she managed to get someone from hearing but obviously she wasn’t pleased either. Got my questions answered but not a pleasant experience! When I went to Lord street for repair I decided to voice my experience with deputy manager, she wasn’t interested & together with my earlier experience I’m really unhappy with the employees attitude. To me they just didn’t care? well my hearing aids can be given back within three months for a full refund, I’m seriously considering it.

    Went with my daughter who is short-sighted and getting her first pair of glasses. Appreciate the optician for helping but I didn’t like how we were told about all these unnecessary upgrades for the glasses. Felt really pushed

    Not clean. 0/5. 3 times I have been to try frames on here ... 3 times my eyes have been irritated or swollen after visiting. I will be going to the hospital walk-in clinic tomorrow as I think my eye is infected this time. It has been swollen for 3 days. I can not express how annoyed I am. The staff never seem to clean the frames as in other opticians. I should have known better after the last time, but I thought it was just a coincidence. I have logged a complaint but not heard back.

    Removed peroxide from the contact lens care scheme to save money. Since this change I have had 2 eye infections and experience daily discomfort wearing my lenses. I now have to source my own peroxide solution from the internet on top of paying my monthly subscription to Specsavers. A cost saving measure that impacts customers massively and also puts their health in jeopardy. Thanks..

    I bought a pair of rimless glasses for my holiday. I have a few pairs in different colours as I like to match them with my clothes. So instead of taking lots of pairs the rimless goes with anything. I was informed of how to look after them by Sharon, she was very helpful.

    Lovely staff, helped out with reshaping my husbands glasses with lots of care. 😊 Would recommend not stacking up the waiting room so much though, felt really crammed.

    an absolutely amazing experience there. went for an eye test and got to meet andy who gave me a wonderful consultation. we talked a lot and he explained everything to me from A to Z! ended up getting glasses, and everyone else was absolutely wonderful to meet as well, they're all friendly & helped me lots.

    I had an eye test and a contact lense test on the same day. Very polite and friendly stuff. I was sign posted along the way. All opticians and staff members were friendly and informative. One the best Specsavers stores I've been too. Definitely recommend them!

    Had a contact lens fitting booked for 12:50, and was instructed to show up 20 minutes earlier. I arrived at 12:30, was given lenses to put in at about 12:45, and then nobody came through to see me at all... At 12:15, I advised the ladies working at the desk I would have to leave for work. They apologized, went to find someone, and then said there had been a backlog with the optometrists and would have to re-book. Very frustrating, as I had advised at the point of booking I was organizing it during my lunch hour - this has never been a problem previously (I get the same test roughly every year), and I was advised again this time that it wouldn't be a problem today.

    From about 39 years I’m wearing 2 in 1 glasses. I pay 150£ for glasses which are only for reading. My main job is not the reading. I need glasses to wear daily. When I received the glasses the lady from the store didn’t gave me any opportunity to correct this mistake so I’m not using the glasses and also I spent money for nothing. Even she didn’t told about any compensation. What I should do whit glasses if doesn’t fit me ?The money are important for everybody and the quality of glasses also

    A really positive experience. I was so impressed with the customer service I received. The whole store had a great atmosphere but I specifically want to thank Veronica and Katie. They both were super friendly and helpful. I am looking forward to collecting my new glasses :D

    Went for an eye test. They are still following covid guidelines so the equipment is cleaned before each test. The staff are all friendly and helpful as always. You can still try frames on as they are cleaned after you try them on and realise that you look like a 1950's librarian.

    The staff were really helpful here. I got a thorough eye test that the optician explained as he went along. The staff downstairs were amazing with helping me choose the right specs for my weirdly shaped head and close together pig eyes. Couldn't be happier.

    Unorganised staff and bad communication between staff as they make up a excuses as they have missed my appointment and try blame me having to translate the entire time as I already informed another staff that she is able to understand English and when I asked they said I had missed my appointment and another staff has said at the beginning she tell me when my appointment is ready and after 20 minutes past my appointment time name still not called and have to book another time which I have been waiting for over 3 weeks and have to wait over a week again

    The shop was busy but was seen to very quickly. The change in my prescription was explained to me by the optician. Kevin was very helpful assisting me in picking a frame to suit me and explained the benefits of the anti glare lenses for computer use and driving. He explained the pricing and made everything very clear and simple.

    I'd had a bad experience in a store by the same company, however on reaching out to this store they were happy to do a problem solve. Becca was patient and asked lots of questions to find the problem then agreed I needed a new test. It had been 3 months since my test at the other store. I was booked in. On returning I did not have to wait long, a pretest was taken out then I saw a lovely lady called jen. She tested my eyes thoroughly and told me the reason I had a problem and agreed the lenses were not suitable. A lovely guy called Jordan made sure I got up and down the stairs safely. I picked up my glasses today and saw becca again and she appeared happy for me that the problem solve was worth it. I can't recommend this store highly enough. Every staff member I encountered was amazing and I look forward to being cared for at this store in the future. No other word than amazing, oh! And thank you! 😃j

    Went to get my glasses tightened, the person dealing with it snapped the arm off the frame and said it was a manufacturing issue and he couldn't reattach them. He suggested I'd need to go to my registered specsavers on the wirral to get them fixed. I insisted I needed a solution today to be able to see. He was insistent 3 times that I should go to Birkenhead and get it sorted instead. I asked if the lenses could be cut down to fit into another set of frames and he said possibly, that ended up being the solution. Basically, had I not stuck to my guns and got to the result I wanted, I would've been stuck without glasses for potentially a week or more. Service was friendly in general, but it did feel that they really would've rather told me to go away than put in the effort to fix the issue themselves.
