To give an honest review. It’s actually a bit of a shame they are so poor at what they do as I think if they ironed a few (serious) issues out they could actually be a decent private test provider. They will initially say they changed courier from DPD to Royal Mail as they were having issues with DPD. This is incorrect. The issues themselves were with biograd as I had colleagues who received Royal Mail tracking numbers yet never ever received anything and had to request a refund. I myself received my package (4 days after it should have arrived. Royal Mail tracking kept saying item not received yet. So this was a biograd issue.) When my item did arrive, it had parts missing (the antigen test was completely missing). This then took another 3 days to arrive which to be fair to biograd they did resolve without issue. The results process was quick and efficient enough. I would not recommend and would never use this company again and have actively discouraged friends from using them. You simply can’t trust your items to turn up and as a lot of these items are time critical it is not worth the risk in any way.

I booked my day 2 PCR test four days before flying back home to make sure it would be there for when I arrival, whilst looking for the my day 2 PCR test most other companies alerted you on their sites with the information that it may be delayed due to Royal Mail services. BioGrad diagnostics did not share the information on their site hence why I choose them thinking I would have enough time to do my test and return to work on time when needed. I am aware due to bank holidays there might of been some delays. But I had posted my test at an NHS priority post box so it would be back picked up the next day. I am now on my 3rd day waiting and due to go back to work tomorrow with no results! I have contacted the company via website and email but seems to be very poor communication. I guess like any company once they have your money they do not care what services if they give their customers. Save your money and stress and book somewhere else !

I have ordered 3 tests at £77 pound each Inc next day delivery via dpd a week ago, and nothing. Quick to take my money and send confirmation emails. But I don't need those I need the tests. Have emailed every email possible and called every number I can find. With no luck. BIOGRAD, IF YOU ARE ARE QUICK TO RESPOND TO THESE REVIEWS THEN PLEASE CONTACT ME OR BETTER STILL SEND MY KITS!!! Unfortunately I will not let this pass and I will get to the bottom of this and either get my kit before we travel, or this will get taken to higher level, and I'm pretty sure we will have a few other joining me to get a refund.

I had a great experience with BioGrad so far (just got my Test & Release result back). I booked with them just two days before arriving in the UK (that was already too late for some other providers) and had the tests arrive really quickly (on Day 1 - this might be quicker for some people if they order earlier). Both the day 2 and the Test & Release test got returned to me within 24 hours of me sending them off. I haven't yet taken the day 8 test but I am certain it will be just as fast. Really happy!

I have since been able to get a hold of someone via phone and they were able to reassure me and solve the situation in time. have also ordered 3 test kits. We are leaving tomorrow and nothing has arrived and there has been no reply from any of the email links or response on the phone. These tests contain the antigen tests we need to complete before we come back to the UK. It says it shipped on a few days ago but there is nothing at the moment. I am very upset about this.

Honest Opinion This was the first time I travelled abroard since the pandemic started, as stressful as it is trying to work out what you need to get back in to the UK this company hasn't been easy. The test kit for the 2 day mandatory and the pre flight antigen test turned up a day later than expected so needed to pay for another test abroad. When I got home on the Sunday my swab test was sent to them on the Monday using the Royal mail priority service. I waited until the Thursday to call them to chase up the result. I couldn't be disclosed the result over the phone and I'm still waiting for the email. To be honest if I'm to travel again soon I wouldn't use this company. The extra star is for the 2 Times I needed to call, someone answered the phone contrary to the other reviews I have read.

Paid for the 2 day pcr postal delivery test having returned from holiday. The package arrived late. I did the test and my husband took my swab with him to the Bootle office when he attended in person for his own test. I still don't have my results despite me chasing them with repeated emails and phone calls. Terrible customer service. Rip off! I recommend you use another comp

Absolute ripoff company. Issue after issue after issue. Do not use. It is now over a week since I ordered my test and still no results. If you call, be prepared to wait for 45min on hold. Don't bother emailing as they just not respond at all. And for some reason it cost £7 postage to send a small envelope, which in return takes almost a week to arrive. DO NOT TRUST THEM!!!!

I had paid £150 for three tests, and was supposed to do test to release. I submitted my test to release 4 days ago and still haven’t heard back from them even after I tried contacting them multiple times via email and phone call. Don’t understand what was the point of paying so much if they are not going to either reply or share my results with me. It takes two days for the results reach them and two days to process it, which I think is totally unrealistic. If you try contacting them they reply to you 3/10 times no matter how big the issue is. The service that I got was very slow and I do not recommend anyone to buy from this place.

Very happy we chose this company for day 2&8 tests, after hearing bad stuff about many companies. Locator reference number came immediately after placing the order, tests were delivered even before we came to England, the results were 1 day late, but that’s because we took them during the weekend, and the post office handled them on Monday. Customer support very helpful. Recommend!!

These people are not to be trusted. The company confirmed receipt of my sample on Monday morning over the phone. (They confirmed some of the details that were inside of the envelope, so I was completely certain that they had it by then.) They only sent me my results on Tuesday evening, well over their 24 hour promise, and long after I was supposed to arrive at my destination. They are now lying about confirming receipt in order not to process the refund that I have rightfully asked for. This is disgraceful!

No problem with delivery of kits but that's the easy bit as I picked up!! On holiday I submitted our 2 tests (both negative), after waiting over 48 hours for fit to fly certificate... NOTHING. I called 5 times, no answer, sent 2 emails, no answer, left a voicemail, no answer... with 4 hours to boarding I managed to speak to someone. She checked the submissions and spotted an error with uploaded photo's... thankfully she sorted the problem and with 3 hours to spare we got results. What is the point of giving email and telephone number if biograd can't be bothered to contact the customer when there is a problem with submission. Not value for money but hopefully stupid government policy will soon be binned☹️

Appalling. New requirements oblige you to book a private covid testing service and quarantine till you have received a negative day 2 result. Should one quarantine forever if their private testing service is a liability? They are incapable of doing their jobs and I’ve had to rely on FREE lateral flow tests to make sure my family/friends/public are safe. If you’re hoping to receive a result please don’t waste your time on this company. If you enjoy sticking swabs up your nose for no reason whatsoever, please book your tests now.

DO NOT USE BioGrad! We ordered two day 2 kits for me and my partner. We received the parcel that stated there are two kits there, but to our surprise there was only one. I contacted them immediately and they assured me that it is indeed their fault and that my kit will be sent to me the morning after (I have an email exchange proving this). After not receiving anything in the afternoon of the day after I called again and they said they apologise and it'll be with me two days later. Which is shocking to begin with- how do you promise me it'll arrive if you cannot assure that?! Of course it didn't arrive even then. Today, 4 days after they promised I'll get my replacement kit, it finally arrived. Hopefully it wouldn't take them 5 more days (or more) to send me back my results. Save your time and money and use a different company.

Enquiry made on phone first to get advice on price etc, chap very knowledgeable outlined steps for me to take. Easy to book and pay online and obtained a Sunday appointment. Pleasant young girl at reception and health assistant showed us to booth, helping with process. Done and dusted inside 5mins. Results back 13hrs later. We took a 24hr test. Cheapest by far at £19.99 when all the others wanted £55 plus. Definitely use again x

Excellent service. I booked the day 2 and day 8 home tests several weeks in advance of my return to the UK. The tests were mailed immediately after payment and arrived the next day. Home test kit instructions are very simple and clear. The results arrived on the evening of receipt (day 2 test posted day 2, received by biograd day 3 am - results by email day 3 evening). Couldn't fault them.

3 day trip to Germany turned very stressful. Posted our day 1 tests on the morning of our departure. Didn't receive an email by the day of our return so attempted to call which took hours. Finally they admitted that our tests had been lost & there was nothing they could do so we were left stranded in Calais until the next day. We were left to find & book our own tests, hotel & rebook the train. We were told to submit our expenses & it wouldn't be a problem. We then received an email the day after we got back saying our samples were tested at midday on the day we left.! But now they are saying they wont refund us because we don't have the tracking numbers! VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.

We booked Fit to fly PCR test at the Warrington branch and had a fantastic experience. I was hesitant after the mixed reviews but I think most of the negative reviews were for the postal tests arriving late. The test centre itself is right in the centre of Warrington so very easy to find, once you enter its very clean inside and well organised. We chose to do the test ourselves so we we were handed the test kit and directed into a private room with a mirror so felt very relaxed. The results were supposed to come back within the next 24 hours and they did. I would highly recommend this centre. 😊

Received tests quickly, very easy to use and got results the next day. Can't fault them, customer service is also excellent. Much better option than overpriced Randox, Collinson etc

Quite impressed with this service. I was very wary of a pcr test costing £20 but decided to give it a try. I needed a Pcr test for my trip to Abu Dhabi. Mailed the test off at 13:30 on 6th July and had my results at 16:30 on 7th July. Absolutely flawless. I'll definitely be using this service again and would recommend to others. A+ service.

My mum drive to bootle on the 12th january and was tested at 11am, she paid £170 for a test that was said to have results emailed through to her within 12 hours- by 11pm on the 12th. It is now 5am the 13th my mum is sat in the airport at her checkin desk for her international flight to Australia with no result back yet! Now she will probably have to catch a flight tomorrow if the airline will change her flight free of charge, this is VERY stressful and would never recommend to use this place! We will definately be demanding a refund, also been calling there number for the last 3 hours with no answer!

The process was seamless and easy. I chose the self administered in-clinic Day 2 PCR and they still had someone to guide you through that. Staff were very helpful. My result came out in less than 24 hours. Very affordable too. I have not one complaint

I booked and collected my fit to fly PCR test through Rightangled. No issues in the booking and collecting process, I have tho a massive problem with the BioGrad testing service, which is precisely about the result itself. I have had a double jab of vaccine last summer, and had covid about a month ago, and after ten days of quarantine I tested negative twice so I stopped self isolating. A week ago I went to personally deliver my fit to fly test 2 days before flying, and just the day before for some inexplicable reason the result came back positive. I immediately took 3 other tests, 2 later flows and a PCR and of course they all came back negative, being that I have had covid literally the other day. This still resulted in the NHS asking me to self isolate because positive to covid, and obviously consequently missing my flight. This also put me an awkward position as I had to stay at a friend's house since my house contract was expiring on my flying day because I was moving abroad. Lost money and time for something so important that was absolutely unreliable!! PLEASE DO NOT TRUST THIS SERVICE.

Totally unreliable! I am still waiting for the kit to arrive after 84 hours and I doubt it will even arrive! Even if it arrives, you doubt whether we can rely on the results timescale. What a waste of £19.99. I wouldn't recommend it!

  • 1/5 Carl B. 1 year ago on Google
Why are you testing for something that don't exist. charging extortionate prices for a test that don't even work . Covid is no longer a threat , wasn't in the first place .

  • 5/5 Marissa W. 2 years ago on Google
Used for fit to fly and day 2 tests at least 3 times now. Have always ordered well in advance and posted promptly and gotten results with plenty of time to spare (we are based in London). Also the lowest price I have seen so far. Definitely recommend!

This company treats NHS key workers horribly! I have ordered my test over a week before my date of travel. I never received my booking reference and I had to chase this up so I spent at least an hour on this. Then, my test has never arrived. When I contacted this company via FB messanger I was told that they re-sent it. Again, it has never arrived and I was clearly lied to. I was advised to contact BioGrad Diagnostic customer service and I requested a refund. They told me that the test was not re-sent and that I can get a refund but it will take 5-10 working days to arrive. So now: I don't have a test, I need to isolate, I didn't get my money back yet. I am a key worker for NHS and it affected my work. Such a bad experience. I would be ashamed if I had to work for this company.
