Loved the experience. We were out there for The Magic of Motown show. The performers put up a great performance and was very enjoyable and the atmosphere was great. The venue as usual was clean, security on entry was straight forward and re assuring. Bars and food stands had a good choice and not over priced. Will attend next year and are looking forward to attending more shows at this wonderful venue.

I've been to the M&S a few times for conferences, but this was the first time as a concert. Post lockdowns too! We were so pleased with the experience throughout. Every member of staff was just fantastic! Each person went out of their way to make everyone's experience a pleasant one, we joked and laughed with many and they truly made the night that much better. Everything was smooth sailing, what a fantastic team! We had great seat to the side but very near the front of the stage. We noticed the walkway McFly had created was very high and there was a lot of floor seated fans that wouldn't have been able to see the concert barely at all. The team ran around like crazy before the event started rearranging the guests to better seats without actually comprising their views!! We look forward to coming back 🥰 But next time I'm booking the lounge!!!

Great arena, easy access and clean. We went to see Ricky Gervais. Didn't have to queue for long to get in. Security were really helpful. Get something to eat before you go in, there are plenty of places nearby to get food as it is expensive and the food isn't the best when you get in. If you can get here without driving then I would recommend that, as leaving the car park can take forever. The train station or bus station is only a short walk away.

A great venue by the waters edge, easily accessible and plenty of places to stay. It has some amazing gigs and bands playing in this perfect arena. Get some food before you go in from the eateries in the locality. Find somewhere along the waterfront to sit down outside if the weather is suitable and take in the atmosphere and scenery. Then pop over to the arena to enjoy your concert.

Big venue space for a student fair. Great staff happy to assist. Just need to sort out signage, I got lost, walked around for a while. Other then that, it was a great venue. Let's hope that the Eurovision will take place here next year!

If you coming for a venue leave your car somewhere else. Parking is verylimited. Only 1 car park were available which was full 1 hour before the gates opened. Cars just wondering around looking for space. Worst parking experience ever.

What a great venue for a gig! We were in the upper tier and still had a great view (can’t say the same for other arenas). There’s reasonable priced parking within 10 minutes walk and there’s also a selection of food and drink places close by if you want a pre show meal/drink.

Great stadium. I was there for the Eurovision weekend and everything was great and orderly both at the entrance and exit of the venue. Very well located next to the Royal Albert Dock, especially my hotel was only a few steps from there. Great experience. Congratulations for the organization

Amazing venue. Always had a great time here. The staff are great and very welcoming, the seats are comfortable. In terms of food and drink it's ok, I just wish they did more ales than just lagers like San Miguel and carlsberg. Would highly recommend it for any gig or event. Well worth a visit.

Went there for Eurovision. Everything about the event went smoothly. Very well organised and there were never queues for the toilets (both men and women). The security was mostly incredibly helpful and understanding. After two were cramming the crowd into a small place I had a panic attack and after getting out, an elderly gentleman and a younger woman were very kind and offered medical assistance and guided me out of the nearest exit. The only reasons for not giving it 5 stars were: - the bars tended to have long queues - no gender neutral toilets available

Stunning venue we went to see the monster truck live show Nd couldn't fault the place. It was nice clean and full of friendly staff who were always on hand to help. Toilets were clean and didn't smell wich was a bonus.

I visited the arena for Eurovision Song Contest 2023, and I had a fantastic time! The arena is located right in Liverpool city center on the riverfront. It is easy to walk there from the city center, like 15 min walk. The arena is big and modern. You can find food kiosks next to many seating Sections, same situation with the toilets. The only minus I can mention is the small spacing between the seats, plus, the seats are tiny and a little bit uncomfortable. Eurovision was organized on the highest level, by the way. I really loved how the arena handled the shows. The lighting was magical!

Very amazing state of the art arena. We had a wonderful reception from this facility, our conference went so well, and were all satisfied.. Staff at the facility are so handy, good internet and well organized. Most importantly, they have got a good view of Royal Albert Dock. Here you can get amazing pictures if you like taking photos. The security was so superb.

I've been to the M&S Bank Arena several times (previously the Echo Arena) to see music - comedy - various shows . . . Our last visit was to see Diana Ross 💃 This was a concert over two years late due to the dreaded lurgy. It was well worth the wait! . . . It was a sell out so you've got 11,000 people trying to get into the place. The process in my opinion is very good. From queueing outside to getting to your seat. You will be walking through a security frame and bags checked - no problem here! There's loads of staff to answer any questions and guide you to your seats. We were on the floor right infront of the stage this time but we have sat in every section over the years and have never had a problem. The bar is obviously crammed beforehand and at the interval but service is fast and you're back in your seat in no time at all! Toilets are good and disabled toilets are of course available. There is also a huge wheelchair section of the arena which is about halfway up the viewing sections so it's a pretty good vantage point. On the night Diana Ross was brilliant! She did all the classics we know and some new stuff. At one point she asked the crowd to put their phone lights on and wave them to the song and it was quite the moment 👌🏽 We all piled out at around 11pm and the sun had set over the Mersey but there was still some light in the sky. What a view! I love the arena and it's a great addition to the Liverpool waterfront.

Very well laid out venue, and only a short walk from ample parking. Staff were friendly and helpful and the facilities were clean and numerous enough to handle the crowd. Saw a seated concert and though it was fantastic, the seating wasn't particularly comfortable, my only real gripe with an otherwise brilliant evening.

Another wonderful visit to the M&S Arena , love it here & once again wasn't dissapointed .. Jeff Waynes War of The Worlds musical was absolutely fantastic from start to finish .. The martian tripod had lazers & shot fire as it came down from the roof . Forever Autumn was accompanied by leaves falling from the ceiling ,Justin Hayward sang beautifully, Jeff Wayne conducted energetically the great band & Orchestra & The Artillary man (Kevin Clifton)stole the show..Although to be fair they were all Brilliant .. Grab a drink & a bite to eat on your way to your seats .foods tasty..they serve alcholic & non drinks & your never too far from the toilets ,which are very clean . Cant wait to go again after such a long wait ,great to be able to go out again☺️

Was here for a conference for 4 days. The air conditioning in the actual hall was great, so great that I kept coming outside to warm up! Toilets let this building down, locks on doors not working or fell off, toilet roll holders missing in most of the cubicles, if they sort this out it would be a 5 star

  • 4/5 Mark L. 9 months ago on Google
All good. Great experience. And well done to all the staff involved in keeping us all safe during the event. One star off though. The price of beer 🤣🤣

Went to watch Ricky Gervais in Armagedoon he was brilliant, I purchased direct from here, and that was all done smoothly with the silly admin charges you get everywhere now adays. My biggest gripe about the place was the silly checks that security did half-heartedly. If you are going to do it and use knife arches, then do it properly! But the waterside staff held everything up delayed people getting in with no real reason as checks very poor. Prices for food drink the usual overpriced variety, and I bought bottled water ridiculous cost, but the screw cap removed for no reason other than we have too 🙃

Easy to get to and staff were friendly and helpful. The Reminisce event was great and wasn't completely packed luckily. We had floor tickets and there were only 2 bars available. People were queuing into the actual arena and for around 40 minutes each time. Staff worked hard but the volume of people made it slow and was card only! Surely more bars would help. The gents toilets were crazy, there were women in them telling men to use the urinals 😁, was like a free for all in the wild west. Luckily we managed to get upstairs where the 2 bars were much quieter and the toilets were mostly empty 😉

At the Pet Shop Boys concert in summer 2023. Good venue with friendly security. Drink prices are OK - inflated as with all concert venues but not unreasonable. Toilets were reasonably clean considering the thousands of people using the facilities. Post-concert dispersal from the venue was efficient and safe.

We went to VOXI kiss haunted house party and the queue for the toilet was about a mile long and some toilets were closed. Drinks were cheap for 2 pints it was around £11.00. also there were a lot of kids without adult supervision, not sure how they got in. Apart from that it was a great night.

  • 5/5 Ben K. 4 months ago on Google
Great venue. Very few seats are "bad seats" as you get a great view and sound from just about anywhere. Even had enough room to push a boat through too!

  • 4/5 Duncan S. 4 months ago on Google
Great venue, however...... Egress is a bit of an issue, although you can leave the building by many exits, they all lead to the same place so you end up with a huge bottleneck to leave the dockside area. Also parking isn't great.

Been to see a brilliant panto Peter Pan. Only problem not enough ladies toilets open! Ok only half area was in use but still lots of ladies need the loo!

Lovely new venue. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We watched the last show for the year of Don't Stop Believing. Amazing atmosphere. Right next to the main arena so easy access to parking. Highly recommended

  • 5/5 Rachel J. 5 months ago on Google
This is a great venue. The layout is good, short walk to affordable parking, accessibility was grand, staff were very helpful directing and informing. Upon arrival, there were queues. However, security moved quickly without skimping on, actually doing their job!! The only downside is that I'd previously checked by phone regarding hot food, and when we arrived, it wasn't as good as on the website or what had been explained, plus quite pricey, so a little disappointed with the incorrect information given, but it didn't dampen an otherwise amazing night accompanying my disabled friend watch S club. The evacuation towards the end was handled promptly by staff. Luckily, the show could go on!! So it has to be 5 stars for the staff here who make everyone feel welcome and safe.

What a fab night watched Ludovico Einuadi amazing pianist, it was packed out I was lucky to be offered a VIP entry and I have to say the whole set up, security I could not fault its a welcomed change that everyone I met had a smile and couldn't do enough to make my evening beyond special, thank you MS Arena, I will definitely be back.

Excellent all round. First visit. Accommodated us after we needed to change seats due to back injury. Venue is great and prices are actually not to bad at bar. Seats good and sound was amazing.

Polite, professional and helpful stewards and staff. No long queues, toilets very clean throughout the evening & bar reasonably priced. Great experience at the Kiss Haunted House Party for my daughters first concert. We felt very safe and crowds were well controlled. Thank you!

Went to watch Ru Paul's Drag Race season 3 for my 1st visit here. The arena staff were polite friendly and very efficient. We found the seating comfortable with good legroom and great view of the stage from the 1st tier seating. As expected drinks and snacks were expensive bit these seems to be the norm in arena venues.

Great venue - I've been for comedy gig and a band. Both occasions were great, feels somewhat intimate for such a large venue. I love m&s bank arena, and will always be my preference when attending events!

  • 4/5 Sarah T. 6 months ago on Google
Good seats, think they could do a standing only for certain artists, staff kept telling dancers to sit down so I think that should be an option. I would be annoyed if someone danced in front of me but the venue is easy to get in and out of.

  • 4/5 Natasha P. 7 months ago on Google
Haven’t been here since it was the Echo Arena, pretty good cues well managed and seating easy to find. Food and drink not too expensive and plenty of alternate options.

  • 5/5 Rebecca H. 7 months ago on Google
Visited for the Busted concert and the arena was small enough to feel quite special and intimate but large enough to get a great atmosphere. Would definitely try and see bands and shows here rather than AO Arena in Manchester

Great night watching Deacon Blue in the 02 Arena Liverpool massive venue with really helpful staff. A well organised event, waited since Xmas 2022 for this night courtesy of tickets from my son (Xmas present for myself and my wife) The seats are really close together and uncomfortable not much space to stretch your legs they really crammed us un that night

  • 5/5 Matthew B. 7 months ago on Google
Theirs a lot you can say 40 years later getting tickets 🎟 at the beginning of the year we new that the evening with Echo and the bunnymen 40 years celebrating this iconic album was a no brainer .the bunnymen on home ground in mark's and Spencer area that's a night you can't miss the big bonus for an even better night was accumulated with the Liverpool Philharmonic orchestra🎻🎻🎻🎸🎸🎸🥁🥁🥁 the music 🎶 🎵 from the bunnymen was outstanding but when they started playing ▶️ Ocean Rain album the Liverpool Philharmonic came alive truly a night to remember 👍

  • 5/5 Trebor 1. 8 months ago on Google
We had a great time, and plenty of staff directing you to the right entrances and moving people out of the isles during the show (totally opposite to our last visit), so this was good to see. Scouting For Girls and Olly Murs were awesome, and the second time this year, we have watched them (AO Arena 5th May). I did have a lady stop herself from falling down the steps by grabbing hold of me has her heel broke on her shoe, which she apologised for (no need too, really). The only downside to the M&S Bank Arena is if you sit on the floor level near the back, when everyone stands up, you only see the screens or the heads of the artists as the stage is too low (this we encountered on our 1st visit to watch Radio City Hits Live 2023.). This is why we chose the first tier seating this time, and it was well worth it, too.

  • 4/5 amanda d. 2 years ago on Google
Really enjoyed visiting this venue. Was rather hot inside but it was comicon... a few niggly things, there was water dispenser like at school but no water to it.. disabled loos were used far to much for ppl changing into cosplay so hadda wait every time. There should have been better screening and security, we were told all bags would be searched and temp checks but I saw none. THe place is huge, clean, inviting, I'd have liked more food choices and they could ration so theres enough for both days. All in all I hadda blast and look forward to liverpool's indoor funfair in dec..

Freindly place, easy to get to. I prefer to be as close to the stage as possible, never made it to the front row yet only coz I find that to close for me personally.my view for Genesis gig last night was great. Brilliant gig too, so much fun with the sing alongs and audience participation too.

Saw Ricky Gervais here (He was brilliant!) and the venue is quite nice. Drinks weren’t too badly priced for a venue like this. £5.50 for a pint which, compared to some other places isn’t the worst. Queues went down fast. Staff were friendly and helpful. Decent place

  • 5/5 Nigel C. 2 years ago on Google
Well organised venue for big gigs. The flow of public is descent, plenty of bars to get drinks. It may be hard to though the performance without a big screen if your seats are at the back.

Really nice location, paid parking available a short distance away. Had far a way seats but was pleasantly surprised as smaller venue than other arenas I've been too. Lots of available toilets kept clean and drinks and snacks priced as expected

Went to watch Steps on the 18th November. Never been to this particular arena before. A lot smaller than I thought it would be. It was nice as it felt like an intimate gig rather than a massive scale concert. The floor was sticky which was a tad annoying but I suppose it to be expected when there's it alcohol being served. I will come to this arena again to watch someone else in the future

  • 5/5 Reshma C. 1 year ago on Google
My first time and M&S Arena, its not too big inside which makes for a great and intimate atmosphere. Has seating and standing space, highly recommend standing, if you can for a while, the party is upfront! The biggest downside is trying to purchase drinks, the coordination of lining up from one side of the entrance to get into line at the bar fails, people were pushing in whilst others waited for almost 40 mins, we gave up waiting and saved our money.

  • 5/5 Adam M. 2 years ago on Google
Had a great ngt watching Ant Middleton, security on way in were very polite, courteous, welcoming and professional. Bar prices were a bit steep, 4 doubles and mixers cost me £32, but that's to be expected at an event. All in all, a great ngt was had by me and my friend.

  • 5/5 mark D. 2 years ago on Google
Great venue for live music/entertainment, good to see extra security and walk through scanners in light of recent security issues in Liverpool. Had a fabulous night watching deacon blue, plenty of nice clean toilet facilities and bars 😃

Great nite at city live concert. Also new multi storey car park with plenty of parking space

  • 2/5 Not so P. 2 years ago on Google
Event was Ricky Gervais super nature, the show was delayed due to staff setting up the security at entrances at 6pm which was supposed to be the start time of entry to the venue, issues with the set up of the scanners meant the audience was still being let in after 8pm when the support act had already started. Bars closed at 8.50pm. Seats are very uncomfortable and not designed for anyone over 6ft. Cameras for the screens showed no facial close ups. Facilities were OK, staff were polite and apologised for delays. The show itself was fantastic (5 stars for Gervais, 2 stars for the venue, 2 starts for the support act if I'm being generous)

  • 3/5 Mike W. 2 years ago on Google
Queues were ridiculous to get in - security check then ticket check (not covid checks). Clean and tidy inside with good facilities. Like the venue as good views from wherever you sit.

  • 5/5 Simon L. 2 years ago on Google

Watched Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live! The arena was well organised & despite the long queue for refreshments, we were served quite quickly by pleasant & well mannered staff.

  • 4/5 Mark E. 2 years ago on Google
A good venue for concerts but you can be a long way from the stage, and only the headline act is on video. I know this is more the main act than the venue. Prices are a bit steep but probably no dearer than other similar venues. Staff have always been brilliant. As a wheelchair users, they have always been very helpful and friendly. Overall, it's a good venue to watch the top acts

We had front row middle seats right in front of Debbie Harry tonight. 76yrs old she is absolutely beautiful!! You cannot take your eyes off her!! One of the best most memorable experiences of our lives!! Johny Marr was supporting....he was brilliant!! What a night we will never forget!!

This was my second time going there. Easy to travel to from Manchester. Less than an hour’s journey. Parking was in close proximity of the arena. The security was excellent and staff were very friendly. Inside the arena you can buy refreshments and snacks. Plenty of room inside fir social distancing. Toilets were clean. The gymnastics competition was very well organised by the arena and #Britishgymnastics.

Went to see Dua Lipa. Clean facilities and little queuing in and out. Lovely location on the docks and next to the wheel. Lots of places to eat and drink in a short walking distance with a decent Premier Inn across the road and museum! Lovely weekend all round!

Decent arena with fairly reasonable parking and good transport links. Lots of hotels nearby as right in the city centre. We had an emergency evacuation on the night we went to see a gig but nothing drastic and we got to come back in to enjoy the gig. But, the staff were great and the evacuation was very well handled.
