Everything at Senate is yummy!! The gyro sandwich is so huge, you can eat with a knife & fork. Greek salads & the dressing is delicious. Kids had chicken strips & hamburger & fries. Their fries are the best around!! 🥗🍔🥙🍽️

Being a born and raised new Yorker I look forward to my sandwich at the senate Coney island restaurant. It the woman who serves me was beautiful and smart and funny. I enjoyed her sense of humor and our common bond. The sandwich I got was corned beef which I haven't had in many many years and I was not disappointed. I like the atmosphere of the restaurant and the way the people handle the cooking the kitchen is exposed so you can see what's going on and it appears that all the food is prepared fresh . The price was reasonable I highly recommend it

We had attempted to go to the restaurant across the street but it had a long wait so we went to this place instead. And I'm so glad because this food was Amazing and the service was fast and friendly. Our waitress knew we were in a hurry and helped us get out without feeling rushed. Will definitely be back when we are in the area again.

Our waiter was so nice and helped me look for my dad because I was meeting him there. The food was excellent! Cashier gave me incorrect change but was so apologetic and sweet when I mentioned he was off. Thanks Senate ❣️

Didn't wanna take off the lot without writing a review. My first time here, I was very impressed by the service, quality of foor and the reasonable prices. Only one thing which I had to mention, the restrooms needs more attention. Will see you guys again for sure

I ordered fish, very good. Waitress was attentive but did not hover. I'm on a fixed income, I felt prices were affordable.

What's not to love about Senate Coney Island?Today I picked up chili,a large Greek salad,and George's infamous rice pudding.Everything was delicious+plentiful.Drew+staff were very kind+polite.

One of the best local Coney Islands. Family friendly, good location, and cheap and cheerful! My friend got the fried chicken pita and I got a grilled chicken. We also split onion rings. Staff was nice & atmosphere was relaxing.

This is the very best place to get a Coney Dog! It's absolutely delicious. The chili is perfect. You have to have the chili. Brian was our server. He is amazingly kind, fun, knowledgeable, and very customer friendly and an ownership type of way. I had a strawberry oreo milkshake, and it was really yummy. I'm hooked on them now.

We love this diner! Prompt and friendly wait staff. Food is cooked to order or kitchen will make quick corrections if needed (rarely needed). Food is always cooked and served quickly. You're not dining here for the atmosphere. It's the food and service that you are experiencing, and that is great!

I've only eaten at Senate a small handful of times, as I've lived abroad for 30 years. But I have the most pleasant experience every time I dine here. The service makes me feel like family, and the food is second to none. One of my favorite "little things" is the Chicken Lemon Rice soup, the best around.

I liked this Coney Island. The food was fresh and tasted good. The staff was friendly but because there were busy at the time we didn't get much of their attention. I do want to point out that the restaurant was a little loud. Prices are favorable. Will return some time.

It's a wonderful, reasonably priced casual restaurant. Great for families to seniors. The menu is large & has food that will satisfy an appetite for whatever one is in the mood for. Many delicious Greek specialties, great Coney hot dogs with delicious chili to sandwiches, burgers, pitas, salads, soups & very reasonable full course entrees with your choice of sides. I'm not sure if they still have delicious rice pudding that comes with full entrees for dessert. I forgot to look last night. Menu is good for children also. Good place to stop in for a lunch with friends. The restaurant closes at 9:00. If you want to sit & relax & enjoy your meal, I would say to get there no later than 8:00 otherwise they start cleaning & hustling around in anticipation to leave. As it gets towards 9:00 the restaurant is quite empty & you get the feeling that they are tired & just waiting for you to finish eating.
